Chapter 625: “She Is Staying Around”
Onyx stood up from the couch and walked over to me. She then gave me a gentle hug. “Don’t worry about it, Apollo. I suppose we could tell you, but aren’t you here to learn? I think it best you experience everything unfold, rather than letting us tell you, that is what you wanted, right?”

I frowned for a moment, but ultimately agreed with Onyx. Whatever they were keeping from me was not ‘a big deal.’ I had a hunch if I showered Onyx with some kisses, she would crack like an egg and tell me what’s what, but if she is being cheeky and keeping stuff from me, that most likely meant I would know about it soon anyway. Especially considering it clearly has to do with Hecate’s class.

“I was more curious about Sol and Nerissa’s Telepathy that was clearly not telepathy, but I will let it slide for now.” I then spanked Onyx on her rear, causing her to purr in delight. That then followed by my wrapping my arms around her while turning my attention back to Nerissa.

“So, what errands did you go and run?” I asked. Nerissa just stared at me and slowly a smile emerged on her lips.

“Not telling.” She said casually.

“Why?” I asked, this being a different subject.

“Secret.” She said cryptically, clearly enjoying the fact that I am being left in the dark.

“Does it involve me?”

Nerissa stayed silent for a short moment before asking me a question, clearly slipping answering my own. “What do you have planned tonight? Is anything ‘fun’ happening?”

“Yes, actually.” I said, picking Onyx up and carrying her back to the couch. As I sat down, I resumed. “Sol and I are intermingling tonight. It is our first time… Technically. So you can imagine I am quite excited about that.”

Nerissa then leaned forward in her chair, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. “Really? You are able to make that work? From my observation of Sol, the ‘skin’ of her body is just for show, there is nothing underneath. No vital organs like myself…. Hmmm. I suppose with that form of hers being a weakened fixed state for whatever she actually ‘looks like’, I suppose with the correct catalyst body or energy… She could… Oh, most interesting. Apollo, would you mind if I observed the two of you tonight? I want to see this phenomenon for myself. My intrigue is once more spiked by this conjoining.”

While Nerissa’s request was reasonable to me and I am not shy in the bedroom, I declined. “Sorry, Nerissa, maybe next time. With it being our first time, I want to be in the moment just for her. Having an audience would ruin the bonding experience. I hope you understand?”

Nerissa nodded immediately. “Of course. We Nymphs have similar customs we have to follow before engaging in such intimacies. I understand completely. I am sure you will make Sol feel incredible and I wish you a wonderful night of passion to come.”

We lounged around for a couple of hours, ate some food, and looked over the basic lesson disc from today. As I suspected, it was trivial to me, but I looked over everything that was currently unlocked in case Janine needed any help understanding things.

I also had a quick glance at Elizabeth’s disc, but I didn’t feel like focusing that deeply tonight, as the next thing I know, something weird happens and boom! Next morning in seconds.

After coming out of the trance of running my fingers through both Orchid’s and Onyx’s hair after quite sometime, I felt in the back of my mind, an ember of desire begin to catch alight and I knew the ‘woman’ inside was finally ready.

Giving my lovies a tap on the shoulder to get up from the Apollo lap pillow, I said. “Right, I am going up. Can someone keep an eye out for Janine? Make sure she is ok when she gets in?”

“I will do it for you, Apollo.” Orchid said lovingly. I planted a kiss on her lips, short and sweet as thanks and stood up. “Good night Ness.”

Nerissa’s face scrunched for a moment in confusion before smiling. “Good night.”

Nerissa watched Apollo go up the stairs and into his bedroom. Once he was inside, she turned to the other two and queried. “Are you two ok with this? I know you don’t act jealous around him, but the hints are always there, amidst the harmony. I felt none of that tonight?”

Onyx and Orchid looked between each other before Onyx took the role of answering. “We don’t care about Sol. She is literally a universal concept given a weak form through soul energy and a crap ton of Psionic energy. A form that grows with Apollo, granting him a slow burn of power constantly. That can only benefit him in the long run. That is all we care about.”

Orchid then chimed in from the side. “She also isn’t a person, that gives me no reason to dislike her. It would be like disliking Apollo’s Psionics, it makes no sense as she is a fundamental Psionic form. It is why I don’t hate you, entirely, as you are a psionic being. I just hate your annoying questions.”

“Well spoken Orchid. But stop being mean.” Onyx said before addressing Nerissa. “She does like you Nerissa, or she would pick fights with you a lot more, such as asking this question behind Apollo’s back instead of in front of him.”

“Hmm.” Nerissa hummed. “That was not my intention, but I supposed it does seem like I was avoiding asking in front of him. I just thought a question for the two of you, should be for the two of you; so it’s not changed by you being in front of him. As you must admit, the both of you act much differently in his company compared to not.”

Onyx’s smile turned creepy as Nerissa said that. “Well of course we act differently then. When not around him, we are doing our job of protecting him rather than being his partner.”

Nerissa then interjected. “So you both work underneath Apollo’s teacher, Jewel?”

Orchid and Onyx once more looked between one another before Onyx spoke again. “Nerissa, you are Apollo’s friend. What with your blessing given to him and your little moment after your spar, but we are barely acquaintances at this moment… Perhaps, the future has something in store for you though? A future where all your questions about Apollo and us are answered? But in order for that to happen, you have to get closer to Apollo, much closer than anything you are possibly thinking of. Only then will the truth be revealed. But that is ultimately up to you…”

Nerissa became mute for a moment as she gazed down at her legs. A few moments later, she stood up and climbed back into her armour. As it encased her, she replied. “Thank you for your answers and apologies for any tension I might have created tonight. Being around Apollo, even just the last week and a bit, has made me forget that not everyone is as talkative and willing to share things. Good night to both of you, I shall retire to my room.”

Once only the hive was present in the room, Orchid scoffed. “Orchid does not like her questions. She annoys me.” Onyx scoffed. “No kidding? Orchid, you don’t even like yourself. The amount of times you have gotten angry at warriors is ridiculous.”

“Because those bitches think that with their four legs that they can entice Apollo-love! If they had the holes capable they would present whenever he walked past! They think just because I am separate from the hive most of the time I don’t know what they are thinking…”

Onyx laughed at Orchid just emphasising her point and seemingly materialised another bag of crisps, opening them, she crunched on a couple before adding while keeping her eyes on the tv.

“You should get used to her questions. She is staying around. You just need to tell her to stop asking and she will.”

“What do you mean she is staying around? Tell Orchid.”

“No. I don’t think I will…”

Orchid then growled underneath her breath at Onyx being an annoying bitch and started thinking about some heavily graphic disembowelments of said bitch. Prompting Onyx to tut, naturally being able to read the thoughts.

“When we get back, I am making it a point to get the queen to look at your head, you shouldn’t be able to think those things, even with your freedoms… And relax, you are lucky Apollo gave us a treat or I would be a lot less mellow right now. I’m not toying with you. The queens rule. No telling you all about futures. Too many fixed points is bad for our health.”

Onyx then imparted some sagely wisdom to her fellow high caste.

“Just sit back, relax and hope that Sol is a poor first time mate, so Apollo has to tag us in.”
