Chapter 3390: Signing Up For Tournaments
Martial Fist King World was famous for valuing combat. To them, strength was culture.

Meng Bai hugged himself. “There are too many categories.”

Cattaleya ignored him entirely. She turned to Lin Mu next.

“There is also the Great Fist King Martial Tournament. It happens only once every century. That is the crown jewel of all tournaments here.” Her voice lowered with excitement. “The strongest cultivators from all nearby worlds join.

Even the Martial Fist King Sect sends representatives. Maybe even their direct disciples. It is huge. A lot of body cultivators join, and the fights become famous for thousands of years already.”

Lin Mu nodded. He had heard of that one even when they had first arrived in this world. A once in a century tournament hosted by a major sect that was allied with the Immortal Court. It was the type of event respected across the region.

Cattaleya leaned toward him with a bright grin. “You should join it too.”

Lin Mu blinked. “Me?”

Meng Bai wore a face of someone who had just seen a priceless vase fall off a table. “Senior Cattaleya. You cannot be serious.”

She was completely serious.

“Lin Mu is also a body cultivator. And an extremely strong one. He has fought immortal Transcendents and Cursed beasts. You think he should sit out a world famous body cultivator tournament? Absolutely not.”

Lin Mu thought about it.

The truth was that he had rarely fought other true body cultivators outside of some common ones. Most cultivators relied primarily on qi. Even when he faced strong opponents in the past, body cultivation was only ever a secondary focus to them. Cattaleya herself was the only true body specialist he had observed fully.

Fighting body cultivators would give him insight. It would expand his perspective. It would let him test abilities without relying much on spatial skills. It could be useful.

Cattaleya saw his expression change and immediately pounced.

“So are you going to sign up?”

Lin Mu nodded mildly. “Why not? It could be interesting.”

“Excellent,” she said with a victorious laugh. “Then let us go right now.”

Before Lin Mu could say anything more, she grabbed his arm and started dragging him through the inn’s front door. Meng Bai yelped as she grabbed the back of his collar with her other hand.

“Wait, wait, wait,” Meng Bai sputtered. “Why am I going too?”

“Because you are also in tournaments and I want to make sure you do not forget to sign the forms officially,” she replied with absolute confidence.

Daoist Chu, who was eating fruit leisurely, called after them. “Good luck. Do not forget to breathe.”

The city outside was lively and loud.

Martial Fist King World truly felt like a realm built on the culture of combat. Flags depicting fist marks, palm imprints, dragons, tigers, and all sorts of combat motifs were plastered everywhere. Shops advertised weighted training clothes. Streets had open dojos where cultivators sparred. Even the air felt like it was vibrating with competitive energy.

Cattaleya marched forward like she knew exactly where to go. And she did. She had already scouted the sign up locations before.

There were massive registration halls specifically for the tournament season. The building they reached was an enormous stone structure shaped like a clenched fist rising from the ground. Lines of cultivators stood outside waiting to register.

Fortunately, with Lin Mu’s authority tokens, they entered through the fast lane.

Inside, dozens of counters displayed glowing signboards with the names of various tournaments. Some were for juniors. Some for wandering cultivators. Some for sect disciples. Some for independents. Some for specialists. Some for anyone.

Cattaleya marched straight to the combined registration counter.

“I have already registered myself. Now I need to add Lin Mu.”

The clerk looked at Lin Mu with curiosity, then nodded.

“Name.”

“Lin Mu.”

“Realm.”

“Fifth Tribulation Stage.”

The clerk’s hand paused for a moment. “Are you certain you want to enter the Great Fist King Martial Tournament? That one draws powerful body cultivators. Some are veterans with centuries of experience.”

Lin Mu nodded calmly. “I am certain.”

Cattaleya slapped his back proudly. “He is stronger than all of them. Sign him up.”

Meng Bai whispered, “She says that with too much confidence.”

Lin Mu merely smiled.

The clerk ignored the boasting and processed the forms quickly. “Registration complete. You will receive your entry token shortly.”

Cattaleya tapped her chin. “Lin Mu, do you want to join others too? Maybe the qi combat one or the mixed one?”

Lin Mu shook his head. “One is enough. If I enter all of them, I will not have time to observe.”

Meng Bai snorted. “If Master joined them all, there would be no winner left.”

Lin Mu shook his head gently. “That is not true. There are always surprising cultivators out there.”

Cattaleya narrowed her eyes slightly. “Are you being humble again?”

Lin Mu kept a straight face. “I am being realistic.”

Meng Bai whispered, “You are being both.”

The clerk handed Lin Mu two jade tokens. One for the tournament. One for identification.

Cattaleya grabbed both of them and shoved them into Lin Mu’s hand.

“Perfect. Now we just need to get Meng Bai’s token too.”

Meng Bai’s soul visibly left his body when she said that.

Lin Mu could not help smiling.

He knew the coming days would be chaotic.

But also very interesting.

After the sign ups were complete, Cattaleya immediately dragged everyone to the schedule boards hanging in the main registration hall.

The boards were massive formations with floating projections that shifted every few minutes as new participants joined. The crowds beneath them buzzed constantly, pointing at names, cultivation levels, groupings, seeds, ranks from previous years and more.

Lin Mu had seen tournament boards before, but the sheer scale of this world’s competition season surprised even him. Tens of thousands of names were listed just for the lower realm category alone. And this was only one outpost of the Eastern Immortal Court.

It took a few minutes of navigating the crowds before they located the display for the Great Martial Fist King Tournament. Cattaleya practically jumped when she found her name floating near the lower right corner.
