Chapter 637: Changes
When Feng Yun and his brothers arrived at the training ground, they saw a young woman observing a group of trainees having a combat test. Standing beside her were three instructors, each of them holding a folder and recording the trainees’ test results.

Seeing them coming, Qian Yu walked over and greeted him with a smile. “Brother Feng, what brings you here? Did your team go out on a mission again?”

“Brother Qian, I came to enlist my younger brothers into the training camp,” Feng Yun replied.

Hearing this, Qian Yu looked at Feng Xuan and Feng Zhen for a moment before he said, “You come at the right time. Captain Wu is currently checking the trainees’ training results. Your brothers can join the test so we can check their foundation first.”

Feng Yun knew that this was the normal procedure, so he nodded and turned to his brothers. “Go and do your best.”

Meeting their brother’s encouraging gaze, both Feng Xuan and Feng Zhen nodded and followed Qian Yu.

While the two of them joined the trainees, Qian Yu informed his team and wrote down their names. If they could pass the test, then they could join the training camp tomorrow.

At first, everyone thought that with Feng Zhen’s thin figure, he would not be able to pass the test. But when they were asked to run for ten kilometers, he not only became the first to reach the finish line, even his breathing was still stable.

Feng Yun observed his brothers and noticed that it was Feng Xuan who had a hard time keeping up instead.

Recalling the doctor’s words and Du Beiye’s strange behavior during her visit, a guess flashed in his mind. But without any evidence, he could not be sure that his youngest brother’s health condition had something to do with her.

When the test was over, the sky started to darken.

Standing in front of the trainees, Wu Zimo glanced at everyone before he said, “After the test, only seven trainees are qualified to join the guard team. The rest of the trainees can choose to join the new recruits and continue training or leave.”

Afterward, he called out the names of the graduates and looked at the new recruits. Although most of them could not reach the finish line, they were still enlisted in the training camp.

The only difference between them and those who reached the finish line was their training program.

Those who failed would start from scratch and build up their stamina and train their physique first. As for those who passed the test, besides training their physique, they would learn combat and survival skills.

After they divided the group, Wu Zimo said, “The training will start tomorrow at seven o’clock. Those who are late will receive punishment. Go back and have a good rest.”

When he finished, he turned and left with the instructors. While they walked, they discussed the new recruit who failed the test and decided to leave their training to Qian Yu. Those who passed the test would be trained by Zhao Chenghao.

Since Feng Yun was not the instructor, he could only wait for his brothers outside the training field. Seeing him leaning on the wall while lost in thought, Jiang Mi walked over.

Although they were not familiar with each other, the Phantom team saved her members and her life. If not for them sending them to the Lin’an City base for treatment, they would have lost their lives during their mission in the Capital.

“Comrade Feng, are you waiting for your brothers?” she asked.

Hearing her voice, Feng Yun was pulled out of his thoughts. Raising his gaze, he saw Jiang Mi’s smiling face and nodded.

“Both of your brothers have passed the test. The training will start tomorrow at seven o’clock.”

Nodding at her words, Feng Yun said, “I have to bother you and your team to take care of my brothers.”

Due to her gratitude, Jiang Mi did not feel his request was too much. “You can leave them to us,” she agreed readily.

Not long after, Feng Xuan and Feng Zhen walked over and said, “Eldest Brother, we passed the test!”

Feng Yun smiled and replied, “Well done. Let us go back, Mother and Father must be waiting for us.”

The two of them were happy and did not notice Jiang Mi, who left silently. The three of them left the training ground and returned on their bicycles.

While the Feng family received good news one after another, Pei Xun finally returned to Jiangning City.

After leaving the base for twenty days, everyone thought that he would be tired during his return. After all, life outside was not as comfortable as in the base.

Unexpectedly, Pei Xun not only did not look tired, but he even looked much younger and stronger compared to before. It took his subordinates a while to recognize him.

Instead of returning to his residence, he went to his office directly. As soon as he sat behind his desk, Pei Xun asked, “Did anything happen during my absence?”

Ma Gaoheng placed a folder on the desk and said, “Commander, two days after your departure, the delegation from the Wa country arrived at our base. They stayed for eight days before they left.”

Opening the folder, Pei Xun read the report while asking, “Did they meet with Yijun?”

“Captain Pei indeed met with the delegation, but no one knew what they were talking about. The meeting lasted for half an hour.”

Hearing this, Pei Xun went silent for a moment before he asked, “When those people left, did they bring anything with them?”

“From the information gathered by our spies, they came to buy supplies, but the deal fell through,” Ma Gaoheng shook his head.

When he heard this, Pei Xun’s expression relaxed slightly.

He had been in a coma for two weeks due to the serum injection. After he woke up, he could not wait to return as soon as possible, fearing that his son would seize control of the base or do something behind his back.
