Chapter 629: Poolside Delight?
Nerissa was in her room, meditating. The rhythmic rhythm of the house moving lulled her into a surprising sense of clarity as she consolidated her being. Her eyes then shot open in surprise and rushed to her feet and out of her door. As she arrived at her door and opened it, Apollo rushed out of his room, his body bare and covered in a black soot? as he jumped over the second floor balcony, into the living room. Nerissa listened as he rushed into the kitchen, opened a cupboard and then ran back upstairs shortly afterwards with a fire extinguisher.

Nerissa walked to Apollo’s bedroom door, followed by Orchid and Onyx who were equally surprised by Apollo as he began spraying the extinguisher around the bedroom at the small fires that were spread all over.

The fires caused only scorch marks, no actual damage, but the question remained. “What happened Apollo?”

It wasn’t a long walk to the address given to me by Myu. The house was large. At least thrice the size of my own, though from the outside it was still as unassuming as every other private home.

Arriving at the front door, It was slightly ajar. I heard music within and focusing on my sense of hearing further, I heard numerous breathing patterns in deep sleep all in close proximity. I of course didn’t intrude unannounced. And knocked on the door.

Most of the group stayed as they were, but I heard one breathing pattern awaken and slowly over the course of five minutes make its way to the door, after a series of bangs and crashes. Shocking me greatly that everyone stayed fast asleep.

Sue-Anne rubbed her head as the blush subsided slightly while she concentrated. “Um. Oh! Yes, no horns! After a quick scan of the pool, I was about to leave as I couldn’t see Janine, but as I turned around I heard something. Quiet. Muffled. I waited for a moment in silence as I looked around the room, focusing my senses and then I heard it again. “Mmmh~”

I felt the urge to investigate. Taking off my clothes I waded into the water and slowly followed the sound of the quiet moans. There was a slight turn in the second pool of water that I could not see from where I was originally standing. As I waded towards it, the moaning got more apparent.
