Chapter 431: Chapter 430: Sun and Thorn’s communication
Afterwards, they continued talking until they finally got back to the road where the others were. When they arrived, Nina and the others were already preparing dinner.

“You really turned just before dinner,” Treyton said to Luciel, who went to sit down with him.

“And what’s with the walking sunflower?” Treyton said while looking at Sun, who was walking with Jane and Nichole who were still communicating with it.

As soon as they arrived, all those who were outside and saw them immediately focused their eyes on Sun because it is a walking plant.

They’re obviously more curious towards it than Thorn, who could just grow bigger and smaller.

And as soon as they arrived, Luciel also immediately heard Thorn, who was very excited when seeing Sun.

[[Oh! Another conscious plant! It’s someone like me! Hello there! What’s your name?]]

Thorn’s voice was very loud, so Luciel looked on top of their RV where Thorn had already grown bigger to greet Sun. “Your voice is too loud. Lower it a little.”

Sun was also obviously excited after meeting the same conscious plant as himself, so it left Nichole and the others and began rushing to their RV where Thorn is.

[[Waah! I can finally meet someone like me! Hello? Hello!]] Sun said while excitedly swaying his leaves.

As someone who could hear their voices completely, Luciel could hear how excited they were in meeting each other.

Since Thorn obviously couldn’t move, Sun tried to climb up on top of the RV on its own.

Unfortunately, it couldn’t move up because it didn’t have enough stalks and its leaves weren’t strong enough yet to really hold the stairs going up to the top of the RV. It couldn’t propel itself upwards as it doesn’t even have a lot of thick roots and long roots to help it up.

So, even though it was trying to move up, it couldn’t do it at all. In the end, it even ended crying.

[[Waaaaah! I can’t even climb up!]]

Seeing that Sun really looked miserable, Jane, who was nearest to it, made vines thick enough for Sun to stand on. When Sun was finally on it, she slowly raised it on top of the RV and placed it beside Thorn.

Luciel, who was actually the nearest person, and the one who had contracted it, didn’t care about it and just watched it happen.

He really wanted to see if Sun could come up with a way to climb up.

Unfortunately, it actually began crying loudly, which was very noisy.

If Jane hadn’t helped it, he would have flung Sun up on the RV roof with his vines and wouldn’t gently handle it like Jane did because of how noisy it is.

And when Sun was finally on top of the RV, the two conscious plants were excitedly introducing each other and seeing their circumstances.

They began noisily talking to each other, so Luciel, who could directly hear them talking, blocked his link with them for the time being because he didn’t want to hear them as they were too loud.

But it seemed that Jane, Nichole and the others were very interested in what the two plants were talking about. So, Nichole and Jane both went up to the RV and sat beside Thorn and Sun.

They asked if they could listen and share their conversation, and both of them obviously agreed as Nichole and Jane alternately broadcasted what they were talking about.

So, even though Luciel blocked the voices of Sun and Thorn, he still heard what they were talking about.

He didn’t bother stopping what Jane and Nichole were doing because at least their voices were better as they weren’t high tones which were filled with too much excitement and noise.

And at least the voices of Jane and Nichole weren’t directly transmitted to his brain; that’s why they’re better than directly hearing it from Sun and Thorn.

Sun and Thorn were apparently still discussing both of their experiences and what they knew.

Sun shared the life he remembered while staying in the botanical garden.

Which is mostly about some tourists visiting the botanical garden and about the gardeners that take care of it.

Then afterwards, when the apocalypse came, the botanical garden didn’t have anyone to take care of the plants anymore.

The plants in the botanical garden grew on their own and survived through the rainy days and extreme winter on their own.

Near the place where Sun was planted, there were two big trees, so thanks to them Sun was protected from too strong winds, rain, heat and other things.

And with the plant energy it was absorbing while awakening, it was stronger than the others, so even though it’s not a plant that has strong survival ability in severe weathers, it was still able to survive and managed to awaken its consciousness.

Sun also didn’t see any humans appearing before Luciel and the others came.

And apparently there were only a few zombies in the botanical, and they’re probably washed up somewhere so Luciel and the others didn’t encounter any.

As for Thorn, he also shared how he first lived somewhere and when the apocalypse came he was moved and was neglected in the corner before Luciel picked it up.

Then afterwards, Thorn shared what he saw while traveling with Luciel and the others.

Of course, Sun also asked about the people in the team, so Thorn began sharing what he knew about the people that were always with him.

Thorn first mentioned Treyton who was always accompanying Luciel. Basically, Thorn told Sun that it had only experienced going out of the north when Treyton was also present.

Well, Thorn also said that it only experienced being away from Treyton for a while, but he didn’t see much because he was always in the bag that Luciel carried.

Afterwards, Thorn mentioned the kids who were in the RV with him. Thorn kept praising them and saying that they were all intelligent and cute kids.
