The Primordial Record - Chapter 1941
Chapter 1941: Hundun
Inside the Memory of Space, Rowan pushed on with unwavering conviction, as he knew that everything he was seeing here needed to be passed across to his main body so he had to be wary of risk, yet he knew if he did not push as deeply as he could, then what he could bring back to his main body would not be worth the effort.
The pressure was growing as he headed deeper into the past, but Rowan had suppressed all the growing fears and uncertainty about the fate of his body and the unknown nature of the enemy assaulting him, trusting that his plans had to keep him safe for as long as possible.
Realities around him had been reduced to hundreds, then tens, until there was a single one, and here Rowan stopped as he looked at the first Reality to exist. He did not know what to expect, but it certainly did not disappoint him.
One thing that Rowan had noticed as he reached the beginning of existence was the sheer size of everything. He was no longer surprised by this because at the beginning of everything, there were few laws that bound the material dimensions.
Sounds could travel faster than light, and light could move at a snail’s pace. The chains of laws that would later come together to create structure to all of existence were not yet born, and so, the first of the laws of existence to be born did not have any leash holding back their dominion, and they could grow as much as they wanted.
Rowan’s eyes lit up. This realization might not do much for him, but for his main body, it could be priceless knowledge. The main problem holding back the ascension of his main body was knowledge, as he still suffered from certain restrictions that ignorance was imposing upon him.
This seemingly random realization might just be what his main body needs to finally throw off his last shackles, but Rowan could not be sure. From the moment he could no longer sync all of his knowledge with his main body, there was a gap in his understanding of his affairs, and this epiphany might have long been understood by Eos, but Rowan knew it was still important.
“To reach our full potential, my main body must disregard all laws outside of it.”
Placing this realization aside, Rowan basked in the glow of the first Reality; every other Reality that came after it was still ridiculously massive, but nothing could compare to the size of the first Reality in existence.
The present size of Eos in comparison to this Reality was like comparing a single speck of dust to the universe… it was simply incomparable. If Rowan were to try to comprehend the amount of essence that must be flowing through this Reality at every moment, then it was enough to leave him speechless, because despite his great mind, it still took him some moments to calculate the numbers. It broke the concept of measurement even before he calculated past half the mass of this Reality.
How much power would Eos have if his body could grow to the size of the first Reality? Rowan had seen the new Primordials, and he believed that this Reality had a fair chance to defeat them all, even without trying hard.
The name of the first Reality came to him with a weight that spoke of its incredible connection to the birth of all existence and was Eos’s true Ancestor… The name was Hundun.
He knew that without the unknown intervention of the creator of existence, this single Reality would be the only reality in existence, and from it would be birthed all other Realities. Simply looking at its form, which in the eyes of the layman or anyone with no relation to Realities, they would simply see a massive pile of Primordial ooze that seemed to be filled with endless power, but what Rowan could see was a shape that resembled a child sleeping with his arms curled around his folded legs and his head resting on his knees.
Rowan recognized this position because it was similar to the position that Eos had before he was born, and he found it amazing that, despite the distance that separated Hundun and Eos, certain traits that connected them could not be broken, and looking at this nascent Reality, he felt as if he was looking at his roots.
He suddenly thought that it was Eos that should be here and not him, but something told Rowan that the setbacks he was facing by just bringing this Incarnation to the level of Primordial were nothing before what would arise if it were Eos pushing for the Primordial level.
Rowan looked at Hundun with sadness in his eyes because he could see that this Reality had yet to fully form, and he already knew what came next. Rowan resumed the flow of time in this memory, and he saw as the light of Hundun began to form out of nothing, but it did not waver for long; it was as if Hundun had always existed, and he was not formed from any element.
It made Rowan realize that what he thought was the creator of existence as he knew it was a flawed conclusion. Because now that he was at the ninth-dimensional level, he could see that Hundun had always existed, and in the distance, the being that he thought was the creator of everything, which was still a speck of light in the far distance, had not yet reached this place.
The last time that he had entered this memory, he could only see the light of the being with the wings, but he could not see Hundun, and so when those wings swept past him and then he began to see the lights of countless Realities arising around him, he began to think that it was those wings that led to the creation of all realities, but he was wrong.
The first Reality was already in existence, but it was not fully formed, and he could not see it, because his dimensional state was still too low. Rowan felt a chill when he knew that this was the reason he was not permitted to reach the ninth dimension… There were too many secrets hidden in plain sight, and without seeing everything, his enemies would be able to easily lead him down a path of falsehood.
Those wings, the being he called Enoch and believed was the creator of everything, were a sham… he had simply used what was already in existence
When the splitting happened, he almost did not see it, such was the speed of those wings, but he could hear the cry of pain before an awful silence followed, and Hundun was shattered into infinite pieces.
Those wings had torn the singular Reality apart, and then Rowan began to observe that from the passage that was left behind as those wings swept past, massive lines of raduance began to pursue those pieces of Hundun, and they poured power into it.
At first, Rowan was confused when he saw that the power that was being poured into all of these broken pieces of Hundun was so massive that a small fraction of it was given to the first Reality; it would have led to its development and birth, and this process here was a massive waste of resources.
Pausing his descent into the past, Rowan began to move back to the future as he observed the new blooming Realities, and he saw that as each new Realities were given the ability to hold the completed Origin of Space inside of them, something else was changing as well.
