Chapter 1296: Many favours
“Junior Brother Lin, it seems like you’ve been quite busy lately.”

Lin Fan just smiled without saying anything at the person that had come to see him.

After all, it wasn’t as if this was the first time that this was happening.

After that first harvest, the rumours had already spread all over the Heavenly Demon Sect.

The eyes of this other disciple lit up when he heard this, but then he calmed down and asked, “Junior Brother Lin, what is it?”

He didn’t seem like he was agreeing to help Lin Fan, it seemed like he was planning on hearing him out first before saying anything.

Lin Fan knew why he was doing this, so he said, “There’s this artifact that I’ve been hoping to refine and I know of Senior Brother Tian’s talents. I hope that you will be able to refine an artifact for me.”

Senior Brother Tian narrowed his eyes to look at Lin Fan as if he was trying to see through him, but then he said with a smile, “Alright, that’s not a problem. Since Junior Brother Lin is helping me with something, it’s only natural that I would help Junior Brother Lin with something.”

Lin Fan gave a simple nod to confirm this.

With that, it was agreed that Lin Fan would help this Senior Brother Tian with growing a seed that he had found. This was a seed for a special tree that he needed the wood of to refine a special artifact.

This Senior Brother Tian was one of the special deacons who was said to be the closest to becoming an elder in the forging hall. He could be considered one of the special talents that Lin Fan wanted to get closer to.

When Lin Fan had been thinking about how to build up this network with his new position, the Poison King suddenly came to find him to show him something. It was a small book that seemed to contain all of the different contracts that he had formed with others.

The Poison King showed Lin Fan the right way to collect favours from others so that he would be able to use them in the future.

It even seemed like the Poison King had been quite proud of Lin Fan for everything that he did when he showed him this book.

Lin Fan naturally learned a lot from the Poison King because of this, but it wasn’t as if it would be perfect since it was his first time. The Poison King also recognized this and left Lin Fan alone to do what he wanted.

“Young master, there are two more people that want to meet you.” One of his subordinates suddenly said from behind him.

Lin Fan gave a nod before saying, “Keep them occupied for a bit. I’ll go check on the garden before I go and see them.”

That subordinate nodded before heading off to take care of his order.

When Lin Fan reached the garden, he looked at it carefully and said, “It seems like I still have five more spaces to fill before it’s over. Then they’ll have to wait for the next growth cycle before I can take any more orders.”

In the end, the most important thing was the amount of space that he had.

The life energy that was needed to supply all of these plants wasn’t a problem since he had the Nine Lives Tree inside of him. With that Nine Lives Tree, he would be able to draw out as much life energy as necessary.

So the key factor was managing the amount of space that he had and then using it to its full potential.

After looking over the garden, Lin Fan went over to plant the seed that he received from Senior Brother Tian.

After planting it, he just released some life energy to nurture it before turning to leave.

After all, his Appraisal Eyes told him everything that this seed needed and he had already provided it. That was his second advantage when it came to taking care of plants.
