We checked in without any problems and we were registered to our room which was a large suite at one of the higher floors.

Stepping into the lift, the sensors automatically recognised us and the lift automatically started its ascent to the floor where our room was located.

I looked at Mara, “You don’t suppose that our room might be located on the same floor as your family?”

She shook her head, “Very unlikely. They would most likely have gotten the very best rooms which would be in the top floors of the hotel. There’s no way they will settle for a simple suite like ours.”

I blinked at her before gesturing at us, “Our suite… Is big enough to accommodate all seven of us… They have six people… Shouldn’t our room be bigger?”

“No… Their biggest rooms consist of an entire floor at the very top of the building. There is no way they would have settled for anything less.”

Oh… I guess that’s Nobles for you. Or more specifically… Rich people.

The elevator dinged as it reached our floor, the doors opening to show the lift lobby that was literally just a wide space with a few lounge chairs placed there.

A corridor stretched towards the left to lead to the other rooms that were also on this floor with us.

If you ask me, it was honestly a complete waste of space since this was big enough to fit in at least two or three more rooms if they wanted to.

It probably was just a way for them to show off their wealth or something.

Wait a minute…

Over by the tables… Is that what I think they are?

I rushed towards the lobby where a counter was pushed up against the wall and a bowl was laid on top of the counter top.

I slowly reached my hand forward and picked up one of the items that was inside the bowl, bringing it up to my face to inspect it.

“This… Is this real?” I asked no one in particular.

In my hand was a round, red object the size of my fist with a short stem at the top.

I brought it closer and gave it a sniff before I bit into it.

It was an apple.

A real apple. A real, organic apple.

I turned back to look at the bowl that was basically filled to the brim with fruits.

If this apple was real… Then that pear, the strawberries, those grapes and even that banana too! Those are real!

I turned back to my girls and pointed at the bowl, “We can take this right?”

Mara nodded, “It’s part of the reason why this place is so exclusive and expensive, Captain.”

No wonder she said it was worth it!

I picked up the entire bowl and turned to my girls, “Let’s go then~ Where’s our room?”

Hey, it’s free organic food! Do you expect me not to take them when it’s just sitting there?

Sure, we already have fruits back on our ship and Lea was even growing them, but right now we’re not in our ship, ok?

With the bowl of fruits secured, we continued down the corridor where the rooms were located and we searched for the room that was assigned to us.

As we were heading there, one of the doors opened and a rather young looking man wearing a blue suit stepped out, the guy taking a moment to straighten his collar before he was joined by three women dressed in quite skimpy dresses following behind him.

He turned and saw us approaching and his eyes drifted down to the bowl I was carrying.

His lips curled up in a smirk before he turned to the girls behind him, “I can’t believe the standard of this hotel has dropped so much. They would really let beggars like this into the hotel? Imagine being such a loser that you would even take the bowl of fruit outside to eat.”

The three girls giggled at his joke.

“She must be a plaything for some other guy, dear.”

“Ehehe, she does look the part doesn’t she?”

“We have to be understanding of ignorant people~”

I ignored them completely and just strolled past them, taking another bite from the apple while I searched for our room.

The four of them continued to laugh while they headed for the lift, still mocking us as they went.

He can say whatever he wants but this apple is really good~

A few more metres down the corridor and we eventually found our room easily enough, my Codex having been guiding me to the exact door that automatically unlocked as soon as we got close.

The door slid open and we were immediately greeted with a full length window that looked out towards the city, giving us a completely unobstructed view of the cityscape below us.

Right now it is still ‘daytime’ but I believe once the station changes to ‘night’, the view here would be even more beautiful.

The window stretched all the way to the end of the room on the right where it led to a sitting room with several doors that no doubt would lead to the bedrooms.

They even had a fish tank built into one of the walls where several live fishes that I don’t recognise were swimming in.

Ries immediately caught sight of it and rushed to press her face against the glass of the tank.

“Boss! Boss!! There’s fish!! There’s fish!! Can we eat them?”

I chuckled, “Ehehe~ Those fish aren’t for eating, Ries.”

She tilted her head in confusion, “If these fish aren’t for eating… Why would they even put them here?”

I guess Ries has never seen a fish tank like this before. So cute~

“They are for decoration, Ries,” Yumiko answered for me. “Places like this usually use these as a display and not for food.”

Ries pouted and turned back to press herself against the glass, “What a waste… Just look at them swimming inside there… I could eat all of them…”

“I don’t think they are particularly tasty though,” I told her, looking at the rest of the room. “Relax Ries. I believe a place like this that would even give away fruits for free should also be able to serve fish. I hope their cooking is good~”

Oh. There’s another bowl of fruit here. I didn’t even need to take the bowl outside at all. I wonder if they would refill it if we asked?

I was just about to go check the rooms when Amber called out to me, “Tera? I’m going to step outside for a bit.”

I turned to raise an eyebrow at her, “Eh? What for? Are you going somewhere?”

“I thought that it might be a good idea to see what facilities this hotel has so I’ll go check them out first.”

“Eh? Then I want to come along too. With all this money we’re paying, I’m definitely going to make use of everything this place has.”

Unexpectedly, Yumiko came forward and grabbed my arm, her tail tucked in between her legs nervously.

“Umm… Umm… Mistress… I’m sorry but… I’ve been a bad girl and I really hope that you might punish me a little first…”

I blinked at her, “Eh? What happened to you? You can’t wait for tonight?”

She shook her head, “I got really hot all of a sudden, Mistress… I think it’s because you smell too good… I can’t hold myself back anymore…”

“Eh… Well… What about the rest of you girls?” I asked, turning to the others.

Mara smiled at me, “You can go ahead, Captain. I’ll go check out the place with Amber too.”

Lea nodded, “The same for me as well, Mistress. I believe Yumiko wishes to have some private time with you for once.”

Ries giggled, “I’ll go see if they have fish on their menu, Boss!”

“And I will check the surrounding area to make sure security is adequate, Daddy!” Renata told me cheerfully.

Huh… Why does it feel like my girls are behaving rather strangely for some reason? It’s like everyone suddenly wants to leave here for some reason?

Or am I just being paranoid?

My thoughts were interrupted when Yumiko hugged my arm and wrapped my arm in between her boobs, my dog girl bouncing up and down intentionally.

“Mistress… Please? I want… I want Mistress…”

Well… If you insist I guess?

I guess both of us would just go downstairs and rejoin them after I have thoroughly satisfied Yumiko then.

“Fine… I guess I’ll deal with this needy puppy of mine first and after that we’ll come find the rest of you so we could check out the city. How about that?” I suggested.

The other girls agreed and they quickly left the room. Almost too quickly like they were rushing somewhere for some reason.

I didn’t have time to think about why before I heard the sound of a zip being pulled down and I turned to see Yumiko taking off her top before she got down on all fours to start crawling towards me, her tail already wagging with need.

Guess it’s time for me to get to work~
