The Primordial Record - Chapter 1925
Chapter 1925: Shariel’s Surprise
Rowan did not have the time to deliberate on what he had seen before the vision of the beginning of existence was cut off, and his excitement only grew, because he knew this was just the beginning.
He had received great visions about the past from various sources, even from the minds of Primordials, but this was the first time that he believed he had seen the beginning of existence, and if this was the case, then it seemed that he could finally get the answers to the greatest mysteries of creation.
There was a reason why the Primordials would not let him reach the ninth-dimensional level, and apart from the power he was bound to obtain, the greatest reason would be knowledge; he would see what was behind the curtains without having to borrow the eyes of others.
Reaching the ninth-dimensional level meant that the past was no longer inaccessible, and since the Origin of Space extended back to the beginning of existence, it meant he would be able to access memories that emerged from this period.
His consciousness returned to his body, and he saw that his merger with the Azure Empyrean was complete. Technically, he was already a Primordial; however, since Rowan was still holding the door of his ascension wide open, this ascent could not be completed, and he was stuck with one leg firmly in the Primordial level and the other outside of it.
He was doing this so his observers, which included his main body and the Primordials watching him to learn as much as they could from this process, and he was, in fact, learning a lot too, but he knew that Eos was seeing much more than he was.
Rowan had a deep understanding of the Azure Empyrean, but he could not know the feeling of what it would be like until he embodied the concept and became the Azure Empyrean itself.
The Azure Empyrean was a field of endless creation potential, as a single seed planted in its endless fields could sprout into anything, and if he were to throw a grain of rice inside it, it would sprout to become a dragon. There were endless possibilities of creation at his fingertips, enough to rival even that of a Reality, and as much as he itched to discover all the possibilities he could do with this power, Rowan was not yet done.
Once more, he waited for a few moments, making sure that the observers had seen all that their consciousness was able to gather, and he pulled out the second level of the void from deep within him. Rowan called forth the Obsidian Abyss.
Above his right hand, where once there had been a green flame, a new flame appeared, and it was scarlet, but closer to the center of the flame, it became black.
At this time, more and more souls were entering the Road of Eternity, and all across Reality, countless billions of mortals who had been hesitating on the decision of pursuing the path of immortality had thrown away their hesitation ahd headed for the Road of Eternity, if not for anything, the rumors flying all around was that those whom their souls had been blessed had acquired bodies that were almost immortal.
This turned out not to be an exaggeration, as countless examples were now being displayed of people cutting off their arms and having them regrown in a few hours, to even more drastic displays by others who were at the Road when Rowan’s ascension began; their healing factor was even more ridiculous.
Unfortunately, many still missed the chance of acquiring this boon, even if they wanted to, because the act of connecting to the Road of Eternity as a mortal was not that simple.
The first and greatest requirement was for the individual to be on a process of changing the state of their bodies, and in that instance, the Road would be open to them. For mortals, this process was simple, but it would still require time and a bit of talent.
A mortal that was transitioning to a supernatural being by any method available to them would have to go through a process of familiarizing themselves with their cultivation technique, prepare the required materials, and then embark on the process of changing their state. So this delay in reaching the Road caused many to open their eyes upon the Road of Eternity for the first time, and could only watch in regret and shock as the massive green sun overhead slowly went down and vanished.
They could still feel the remnants of the pulse of vitality on the Road, and although this pulse of vitality was now a permanent part of this road, and they could slowly gain the benefit of enhanced healing and regeneration in time, it could never match the benefits gained by those who were here earlier.
Usually, this was where the event ended, and the esteemed Primordial would leave for the Origin Land, but today was destined to be different.
The glow of the green sun had barely died down when a scarlet sun with a heart of darkness roared to life overhead, and for the first time since this road was created, cries of pain arose from it as countless trillions were banished from it, not because they had been thrown out, but it was due to the fact that their souls could not handle the sudden influx of sheer power that this new sun had brought.
Shariel was an Angel, and he was a rather young Angel as he was barely ten thousand years old. Unlike in the past, when to be an angel was a status only given to the most faithful souls in the universes under the Celestial Domain, in this new reality, the path to becoming an Angel and all the subsequent evolution that came with it was open to all. But as always, it would depend on the talent and fortitude of the individual if they would remain an angel forever or become something more.
He was there when the Ascension of the greatest Celestial Creator to exist began, of course, at this time, even though Rowan did not advertise his deeds, his works, and many details about his life and his past were known to many, and it was the story of Rowan that pushed Shariel on the Pathway of the Celestial.
One day, he would be among the most powerful of Angels and not just serve under the Primordial of Revelation but also the Supreme Celestial Creator, and he would defend them against all the bad Primordials that were outside their reality and wanted nothing but to destroy the peace and prosperity created by the Supreme Celestial Creator.
For a mortal to select the Path of the Celestial required great talents because it imposed a lot of burden on the body and soul, and every level gained caused divine flames to erupt from the souls that usually consumed them to ash, and it was from these ashes they arose, stronger. This process was called Celestial Transformation, and Shariel had endured three Transformations and was hoping to get the fourth in the next million years.
Not many survived this process, and so the Pathway of the Celestial had few people on it, but the benefits of this Path were nearly unmatched, from their impossible speed, power and durability, an Angel stood nearly unequaled in the same rank, and now that the condition to forcefully serve a higher power ingrained inside their bodies were gone, the heavens was the limit.
Shariel had reached a roadblock in his cultivation, and he knew he could not reach the fourth Celestial Transformation until his soul was much stronger and he knew the best resource for this growth was the Road of Eternity, so sealing himself inside the core of his planet where he had millions of people that depended on him for protection and practically worshipped him, Shariel was determined not to leave until his soul was stong enough for the fourth transformation.
That was the reason he was on the Road when Rowan’s Ascension began, and he gained great benefits from the light of the green flame. He did not have to check; he knew that if he fully returned to his body and digested all the benefits that came from this sun, he would be ready for his fourth transformation in a decade.
Shariel was about to leave with the dying of the green sun when the second scarlet sun arose, and at first, he thought he was looking at a very angry red eye; then his soul began to burn with the same scarlet flame.
The pain was the greatest he had ever felt in his life, and he could still see in the distant, massive souls that made his own appear as small as an ant, even though the present size of his soul was thousands of feet tall, were wailing in pain and vanishing. Perhaps it was because he was an Angel and was a child of light and fire, and the three Celestial transformations he had undergone made it possible for him to endure, but he was the only one still remaining for millions of miles around him.
Still, it did not matter for long because his soul was still broken into pieces, and he had no option but to leave, yet he would never forget the fact that in the few moments he had endured the scarlet fire, his ephemeral soul began to transform into a tangible state!
“Was this not the soul state only a sixth-dimensional immortal was supposed to have?”
