Chapter 1937: Remember My Name (Final)
EOSAH’S REALITY (FIFTEEN SECONDS AGO)
The abomination rose in silence.
It had once been Eosah’s Reality, the final bastion of freewill left inside Limbo, and free from the madness that plagued all of existence. Rowan had done a good job taking care of this Reality even in its broken state, some might say, too good a job.
Now the abomination folded itself inside-out in hatred, collapsing every universe inside its new form until it became a single, writhing atrocity, fueled by a mind that was alien to all that existence stood for.
A billion arms of braided spacetime, each arm tipped with a claw made of frozen big-bangs; ten thousand heads that were screaming galactic clusters, with their mouths made from event horizons.
It had a torso of inverted causality where cause dripped upward into effect, and every wound birthed new wounds before it was inflicted.
And it arrived like the death of silence itself, before it attacked.
Telmus, the Primordial of Defiant Ascension, was the first to respond when the warped reality took shape and began killing Rowan. He could taste the stench of battle even before it began, but he was still too slow to determine where the danger was coming from quickly enough before Rowan’s body was blasted apart.
He raised his Spear of Defiance with a roar, and his Ebon Host, their number now reaching a few billion, poured into his spear until it glowed with a deep oily darkness that pushed out all light and radiance for trillions of light years, and, analyzing his target for a moment, he flung it towards the chest of this abomination.
Sheba, the Primordial of unbroken Horizon, quickly gestured towards the entity ahead of them and unleashed her Origin Domian to cover its entirety, but it barely lasted a moment before it was blasted apart. But she breathed a sigh of relief as her eyes widened with anger, and she turned towards Telmus.
The Spear of Defiance was aimed at the chest of the entity, but millions of arms rose up against it, and they were blasted to pieces, and more arms rose to hold back the spear in such massive numbers that from afar it almost resembled the many leaves of a tree being shaken by the wind.
Ten thousand faces screamed their rage, but their anger was nothing before the might of this spear that cleanly pierced through the arms of the entity, before striking its chest and bursting out from the back.
It stayed frozen for a moment before every inch of it collapsed into dust.
“Well, that was rather easy,” the Primordial of Victorious Genesis stepped forward, a bit upset that he was not the first one to make a move before Telmus crushed the danger that they had been warned might arise.
Sheba’s anger had not left her eyes as she growled, “There were countless lives left inside of its body; you could have held back your hand a bit before striking.”
Telmus nodded, acknowledging her anger, “I know you would take care of it, your domain is the greatest among all of us, and I anticipated your reaction… There was no time to warn you; I had to act.” his hand grabbed the returning spear and he turned towards Rowan’s location and saw that Rowan had already regenerated his entire body, but his eyes were closed, he was obviously still in the midst of his ascension, and even vaporizing his body was not enough to destroy him.
The Primordial of the Screaming Void, Noctis, spoke in a whispery voice, “I sense no passing from this space… that thing is not dead.”
As if his announcement was a sign, a million eyes of collapsed stars bigger than universes opened from the ashes of the shattered abomination and a terrible cry arose from it, and in a blink, its entire body had been reforged whole, although it was a bit smaller, but that was not even been considered as it took a step forward, its endless bulk crossing space and time, and it attacked.
It swung a billion arms in a single sweep. Each arm carried the mass of a trillion suns. The impact flash-fried the surrounding space, transforming it into a realm of red burning flames where the only thing left was the Road of Eternity and the ten new Primordials standing in front of Rowan.
Vraegar, the Primordial of Dawnforged Embers growled and flashed forward and took the blow on his chest, his body was still powerful even in his humanoid form, however, the force from the blow was so massive that it tore his torso in two, and a massive shockwave blasted out from behind him that nearly blew some of the Primordials away from the road, but Vraegar did not take a step back despite the grievous wound that almost split him in two.
Instead of blood pouring out from his wound, a blazing volcano of molten metal that was the embodiment of all treasures ever forged inside Reality blasted out. Without Primordial Memory, Vraegar became the storehouse of all nascent treasures inside Reality, even those that had not yet existed.
He laughed, a sound like tectonic plates mating, and punched back. His fist gathered all of his treasured blood and expanded it until it stretched for trillions of light-years, where it entered one of the Abomination’s mouths and detonated like the creation echo of a newly born reality inside its throat. The head exploded into a geyser of dark matter and screaming quasars.
The Abomination shrieked with nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine remaining heads, but its cries were cut off almost instantly as the rest of its head exploded, followed by its body.
However, unlike the first time where Telmus blasted it apart, the broken chunks of the abomination had not even fallen before multiple shrieks arose from it, and it reforged its body from its broken pieces in an instant, but now, every Primordial here could easily observe that it had shrunk.
Where once it had been the size of a multiversal cluster, it compressed into a mere supercluster. But compression made it stranger. New joints unfolded along its arms, joints that existed in four spatial dimensions at once. Eyes opened on the inside of its mouths. Gravity reversed in spirals around it, pulling the Primordials inward and threatening to pull the ascension Primordial, Rowan, from his feet.
“Not today, monster,” Mira, the Primordial of Blazing Benediction, answered its cries with fire that remembered being the first flame.
She became a comet of plasma larger than the observable hull of Eosah’s Reality and rammed the thing head-on. Her body detonated in a bloom of solar fury that peeled layers of reality off the Abomination like burning skin. Chunks the size of galactic filaments sloughed away, each chunk writhing into lesser horrors that scuttled across the Road on legs of dark energy before they were vaporized by the backwash of flames and vibrations radiating from the point of impact.
The Abomination shrank again, now only the size of a single galaxy, but its wounds closed by deleting the concept of distance between them. It learned to occupy the same point in space as its own severed limbs, reabsorbing them before they hit the ground.
Its heads began to speak in the language of dying laws of physics. Where the words landed, entropy went backward and forward at the same time; and the Primordials aged a billion years and then un-aged in the space of a heartbeat.
“Do you know who I am?… No, then a pause before ten thousand mouths whispered, “Then, you shall all remember my name as I carve it on your dying souls.”
