Chapter 1388: Iy’yra’s Decision
“So, what do you think?” Celeste asked.

She knew Orion would accept, given the current situation, but she wanted to hear his reasoning.

“Considering I’ve accepted several Spirit Beast women through similar bargains, I don’t see any reason to reject her offer,” Orion responded.

“Compared to the others who possess more connections and valuable resources, someone loyal is precisely what we need right now. We’ve known Iy’yra for a while and are clear about her character.”

“In fact, with our current situation, she might be the best candidate for the next evolution.”

“You’re right. Does that mean we’ll have our own Transcendant Spirit Beast very soon?” Celeste asked curiously.

Orion’s lips broke into a smile.

“I think so. But we shouldn’t get our hopes up just yet. After all, no one has ever helped a Spirit Beast break through her limits and evolve to the Transcendent Spirit Beast Rank by getting them pregnant,” he replied.

“If any issues arise, then they should at least be able to evolve to the King Rank.”

Although he anticipated that, at the very least, a Spirit Beast should be able to ascend into a Transcendent Spirit Beast now that he was a true god, if anything went wrong, they could still reach the Queen rank.

This was the reason he had accepted the fifteen Spirit Beast women during the bargain.

Depending on how many managed to ascend, they would either way have a large number of Transcendent and King-ranked Spirit Beasts within the Paradise ranks.

“But just because no one has done it before doesn’t mean you can’t do it, brother,” Gina said with a mischievous smile.

“Although this is a matter that should be left open until it actually happens… after everything we’ve been through,” Greta added with a nod, “I’m certain you can easily accomplish a feat no one else has, especially this kind.”

Not long ago, the potency of Orion’s seed could perform wonders, including achieving a 100% pregnancy rate in aged women long past their fertility years.

And now, he was capable of causing even mortals to ascend to true godhood, and Spirit Beasts to break through their natural limits. Yet, they still didn’t fully grasp what he was truly capable of.

Celeste chuckled, clearly in agreement with their remarks.

“Although I think the household is already full enough, and I can’t take in any more daughters-in-law or sisters, I understand the need for this,” she said.

Fortunately, she and the others could now have Orion all to themselves, resolving 80% of the divine household’s concerns.

“I’d suggest we create another status below the concubines,” she added.

“Yes, you are right,” Orion nodded in agreement. “Let’s call them concubines-in-waiting.”

“Concubines-in-waiting. I love it. I’m certain Shani, Selene, and the others will be glad that they’ll have sisters who will be taking care of them from now on,” Celeste said.

“I also love it,” Gina added.

“Me too,” Greta echoed.

Although they could now handle whatever issues they had by themselves, having someone else carry the weight with them was an entirely different feeling.

“I’m also certain they’ll be happy about the good news,” Orion said. “We’ll leave the entire matter for them to handle at home.”

“I’ll see her immediately and take her to Paradise, so we don’t repeat what happened in the past, and draw more attention to ourselves.”

“That’s fair,” Celeste nodded.

“I’ll go get her.” Celeste stood up from her spot and walked toward the door.

Minutes later, she turned around and returned, Iy’yra walking quietly behind her.

Iy’yra quickly bowed her head to Orion.

“I wish to serve the Supreme Leader for as long as I live,” she said. “As long as I can have my revenge on the Celestial Spirit Court, the Spirit Beasts Coalition, and the Vylkr spawns for what they did to me and my race, I’ll do whatever you ask of me.”

Iy’yra gave up everything, understanding that she could never repay Orion for the strength he would give her to fulfil her vengeance.

Since the transformation would be permanent, just like with Zymera, she decided her decision would be permanent too.

“I accept your proposal,” Orion said. “Go and bid your friends and family farewell. We’re leaving for our home world immediately.”

Iy’yra felt a surge of excitement rush through her. She had never expected Orion to accept her so easily, especially after already receiving several powerful and beautiful Spirit Beast women who had attained forms similar to his.

Most surprising of all, he was willing to take her to his home world immediately.

Wasn’t that where Zymera was now?

Suddenly, a cold realisation washed over Iy’yra, quelling her excitement. She asked quickly, “Supreme Leader, will I still be able to return here?”

Zymera hadn’t returned since her evolution, and that event alone had drawn countless powerful Spirit Beasts to this location. If she ascended too, she knew it would only stir more chaos, possibly attracting another King.

That risked the safety of not only their territory but the surrounding regions as well, potentially jeopardising Orion’s plans.

Yet, the war against those she sought revenge on was about to begin. And she feared missing it.

“Of course, you will return,” Orion nodded. But he saw through her thoughts, and so he added, “If you ascend as quickly as Zymera, I’ll make sure to bring you back so you can have your revenge. But the two of you are different, so it’s worth keeping in mind that the result isn’t guaranteed.”

“You may remain in a state of evolution for an unknown period, long enough to miss the battle and lose your chance at revenge.”

He continued, “Or… I can lend you my strength and we’ll go deal with them personally. But if none of this is satisfactory, I’ll give you the chance to turn back now.”

Then he became silent. He wouldn’t force her to continue.

Iy’yra’s body slammed against the floor in prostration.

“The fact that you rescued us from our plight and opened our eyes to the vastness of the Spirit Realm is already more than enough for me. How could I dare to ask to borrow your power just to fulfil my selfish desires?” she said, her gaze filled with determination.

“I will not go back on my word. If I fail to take my revenge, then it simply means fate has not allowed it.”

“You don’t need fate to accomplish what you want. Just have faith that it will happen, and if it doesn’t, then I’ll personally delay the destruction of the Celestial Spirit Court, the Spirit Beasts Coalition, and the Vylkr spawns until you complete your ascension,” Orion said, pleased with her decision.

Upon hearing Orion’s words, Iy’yra felt her eyes grow wet. Tears streamed down her cheeks and defined jaw, wetting the floor beneath her.

“Thank you, Supreme Leader. I’ll forever follow your orders,” Iy’yra said, lifting her head to look at Orion. Her heart skipped a beat as their eyes met.

Iy’yra couldn’t remember the last time she had felt this way.

Badumm!! Badumm!!

This only strengthened her conviction. No matter what happened, her life was no longer hers; it belonged to the Supreme Leader, Orion.

“I’m ready to leave right now, Supreme Leader,” Iy’yra said.

She had already lost so many of her loved ones. That was why she had joined the rebellion against the Celestial Spirit Court. Those currently on the White-Winged Gryphons’ floating island were survivors just like her.

She saw no reason to go back and say her goodbyes. Besides, if everything went as planned, she would return, stronger than she was now.

“Before we leave, let’s make a proper contract,” Orion said.

He wanted to form a genuine Spirit Beast contract with Iy’yra rather than relying on the ‘Coin of Eternal Providence’, which he had used to get her pledge of allegiance.

It was necessary to prevent any unforeseen issues, such as her presence in Paradise being forcibly drawn back to the Spirit Realm or her running amok after ascending to the King or Transcendent Spirit Beast rank.

Although he trusted her, with such power within her grasp, he needed to be sure that she would never bring harm to Paradise.

Iy’yra nodded. “Your blood. Place it on my forehead, along with your palm, and we’ll forge a contract without a time limit,” she said.

Orion drew blood from his palm and placed it on Iy’yra’s beastly forehead, staining her white fur.

In an instant, both of their bodies were bathed in a brilliant white glow.

A mysterious message appeared in Orion’s mind.

After reading through the contract, which stated that he was the master and Iy’yra the servant for an indefinite period, unless he chose to release her, he accepted the agreement.

Despite forming Spirit Beast contracts several times already, Orion still hadn’t figured out the true secret behind them.

They remained deeply shrouded in mystery; even a true god like himself couldn’t replicate their exact nature.

This only made him more curious about the deeper secrets of the Spirit Beasts.
