Chapter 1393: Iy’yra’s Evolution (2)
The spiritual energy in the air was steadily rising, from the Duchess to the Princess rank, signalling that Iy’yra was still ascending.

Orion readied himself, prepared to intervene should anything go awry as she reached Queen rank.

Then, dense vortexes began to form in the surrounding space.

Spirit Wells!

Orion recognised them instantly.

A surge of abundant spiritual energy poured forth from the wells, saturating the environment. Then, suddenly, the petals and the swirling wind vanished.

Wisps of divine law materialised in the air around him, glowing in hues of azure and white.

Orion immediately recognised them, the divine laws of wind and ice. Just as when he had first entered the White Flame Cosmic Tree’s dimension, these laws had been drawn to Iy’yra’s evolution.

The divine laws began transforming, condensing into spirit laws of wind and ice, merging with her very being.

In that moment, Orion’s hopes soared as his belief that Iy’yra could ascend to the rank of Transcendent Spirit Beast reached new heights.

…

A dimension in the White Flame Cosmic Tree,

Nazelita could never understand the absurdity of her life.

Despite her prowess, she still couldn’t understand how her mother, an Omnithriallian, the second greatest race in existence, had decided to play a prank on a human, a race of their own creation, by birthing her from her own essence.

Others never understood, but they failed to see it from her mother’s perspective. Having inherited a few of her mother’s memories and fragments of her life essence, she knew.

Nazelita sighed as she thought about her father.

He was truly an extraordinary man.

Apart from her, several of her siblings were equally rare, unique, wondrous creations who were destined to create marvels in the future.

Despite being only ‘human,’ it was impossible to find anyone else like him.

Even she couldn’t decipher the mysteries behind Orion’s fertility, nor how he wielded such incomprehensible power.

Nazelita exhaled softly, pushing the thought to the back of her mind and turning her focus to the scene before her.

Grace, Anara, Dariya, Fiona, and several of the women of Orion’s divine household were covering the soil with shovels of varying sizes.

Nazelita had suggested that they use their powers, but they refused. They insisted on digging and covering the earth themselves. These were their true bodies, not manifestations of their tri-omnitriats, which were essentially no different.

Nazelita knew it had something to do with the instincts they had cultivated before their ascension. After all, they had become true gods in such a short time, without gradually easing into the tremendous weight of such power.

It was no different from the true gods in the other dimensions who chose to take a leisurely walk, despite being able to traverse entire realms instantaneously.

Nazelita understood that, with time, they would shed these lingering habits.

“All done,” Anara said.

“Go ahead,” she gestured toward Grace.

Grace’s eyes sparkled with excitement. She stepped forward, placing her hand gently over the soil. Instantly, countless grains of golden sand poured from her palm onto the earth.

The sand shimmered with radiant golden light before sinking into the soil and vanishing from sight.

“Oww… we’re done. How did I do, little sister?” Grace asked breathlessly, turning to Nazelita.

“You were amazing,” Nazelita replied with a smile. “We still have several more dimensions to go.”

They were currently travelling from one dimension to another, planting seeds crafted from fragments of the White Flame Cosmic Tree’s branches. These seeds would give birth to future mysteries within each dimension.

At first, Nazelita had worried about the sheer effort required to carry out this task. But after learning about her elder sister’s divine gift, creating golden soil that could multiply and magnify the yield and potency of anything planted within it, she sought her help.

With Grace’s strength as a true god, the soil’s effects had risen to unfathomable heights.

Needless to say, Grace and the others had been more than eager to lend their aid.

It wasn’t that Nazelita couldn’t do it herself, but as a living embodiment of Mysteries, her strength was already stretched thin. She had to maintain constant watch over the gods within the White Flame Cosmic Tree as it expanded into the endless void.

The mysteries being sown into the dimensions were extensions of her essence, extensions that, once matured, would ease her burdens in the future.

Although they had decided to work for free, after this, she was obliged to show them the steps in creating their own race.

Creating a race might seem simple, but it was far from it; it required not only an understanding of the laws they had mastered, but also the ability to break down vast portions of the mysteries of the cosmic structure into simpler forms that a mortal body could hold.

For ancient gods, it was different. While in heaven, they could see and understand the mysteries of the cosmic structure directly, making it far easier for them to create a race from the top down, to interact with them directly.

This was why races often shared a distinct similarity when they ascended to godhood or true godhood, and why each race possessed varying degrees of potential compared to others, both in their physical forms and metaphysical states.

However, after descending into mortal vessels, they had lost fragments of their heavenly memories and deep understandings of the primary cosmic structures.

Each cosmic structure was unique. The more precise the understanding of a structure, the better it can serve as the foundation to nurture a race and unlock its hidden potential.

This was precisely why the humans possessed such overwhelming potential. The Omnithriallians had managed to seal away their latent abilities until exposure to the various ranks of magical energies forced those powers to awaken.

It was also why Margona had been diligently studying the mysteries of Paradise.

And why Greta hadn’t been able to create her own race yet.

Despite being able to create clones indistinguishable from a living being, and despite being the best candidate to make her own race second only to Orion, she had yet to do so. Unless she intervened directly, her creations would result in endless replicas: clones birthing clones, with no meaningful differences.

Greta could, of course, use the foundations of existing races as a basis for her own, just as Naka had done with their ancestors. But in that case, it would no longer be her race.

It would simply be a branch, a variant of an already established race. That was imitation, not creation.

If even Naka had failed to build a perfect race after all this time, and if his countless achievements could be reduced to little more than Vylkr spawns and other aberrations, then it was clear that creating an actual race was far more than shaping flesh and blood.

It was the forging of beings capable of bearing mysteries.

So, it fell to Nazelita, as their tutor, to personally guide them and show them the way. As for whether they would succeed or not, that depended heavily on their abilities.

“Since we are done here, let’s go—” Just as she was about to finish her sentence, a thunderous sound, like the beating of a heart, resonated across the dimension.

BADDDUMM!! BADDDUMM!!

The women froze in shock at the sudden occurrence.

“What’s happening? Are we under attack?”

“I don’t think so. I think something might be wrong with the Cosmic Tree!”

“It’s difficult to pinpoint where the sound is coming from. It feels like it’s coming from everywhere!”

“Nazelita, do you know what’s going on?”

“Everyone, calm down,” Nazelita said quickly, blocking the sound from spreading into the outside dimensions filled with countless inhabitants. She didn’t want panic to spread among them.

“I’ll look into it. In the meantime, let’s return home first.”

The moment she finished speaking, her vision split, allowing her to both accompany the women back to their dimension and observe what was transpiring outside the metaphysical plane of the White Flame Cosmic Tree.

What she saw stunned her.

White petals, wreathed in flickers of white flame, revolved around the White Flame Cosmic Tree. The heartbeat-like resonance came from the petals themselves.

While only a few had gathered around the tree’s base, their numbers steadily increased as they slowly ascended toward the centre of its colossal trunk.

Nazelita had no idea what was happening, nor could she believe such a scene was truly unfolding before her.

How?

Her gaze shifted and then locked onto a lone figure hovering within the metaphysical space, calmly observing the spectacle surrounding the Cosmic Tree.

Her father.

“What’s going on?” Nazelita asked, her tone filled with curiosity.

The petals carried traces of his aura, and also a second aura that was similar to Zymera’s, yet distinctly different.

She usually avoided surveying her father’s or family’s actions too closely, respecting their privacy. But the moment any crisis arose, she would always be alerted.

Orion immediately heard her voice echo in his ears. Since he was already expecting her, he wasted no time in explaining the situation to her.
