Chapter 464: Going to the White Dragon’s Lair
“By the way, I need to take care of something,” Nolan said as he pulled the hood of his cloak over his head.

“Take care of something?” Sharon, Cassiopeia, and Draco looked at him in surprise.

“Yeah, there’s something I want to do. Don’t worry—I’ll be back later tonight. You guys can go to sleep first.” Nolan gave them a reassuring smile.

Cassiopeia and Draco said nothing. After all, Nolan was a prince, and it wasn’t their place to question his actions.

Still, Sharon was deeply worried and clutched the sleeve of his cloak anxiously.

“Are you really going alone? What if something happens to you? And it’s still snowing heavily outside.”

She glanced ahead, where snow continued to fall, covering the ground in a vast white blanket.

“It’s fine. Trust me, okay?” Nolan said, gently patting her shoulder.

Sharon wanted to stop him, but she swallowed her words and reluctantly released his sleeve.

“All right. But be careful. If anything happens, break the magic stone Cassiopeia gave you immediately. Understand?” She looked at him seriously.

To ensure both Sharon’s and Nolan’s safety, Cassiopeia had given each of them a magic stone that would reveal the other’s location if destroyed.

“I understand. I’ll use it if the situation becomes urgent,” Nolan assured her.

Sharon let out a soft sigh and said nothing more.

Soon after, Nolan turned and walked toward the exit.

Watching his figure slowly fade from view, Sharon shook her head and whispered, “I hope he’s okay…”

Nolan walked sixty meters, then turned right and stopped beside a tall tree whose leaves were heavy with snow.

“It should be safe here,” he muttered, a faint smile on his lips.

He opened his left palm, and a black demon mask instantly appeared out of thin air.

He put it on, causing his aura to turn menacing, but he quickly restrained it and concealed it completely.

“All right, let’s see how strong the White Dragon really is,” he muttered.

Ever since hearing about the White Dragon, he had been curious about its appearance.

But due to a series of previous events, he hadn’t had the chance to see it for himself.

Now that the situation was stable, the plan set in motion, and all that remained was waiting for Glarvic to fall into despair, this was the perfect opportunity.

Nolan waved his right hand, and a portal abruptly appeared before him.

Without hesitation, he stepped inside and vanished.

…

“Master, are you going to start your battle with the White Dragon?” Jisha asked curiously.

Her round eyes blinked, making her look adorable.

Standing beside her was a fragile-looking girl with a blindfold covering both eyes.

The girl had a beautiful face, with pale white hair braided into two plaits that fell down her back.

Her bangs were cut straight across, giving her an elegant and charming appearance.

She wore a grayish-white dress, and her slim figure with well-proportioned curves was enough to draw attention.

She was Olivia Alkenor—the princess of the Kingdom of Kaldarion.

Since Glarvic had agreed to the conditions proposed by Sylvia, Olivia had naturally become her student, just like Jisha.

“Yes, I’ll fight the White Dragon now. After all, its defensive barrier has weakened considerably compared to before,” Sylvia replied casually. “By the way, Jisha and Olivia, you two will come with me.”

The two were stunned and exchanged hesitant glances.

“Come with you? Are you sure, Master? Isn’t that… dangerous?” Jisha asked, swallowing hard.

It wasn’t that she was afraid of dying, but the White Dragon was extraordinarily powerful.

Its strength was on par with a Celestial Mage—no, even greater than that.

She acknowledged her master’s overwhelming power, but defeating the dragon still felt difficult to believe.

Frankly, she wasn’t sure her master could survive without being seriously injured.

So, she didn’t want to watch her master face such danger without going along.

Sylvia rolled her eyes and pinched her cheek hard enough to hurt.

“Don’t make excuses! Have you forgotten why I brought you here? If you have, I’m more than happy to remind you.”

As she spoke, she raised her right hand, as if ready to teach her a lesson.

Seeing her master about to act, Jisha panicked and quickly tried to calm her down.

“Wait, don’t hit me! Okay, I was just joking! I’ll go with you!”

Sylvia lowered her hand and gave a satisfied nod.

“Good. If you had kept pretending to forget, my hand would have helped you remember,” she said casually.

Jisha shuddered at her words. Though they sounded harmless, only she knew how terrifying that “punishment” truly was.

Fortunately, she reacted quickly. Otherwise, she might have woken up with no memory at all.

Sylvia then turned to Olivia and said softly, “Don’t worry. You and Jisha won’t have to fight. I just want you to watch how I defeat the dragon. Maybe you’ll learn something from it. Do you understand?”

Olivia nodded eagerly. “I understand, Master. Thank you for your concern!”

Earlier, her father had said that her master, Sylvia, was extremely powerful.

Now that she had this opportunity, she wanted to witness that strength firsthand.

“Good. Then let’s go.”

With a snap of her fingers, the three of them vanished from sight.

…

Whoosh!

The winter wind blew in from all sides.

Anyone who stepped outside now would almost certainly suffer hypothermia almost immediately.

That was no exaggeration, considering the northern region had long been covered in perpetual snow that never melted.

Moreover, it was winter, and the temperature was far lower than usual.

At that moment, Nolan stepped out of the portal he had created and observed his surroundings with curiosity.

“So this is where the dragon lives? But where exactly?” he muttered.

He scanned the area to his left and right, finding nothing but trees and a rock nearly twenty meters tall.

Then, he activated his Eyes of Chaos. In an instant, everything became clear.

What stood before him was nothing more than an illusion.

Behind the massive rock was a cave of the same size.

“I see. That makes sense.” Nolan chuckled softly.

With a wave of his hand, the illusion shattered like torn paper, revealing the cave beneath it.

Because of its sheer size, Nolan appeared extremely small in front of the cave.

Even so, he showed no hesitation and walked forward.

Less than twenty steps in, he stopped and stared ahead with a cold gaze.

“A barrier, huh? Unfortunately, it’s useless against me.”

He drew a straight line with his index finger, and the barrier split cleanly in two.

Nolan stepped inside, and the barrier immediately rejoined behind him.

His figure slowly vanished into the darkness of the cave.
