1976: A Night to Remember [Part 2] 1976: A Night to Remember [Part 2] Villain Ch 1976.

A Night to Remember [Part 2] She turned in a circle.

It was everywhere.

All around them.

Allen just stood back, hands in his pockets like he didn’t just casually drop one of the most romantic bombs of her life.

“What-what is this?” she asked.

“Mini projector,” he said.

“Portable.

Fast install.

Wireless.

They only had a few hours, so… it’s not perfect.

But I figured it’d be something.” Mila just stood there.

Flowers in her arms.

Skin tingling.

Heart full.

“You figured,” she echoed.

He gave her that half-smile again.

“Yeah.” She looked back at the display.

The lights moving across the walls.

The petals swirling at her feet.

The smell of lavender and city rain and Allen, all wrapped together.

And then she turned back to him.

“You’re not real,” she muttered.

He grinned.

“Don’t say that.

I work really hard to be this smooth.” She stepped toward him, bouquet in hand, and stared up at him.

“Why?” He frowned slightly.

“Why what?” “Why all of this?” Allen didn’t answer right away.

He just looked at her.

Long.

Quiet.

Then finally, he said, “Because you’re worth it.” Silence.

Her fingers curled tighter around the stems.

He stepped closer, one hand reaching up to cup her cheek.

“Because you’ve been through enough.

And I wanted you to know that not every night has to end in disappointment.” Mila inhaled sharply.

And then she did something she didn’t expect.

She kissed him.

Not soft.

Not gentle.

This one was raw.

This one had fire.

She kissed him like he was the answer to a question she’d never dared to ask.

Like her fingers had to memorize the line of his jaw.

Like his lips were oxygen and she’d been holding her breath for years.

He caught her, deepening the kiss.

His arms closed around her like armor.

His mouth was hot and demanding now, full of that heat she’d felt in the lounge.

He pulled back, breathless.

“Mila…” She pressed her forehead against his.

“Let’s go inside.” He didn’t argue.

Allen didn’t need to.

He just looked at her… really looked at her… and something passed between them in that silence.

Not hunger.

Not desperation.

But promise.

Like whatever was about to happen wasn’t rushed.

Wasn’t casual.

It was deliberate.

Intimate.

Dangerous in that quiet kind of way where every second made your skin buzz.

He reached out, took the bouquet from her hands without a word, and placed it gently on the low table near the bed.

Then turned back to her.

She hesitated.

Just a little.

Not because she didn’t want this.

But because it felt big.

Real.

Like once she crossed this threshold with him, there was no going back to safe glances and sarcastic banter.

No more pretending she wasn’t already in too deep.

Allen stepped forward, his fingers brushing hers.

“You okay?” he asked.

She nodded.

But her breath gave her away.

Allen watched her.

That calm, sharp gaze never wavering.

Then he reached up slowly, fingers trailing along her jawline.

Not fast.

Not greedy.

Just… precise.

He tilted her head slightly with two fingers and leaned in… But didn’t kiss her lips.

His mouth dipped to her neck instead.

Warm.

Slow.

A brush of lips just below her ear.

Then another kiss, lower this time, right where her pulse stuttered.

Mila’s breath hitched.

“Allen…” He didn’t answer.

Just kissed her again, open-mouthed now.

His lips dragged across her throat, his teeth grazing lightly over sensitive skin, just enough to make her knees falter.

Then his voice came.

Low.

Rough.

“You can push me away,” he said, each word slow and heavy against her neck.

“If you don’t want this.” She didn’t move.

Didn’t pull back.

Didn’t even blink.

Instead, her fingers found his shirt.

Clutched it.

Her voice trembled.

“Don’t stop.” That was all he needed.

The next second, his hands were on her waist, dragging her closer.

Her back met the nearest wall of glass with a soft thud, cool against her skin even through the fabric of her dress.

He pinned her there, not with force.

With presence.

His mouth returned to her neck, kissing, biting, claiming.

Her eyes fluttered shut as his hand slid lower, fingers brushing her thigh.

He didn’t rush.

He wanted her trembling.

He wanted her aware of every breath, every inch he touched.

And he got it.

Her hands moved too, slipping under his blazer, fingers flattening against his back.

His muscles tensed under her touch, but he didn’t stop kissing her.

Didn’t stop trailing his mouth down to her collarbone, lips wet and hot, tongue flicking against her skin like he already owned her.

She gasped when he tugged the strap of her dress off her shoulder.

Then the second strap.

Her chest heaved.

“Allen…” He looked up at her then.

And that smirk… Dark.

Hungry.

Confident in a way that made her thighs clench and her heart scream.

“You afraid?” he said softly.

“No…” She flushed.

“But I know you’re a menace.” “Say that again when I’m done with you,” he murmured.

His hand slid up her thigh, slow and rough all at once.

His fingers toyed with the edge of her dress, then slipped underneath.

She grabbed his arm instinctively, half from panic, half from need.

He paused.

Gave her one last out.

But she didn’t say stop.

She pressed her lips together.

Swallowed.

Then nodded.

And Allen moved.

He pulled her away from the wall, turned her slowly, and walked her backwards toward the bed.

Every step she took was shaky.

His hands never left her body.

His fingers grazed the bare skin of her back.

His mouth returned to her neck.

“You’re tense,” he whispered.

“Not used to being…” she trailed off.

“Touched like this?” he guessed, eyes sharp but unreadable.

She nodded once.

He leaned in again, voice darker now.

“Then let me teach you.” She didn’t answer.

Didn’t need to.

The backs of her legs hit the edge of the bed.

Allen guided her down.

Sat her first.

Then knelt between her legs, hands dragging up her thighs like he was sculpting her from memory.

His lips brushed her knee.

Then higher.
