412: Chapter 411: Awakened Cactus 412: Chapter 411: Awakened Cactus He was just asking about it so that he could have a better idea of how to deal with an incident that might happen in the future based on the novel he had read.

Treyton chuckled softly and whispered, “You’re improving.

It’s good that you’re getting more interested in my affairs.

If you have other questions, just ask me.” “What’s there to be happy about?” Luciel said, glancing at Treyton, who was smiling.

But Treyton didn’t reply and instead leaned in to initiate a deep kiss.

They separated before arousing each other, as both of them knew they couldn’t do anything since there were still people in their RV and most of them were kids.

Both of them stopped talking and simply went to sleep.

The next day, they started traveling early, and Luciel only woke up when they were already driving away from the gas station.

So, he ate his breakfast while listening to Camille, who had already begun teaching the kids in the RV.

Because Zam was mostly in their RV, Camille was also usually with them after they confirmed their relationship, except when he had to stay with Nathan and the others to discuss or learn more about treating wounds and other medical matters.

Of course, Camille would also go to other vehicles whenever he needed to check on patients.

Most of the time, he was in charge of teaching Ashlee and the others during their morning class, which usually lasted about forty minutes before the kids could play or do other activities.

Afterwards, Nichole and the other members who were in the RV would take over teaching or checking the kids’ assignments.

As for Camille, he was mostly in the passenger seat, staying close to Zam, who usually drove unless he had to discuss something with Treyton.

Of course, when Camille wasn’t training or was bored, he would also chat with those in the RV, and sometimes even bother Luciel while he was watching movies.

Luciel just continued eating while listening to the kids learning about body parts.

The kids in their RV were really doing their best to learn as much as they could.

It was the same with Astrid and the others, who were mostly staying in the RV with Nathan.

While they were on the road, aside from training, Astrid and the others were also learning survival and medical skills.

With Nathan in their RV, they mostly learned how to perform first aid for themselves and others in different circumstances, as well as how to identify different herbs.

As for their survival training, they were taught by different people, mostly Mia, Nate, and the others who were originally soldiers.

And since they had rescued a lot of people, they also requested help in creating better lesson guides.

According to Treyton, the school where they had rescued many people was considered one of the best in the region and consistently ranked among the top twenty schools in the country.

The teachers hired there were obviously skilled in their professions.

So, when they asked if they could do something to help the team, Treyton requested that they provide advice on developing proper lesson guides for the kids in their team based on their aptitudes.

With the help of those teachers, they made lesson guides that would be enough for the kids to learn for up to six to nine months, depending on how busy they would be.

Of course, the lessons were still focused on survival, and they didn’t include anything that couldn’t be used practically.

When they submitted the lesson guides they made, Luciel was there, so he also flipped through one of them and saw that they had properly divided what the kids could learn daily.

When Calvin was with them, he was the one who made lesson guides for the kids, but since he was now busy in the research center, the others only made rough plans of what they would teach.

With the help of the teachers they had rescued, those rough plans were all properly arranged.

With proper guides, it became easier for those teaching the kids, as they already had a clear idea of what they should be teaching currently and what they would be teaching later on.

Seeing that they were on break, Luciel gave them another melon that he had just grown for himself to eat as dessert.

After eating the melon, Luciel didn’t immediately start playing games or watching movies.

Instead, he just stared outside while holding the cactus he was taking care of in his hands.

They were passing through a hill with a lot of plants, there were even many big trees that showed how long they had been standing beside the road.

He was paying attention to the plants outside because he wanted to see if there were any useful ones he could collect along the road, or if they might encounter some mutant plants.

However, he wasn’t lucky.

Even after passing through the hills, he didn’t see any useful plants he could use, nor did he encounter any mutant plants at all.

Of course, he was hoping to meet mutant plants like Mr.

Acacia, but encountering plants that would soon become mutant plants would also be good.

Unfortunately, their luck wasn’t good, as they didn’t encounter anything.

He had been hoping to encounter mutant plants because, after waking up, he felt that the cactus he was taking care of was already awake.

While paying attention to the plants outside, he had also been inputting some plant energy into the cactus to try to talk to it.

But the cactus seemed to still be processing the memories it had received, because whenever he channeled his plant energy to it, the cactus only conveyed one word repeatedly, “later.” It kept saying “later, later, later” every time he tried talking to it, about every thirty minutes.

So, after two hours, Luciel stopped trying and planned to check again in the evening.

He put down the cactus and didn’t bother inputting any more plant energy into it like he used to, since it was already awake and absorbing the surrounding plant energy on its own.
