Chapter 243: Chapter 243: The Wielder Of Chaos
Damian looked at Freya as he spoke. “I have some things to deal with in Biblical Heaven, but before I go, I wish to solve your problem in Fólkvangr.”

“Yes…” Freya replied with a bright smile as a gate opened, leading to the world of Fólkvangr, the smallest of the Norse worlds, which belonged solely to the goddess Freya.

At least, that’s how it was supposed to be.

The control-freak god Odin didn’t like Freya having her own world, so he made sure she could never fully utilize it by sending half of the souls that were meant for Valhalla to her domain, turning half of her world into a heaven.

Even though only virtuous souls ended up in her world, Freya still disliked the fact that she had to share her sanctuary with millions of souls.

Damian had promised her that he would solve that problem once he killed all the Norse gods.

Walking through the gate, Damian, Freya, Hela, and Frigga appeared in Fólkvangr, right in Freya’s palace.

As soon as they arrived, they could hear hundreds of thousands of voices whispering all at once. Even though the souls were far away, the whispers reached them as if they were right beside them.

“No wonder you hate Odin. He made your home so unpleasant… I’m surprised you haven’t had a breakdown. I know I would have,” Hela muttered, visibly annoyed by the constant noise of the souls.

“Can you really do it, divert the souls of the virtuous back to Valhalla?” Frigga asked.

She couldn’t help but doubt it, even after everything she had seen Damian accomplish.

He hadn’t even achieved godhood yet.

How could he possibly manage such a feat, even if he was the progenitor of many races?

When Odin diverted half of Valhalla’s virtuous souls to Fólkvangr, he had done so by paying a hefty price to one of the oldest beings in the entire universe, Yggdrasil, the World Tree.

So, unless Damian had a way to pay the World Tree such a price, there was no way he could fulfill the promise he made to Freya.

At the same time, Frigga didn’t doubt his resolve.

She just didn’t understand how he would do it, but she was certain that he would find a way to keep his promise to the goddess of love.

From what she had observed, Damian wasn’t someone who made empty promises, nor the type to speak with such confidence unless he had a plan.

“Let’s see…” Damian closed his eyes and seemed to concentrate deeply.

A few minutes passed, and then suddenly the noise of the souls vanished completely, as if they had never existed.

The goddesses’ eyes widened, especially Frigga, who had doubted that he could really do it.

“Y-you actually did it?” Frigga gasped as she spread her divine sense throughout Fólkvangr.

She discovered that Damian had done exactly as he promised: he sent billions of virtuous souls back to Valhalla and even altered the cycle so that no more virtuous souls would end up in Fólkvangr.

“How did you… do it so easily? Unless you’ve been granted Special Authority by the World Tree, Yggdrasil, which…” Frigga trailed off as she noticed a small smile forming on Damian’s face. “You do, don’t you?”

“How do you think I’ve been traveling between worlds as I please and even granted my wives the authority to do the same?” Damian replied with a smile.

He continued, “But you’re wrong about one thing, I didn’t get my authority from the World Tree. I use my own authority to do what I do.”

“I… I didn’t know. How do you have such authority?” Frigga asked in disbelief.

“You’ll know soon enough,” Damian said simply.

Then they left the palace.

Their figures blurred, and in the next few seconds, they reappeared hundreds of kilometers away, in the area where the souls had once gathered.

“Even though the souls have disappeared, their remnants still linger in the environment. It’ll take at least a few hundred years for it to return to its former beauty,” Freya said with a sigh.

Her world, Fólkvangr, was also known as the World of Gardens.

It had once earned that name because it was literally a world of breathtaking gardens, rivers, mountains, herbs, and endless greenery tended by fairies and spirits.

It was one of the most beautiful worlds in the universe.

But after Odin diverted half of Valhalla’s souls to Fólkvangr, he also brought a unique energy known as Aurema into her world.

If Miasma was known as the energy of Hell, then Aurema was the energy of Heaven.

If Miasma was born from the damned souls and negative thoughts of Hell, then Aurema was born from the virtues and positive thoughts of Heaven’s souls.

They were counterparts, two sides of the same coin, representing the universe’s polarity: negativity and positivity.

Damian could feel the intense concentration of Aurema in the air.

It wasn’t quite as strong as in Biblical Heaven, but it wasn’t far behind.

That was likely because the mortal population within Norse mythology was much larger than that of the Biblical pantheon, meaning that the number of souls going to Valhalla was also far greater, resulting in a higher concentration of Aurema.

“Well, looks like I don’t have to go to Biblical Heaven after all,” Damian muttered.

“Didn’t you say you had something to take care of in Biblical Heaven?” Freya asked.

“Yes, I wanted to acquire the power of Aurema. I figured Biblical Heaven would be a good place since it’s filled with it, but Fólkvangr has so much Aurema that I can just siphon everything here.”

Damian’s figure blurred, and the next instant, he appeared in the area where Aurema was most highly concentrated.

“It’ll take me a couple of minutes to finish up. You can go rest if you want.”

“It’s alright, Master. I want to witness what you accomplish,” Hela said.

“We’ll stay too… it’s not like we have anything important to do,” Freya shrugged, and Frigga nodded in agreement.

“Suit yourselves, then,” Damian said with a smile.

In the next moment, he appeared at the point where the Aurema’s concentration was highest.

He sat cross-legged, and his aura of predation began to seep out in every direction.

Within seconds, he started absorbing every trace of Aurema around him.

In just a few moments, all the Aurema within hundreds of meters were devoured by him.

[A large quantity of Aurema has entered your system]

[Your talent, [World Tree’s Avatar], is taking effect]

[You have gained attunement to the energy known as Aurema]

Just like he had done with other energies, Damian began forming an energy core.

A pure white Aurema Core manifested within him.

[You have created the [Aurema Core]]

[Your Aurema increased: +400]

[Your Constitution, [Undying Battle King’s Physique] is taking effect]

[Developing a constitution to bring out the maximum effectiveness of Aurema…]

[You have developed the constitution, [The Heavenborn]]

But he didn’t stop there.

He began creating another core using both Aurema and Holy Essence.

The pure white Aurema and the silvery-white Holy Essence started merging into a single form of energy.

Within seconds, a milky-white energy filled with sparkling, colorless particles emerged, and a corresponding energy core formed.

[Your talent, [World Tree’s Avatar], is taking effect]

[Your talent, [Transcendent Harmony], is taking effect]

[You have merged the energies of Aurema and Holy Essence]

[You have created the energy, [Positivity Essence]]

[You have created the [Positivity Essence Core]]

[Your Positivity Essence increased: +400]

[You have developed the constitution, [The Emissary Of Positivity]]

Still, Damian didn’t stop.

He began circulating his energies to create another power, one equal in level to his Infinity Essence.

This time, he sought to merge three energies: Positivity Essence, Negativity Essence, and Nephilim Essence.

The Positivity Essence represented the primordial positivity of the universe, while the Negativity Essence embodied the primordial negativity.

Nephilim Essence, on the other hand, was formed by merging Holy Essence and Dark Essence, lesser reflections of those same primordial forces.

As the three energies made contact, they began tearing at each other and at him.

Cracks appeared along his skin, spreading like fractures across glass.

Damian, however, showed no concern.

It was as though the energies themselves sought to annihilate one another.

[You are attempting to merge energies that counter each other’s existence. This process goes against the rules of universal balance. Forcing them to merge may cause your existence to implode from within.]

Then, his talent began to take effect.

[Your Talent [Rule Breaker] is taking effect]

[Your talent, [World Tree’s Avatar], is taking effect]

[Your talent, [Transcendent Harmony], is taking effect]

[You have successfully merged the energies of [Positivity Essence], [Negativity Essence], and

[Nephilim Essence]]

[You have created the enegry known as [Chaos Essence]

A destructive golden energy, similar to his Infinity Essence but laced with particles of white, black, purple, green, and red that continuously blinked and exploded, manifested within him.

This energy was known as the [Chaos Essence].

Then, he began to condense this energy, shaping it into an energy core.

[You have successfully created the [Chaos Essence Core]]

Once the [Chaos Essence Core] was formed, Damian gained complete control over it.

In the next second, he started creating an energy circuit between the [Chaos Essence Core] and the [Infinity Essence Core].

Once the circuit was complete, the Infinity Essence became many times more powerful than before, as if it had absorbed the unique properties of the Chaos Essence.

[As an effect of Chaos Essence creation, your constitution is evolving]

[Your constitutions [The Emissary of Negativity], [The Emissary of Positivity], and [Instrument of Nephilim] have merged together to create a new, higher form of constitution that possesses all the abilities of the three constitutions]

[You have developed the constitution [The Wielder of Chaos]]

Just as he awakened the new constitution, an intense wave of energy burst from his body, sweeping across everything around him.

It was anything but gentle.

His presence grew exponentially, stronger, heavier, and far more overwhelming than before.

“He’s grown stronger again,” Freya muttered, her eyes wide.

“I knew he was far stronger than us, but now… I can’t even sense the ceiling of his power. His presence, it’s too vast to measure,” Frigga added in awe.

“Nothing too surprising. It’s Master, after all,” Hela shrugged, as if it were a simple fact.

“Could he have surpassed the level of a Primordial?” Frigga couldn’t help but ask.
