410: Chapter 409: Experiences of Cloud’s team 410: Chapter 409: Experiences of Cloud’s team They were discussing a lot of things that happened to them, so Luciel didn’t miss what happened when he was asleep.

Hearing that dinner would soon be ready, Luciel went out of their RV while stretching.

When he went inside the gas station, he saw most of the members gathered around Treyton and he also saw the teammates of Cloud around him.

They were sharing what they had experienced with others in more detail, and it seemed that he had just arrived at a good time as it was already the turn of Cloud’s team to share what they had been through.

Cloud’s team was telling what they had experienced in other places that Luciel and the others hadn’t been to, so Luciel went to sit next to Treyton and listened to what they were saying.

He was also interested in knowing more about what others had seen and encountered in other places.

Luciel had listened when Treyton and Cloud were talking in the morning, but most of what Cloud said was just a very brief summary of what they had really encountered, so the information he got was also limited.

Now that they were going to talk about what they had encountered, it was a good source of information.

According to the names of the places that they had mentioned, the place where Cloud’s team had been was in the southeastern part of the country that they were in.

So, they began telling their stories about the southeastern part of the country that they were from, and Luciel and the others learned that Cloud and the others hadn’t encountered any bases as big as the North base.

Most of the bases that they had encountered were small and medium-sized bases if compared to the size and population of the North base.

But they also said that there were more small bases than medium-sized bases.

They said that sometimes a lot of small bases were near each other because of the resources in the area.

Wherever there were warehouses that weren’t near the center of the cities or very populated towns, most of them would be occupied as bases by those people.

Where there were a lot of resources, there would be more bases, and if there were no people from the government in that area to set up medium-sized bases, those areas would be claimed by small bases led by people who were more capable than others.

Cloud’s team even mentioned that those small bases that were near each other would often engage in physical fights against people who weren’t from their base when it came to snatching supplies.

It even became worse when people with abilities appeared.

The leaders of those bases would fight and try to snatch more people with abilities to be in their bases.

According to Cloud’s team, before the level 2 and level 3 zombies appeared, most of the casualties in those bases were caused by people from other bases.

In fact, two of their members who were siblings were victims of such human infighting because they had abilities.

If Cloud and the others hadn’t appeared, they might have separated and been forced to fight each other later on just because of the interests of those leading those bases.

Most of the places they had been to were more chaotic than the bases that Luciel and the others had seen during their missions.

And most of the small bases were also not fair in giving out the things that were supposed to be the share of the people in their bases, especially the supplies gathered from outside.

Most of the small bases also didn’t treat ordinary people properly and exploited them a lot.

So the lives of ordinary people in those places were terrible.

They had even encountered a small base with a leader who acted like a king, treating people like slaves and letting them live worse than animals.

Fortunately, the number of capable people in that base was less than thirty, so Cloud and his colleagues cleaned it up and let those ordinary people choose what they wanted to do afterwards.

In those places, the medium-sized bases set up by former government officials, police, or military personnel were all better places to stay, especially for ordinary people.

Of course, there were also small bases that treated the people staying there properly.

However, the number of such bases was fewer than the number of small bases that treated others unfairly, and most of those better bases were established by capable people who didn’t want to have too many restrictions or follow the rules set by those in power.

Well, there would certainly be a lot of capable people like that.

In fact, if Treyton didn’t have a powerful family in the North base, based on his personality, he would surely establish a base on his own even if it started as just a small one.

Afterwards, Cloud’s team continued telling them how most bases they had encountered treated people with abilities and ordinary people.

They also told them about the attitudes of most people they had met along the way.

According to them, most of the people they met would become wary and fearful after knowing that someone in their team had abilities.

But some people weren’t afraid of those with abilities.

In fact, they were so envious that they despised them.

Because of that dissatisfaction, they mistreated people with abilities and forced them to continuously use their powers for their benefit.

According to Cloud’s team, when they encountered such a group before, they might not have escaped if they hadn’t been trained to resist psychological manipulation.

They had actually come across a team with three psychologists who had twisted minds.  They even said that the skills of those three psychologists were very good.

That’s why they managed to rope in many people with abilities and treated them as slaves.

Fortunately they had strong wills and managed to fool those 3 psychologists and let them believe for a moment that they had succeeded in fooling them and took the opportunity to deal with them.
