The SSS Ranked Villain's Return - Chapter 412
Chapter 412: Offers
“I see…” Neraxis replied with a wide smile as he pulled her closer and gave her a peck on the cheek.
Celina didn’t back away in the slightest, and in fact, turned her head at the moment of the kiss, which in turn made him kiss her directly on the lips.
The two indulged in the kiss for a few minutes, touching each other all over.
But neither made the first move.
Celina, because she was embarrassed and despite her tough exterior, was most likely as timid as Aurelia herself. That was probably how they became such good friends since Aurelia managed to slip in between Celina’s cracks.
As for Neraxis, he felt that by sleeping with Celina, he would be skipping all the happy steps that came before it.
In essence, they had known each other for quite some time, but only recently did they start to outwardly show their feelings for one another.
Because of that, Neraxis didn’t want to jump to sex, and instead, he wanted Celina to experience all that a relationship had to offer.
So like that, the two continued their kisses, which bit by bit became bolder. Even their gestures seemed to radiate lust, but alas, they knew the limit and firmly kept to it.
Therefore, when the sun finally set, their lips parted as they glanced at the sun’s final rays that illuminated this room covered in mirrors.
It was as beautiful as the first time he had seen it, and as expected, despite so much time passing on his side, he couldn’t help but appreciate the natural beauty while also sitting beside one of the most beautiful women he had seen in his life.
Alas, the last rays of the sun soon faded, and they were left lying on the comfortable mattress, sharing in each other’s warmth.
But he knew Celina was far from normal in terms of activities, so he decided to insert himself more into her life, since his own was quite dry and boring.
“Hey… I remember you used to be a bounty hunter. Is that still the case in the other continent?” Neraxis asked warmly.
She turned her head toward him with a smile and spoke. “I’m not a bounty hunter anymore. I don’t deal in killing… I just explore ancient ruins now alongside Aurelia and a few other girls.”
As much as he didn’t want to bring it up, he felt like he had to.
“And the Evangelists as well as the Eternal Night?” Neraxis asked.
She still has a grudge against her father, and I doubt it’s been resolved. She wouldn’t stop until she killed him, that much I’m sure of.
However…
“A couple of years ago on a seemingly normal day, people began to die. It was sudden and unexpected, but coincidentally, all the people who were killed belonged to the Eternal Night faction,” Celina explained.
“Their hearts exploded, or so Aella said. She wasn’t able to get a good look at the actual situation since the government took all the bodies away,” Celina added, her smile widening. “Among the people who were killed was my father. In fact, he had died only a few meters away from me, and what I didn’t realize was that he actually was following me around and mirroring my movements.”
She clenched her fists. “He was the person who had given me several tasks while I was working as a bounty hunter, and I could’ve sworn he was involved elsewhere, likely as a teacher at our old academy.”
Hearing that, Neraxis couldn’t help but let out a sigh.
Was their immortality tied to Lagus’s life force? If that was really the case, then it makes sense why they died shortly after I got rid of Lagus once and for all, Neraxis pondered, stroking Celina’s hair gently.
Yet despite her rather excited look, deep down, Neraxis could feel a genuine sorrow.
Even if he was a trash father, he was still a father to her, and while Neraxis couldn’t put himself in her shoes directly, the least he could do was not call her out on it.
“As for the Evangelists, they seem to grow controlled after the Eternal Night’s death. We’re not sure where they are or what they are plotting, however, in the last few years, they haven’t even uttered a single peep,” Celina explained, leaning back further into his chest.
Neraxis smiled and wrapped his arms around her, then spoke in a soft tone. “Do you want to go out?”
Celina let out a giggle. “I thought after all these hugs and kisses, we were already going out. But I guess it doesn’t hurt to go official… Am I your first one?”
“I’m sure you know the answer to that,” Neraxis replied gently, which in turn made Celina sigh.
“Evangeline, huh? Yeah… How about Aella? Have you two done anything lewd?”
Neraxis flinched slightly, and because of that, Celina managed to catch onto his ploy.
“So you did…” Celina mumbled in regret. “You met her after you met me, so I thought I could be the first in at least something, but she’s way bolder than me… I can see why you two might’ve done something.”
She wiped away a single tear as a resolute look appeared on her face.
“What did you two not do? I want to do it before you do it with her,” Celina said adamantly.
“Hmm… You’re thinking about it too much,” Neraxis replied with a chuckle. “The only thing we did is take a shower together. Aside from that—”
“You took a shower together?” Celina cut him off with a bewildered look. “Y-You… She’s bolder than I thought. V-Very well… How about we do something similar?”
Neraxis rolled his eyes. “You don’t have to try too hard. Just be yourself.”
His words weren’t meant to be very impactful; however, they made Celina freeze up, almost as if what she had just heard was akin to enlightenment.
She lowered her head and then gave him a different offer.
“…Do you want to explore an ancient ruin with me?”
