Chapter 1294: Receiving a position
“Ha, ha, ha, did you see all of their faces when you announced that you were our disciple?” The Fire Fist King was laughing loudly when he said this.

The Poison King didn’t laugh as loud as the Fire Fist King, but it was clear by the wide smile on his face that he was feeling the same way.

The others that were present just looked at them with polite smiles, but there were looks of envy that were in their eyes.

After all, it was hard for them to not be envious of the Fire Fist King and the Poison King.

Since they were the high ranking elders of the Heavenly Demon Sect, they naturally had the ability to see through the talent that Lin Fan possessed. They knew that he hadn’t shown everything that he possessed, but they knew that this was only natural since his opponents weren’t at the level where they would force his hand.

The elders were surprised to hear this, but they were also intrigued by what the Heavenly Demon said.

Even though they were a bit drunk from the wine, they were still able to easily figure out what the Heavenly Demon was planning by doing this. It was clear that the Heavenly Demon was trying to tie Lin Fan even more to the Heavenly Demon Sect.

This was something that they agreed with after seeing his talent and the things that he could offer.

“In light of his contributions, I think that we should offer him a position in one of the halls.”

The eyes of the elders all lit up when they heard this.

The one that seemed the most impatient was one of the elders with a grey beard.

“I think that he should come to our law hall. I think that with his abilities, he would fit in best at our place.”

This grey bearded elder was the one in charge of the law hall, which was in charge of keeping order in the Heavenly Demon Sect. Since it was in charge of keeping order, one could easily imagine the amount of power and influence that it had.

Lin Fan was certainly tempted, but that didn’t mean that he would agree right away.

After all, one should never accept the first offer that was made.

They all seemed to want to recruit Lin Fan.

In the end, the Heavenly Demon raised his hand and said, “I understand that everyone is excited about this, but we should hear his opinion as well.”

Once the Heavenly Demon stopped them, it seemed like none of them hesitated at all to look at Lin Fan. All of them wanted to hear what he had to say about this matter.

Lin Fan had been silently listening, but he couldn’t do that anymore with everyone looking at him.

Though the Poison King did reveal a faint smile when he heard this since he used to be the head of the gardening hall.
