Chapter 442: Chapter 441: Meeting Admon and his siblings again 3
“No! No! Please don’t abandon us! I’ll work hard from now on!” the man said while already on his knees begging Admon.

“Brother Admon, please don’t leave me behind. I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to push Reyna at all. Please let me go with you, I will certainly do anything!”

“No, my decision is final. We will be leaving the two of you here,” Admon said firmly.

“No, please! No! Right, Reyna! You are my best friend. You understand that I really didn’t mean to push you at all. You have to save me.

You can’t just abandon your best friend. Reyna, you should persuade your brothers,” Nia said in an obviously purposeful manner while looking at Reyna who was beside her.

Just by listening to what the girl was saying, Luciel already guessed what kind of friendship they had.

“Reyna! Don’t continue acting like an idiot. If you really speak a word for her, I’ll certainly open your brains to check what kinds of things she has fed into your mind!” Ian also said loudly while looking at Reyna with obvious tiredness and exasperation.

Ian probably warned his sister a lot of times but with repeated failures, he was obviously already tired of it.

“Ian, I’m not an idiot!” Reyna responded, then looked at Nia and said, “I’m sorry, I don’t have a best friend that would push me to my death. Please leave and don’t look for me anymore.”

“No! How can you do this to me?! You’re my best friend, how can you not save me at all? Reyna!”

“Ahh, the two of you can finally disappear from my sight from now on. This is great!” Ian said happily and was obviously too relieved that after he finished speaking he fainted.

“Ian!” Admon said, catching Ian who fainted and began falling after he spoke.

After Ian fainted, Admon carried him to where Reyna was, to let her take care of Ian.

Afterwards, Admon went to talk to the people from the two trucks.

It seemed that they were not actually teammates, but those two trucks were from the north base and were just out collecting supplies.

Admon went to talk to them to get their belongings and supplies, then left a bit for Nia and her father.

Admon also said that if the others were willing to take the two back to the north base then they were welcome to do so, since their cooperation had already ended anyway as soon as they were out of the town.

While Admon was busy talking to those people and moving their things out of the truck, Luciel turned to Reyna and Ian who were nearby.

“What’s wrong with him? He was just very happy a while ago and then suddenly fainted.”

“Ian had always been like this since he was a child. Once his emotions went to the extreme he would easily faint.

He’s usually alright, but if his emotions were too intense, after his outburst he would certainly faint.

It had happened to him a few times in the past and even though he would just faint and had no other complications, we were still careful not to agitate him.

But what happened to me triggered his outburst and it seemed that he was really holding back a lot of his feelings because of us. That’s why he fainted immediately after feeling relieved,” Reyna slowly said.

“Oh, I think you two were too good-natured, that’s why he is too agitated because of you guys,” Luciel commented, and Reyna didn’t say anything.

They’d only met for a while but because they were the center of the incident, Luciel had a good idea about the personalities of the three siblings.

Admon was a big brother who was very responsible and good at taking care of his younger siblings.

But he was so responsible and kind that he didn’t even let go of the two unrelated people that were leeching off him.

It seemed that because he felt he was still strong enough, he didn’t mind if the others weren’t doing much.

Reyna also seemed to be a strong person because she could still fight together with her brothers even though she didn’t have any superpowers.

She wasn’t spoiled and still went to kill zombies even though both of her brothers could already protect her.

However, she was also an idiot who believed her friend too much.

And she seemed to have been together with that girl Nia for a long time that she didn’t notice anymore that the other was just constantly instilling into her that they were best friends, and as a friend she should always help Nia out.

That was also why she nearly died because of it.

Both Admon and Reyna were obviously good, but they were too good, which made them easy to take advantage of.

So Ian, who wasn’t as good-natured as his siblings—meaning he wasn’t a pushover and could clearly see what was happening—couldn’t continue watching them be taken advantage of.

According to what he said a while ago, Ian had certainly warned and kept talking to his brother and sister.

But in the end he only managed to make them promise that after arriving at the north base, they shouldn’t be in contact with the other two anymore.

So in the end, when Reyna nearly died, Ian finally snapped and went a bit crazy because he had accumulated too many negative emotions caused by the two people who were leeching on them, and because of his brother and sister who didn’t listen to him.

Admon and Reyna certainly realized it, because when Ian was acting crazy they had complicated expressions and Reyna couldn’t say anything against his comment.

“Anyway, we have a doctor in our team. Want to let him check Ian out?”

“Really? I’m sorry for being too troublesome, we will repay it later. Please have a doctor check on him.”

Luciel nodded and called Nathan who was already walking over to where they were.
