447: An Accusation from Cassian (2) 447: An Accusation from Cassian (2) “She… is the culprit.” Upon hearing this, everyone stared in disbelief.

Elina was the culprit?

How could that be possible?

Even Aldric, Cedric, and Adalen found it hard to believe.

Not because they were defending her, but because it seemed impossible.

There was no reason for Elina to take such a reckless action-turning the guests into demons and creating such chaos.

It was tantamount to suicide.

Moreover, turning the guests into demons would have required secrecy while the party was still ongoing.

Yet the three of them were certain they had seen Elina remain in her place with Rafine, without leaving the hall even once.

Elina’s supporters, such as Orlan, Gustav, Rudy, and the others, stared at Cassian with displeased expressions.

“Don’t make such slanderous accusations, Prince Cassian.

Can you show us your evidence?” Orlan asked coldly.

Rudy, standing beside him, nodded in agreement and added, “Yes, that’s right.

Remember-you are a prince, and every word you speak represents the imperial family.

A false accusation would bring shame upon the empire.” The others chimed in.

Even the supporters of Cedric, Aldric, and Adalen agreed with them.

In this chaotic situation, they needed to unite and find the true culprit.

Some of their friends and family members had become victims of this incident.

They clearly would not forgive the mastermind behind it.

“Cassian, I’ll pretend I didn’t hear what you just said,” Ragan said in a heavy, cold voice.

“Apologize to your sister immediately.

If you refuse, I will punish you severely.” It was hard to believe that his son would accuse his sister without any basis.

This incident gave him a headache, and his thoughts often drifted.

The chaos that had erupted was truly terrifying, and he knew that once everything was over, he would be held accountable by the kingdoms whose envoys had been turned into demons.

And now, his son was spouting such nonsense, only worsening his mood.

Facing everyone’s cold stares, Cassian remained as calm as a statue.

“Apologize?” Cassian sneered.

He stared coldly at Elina and said indifferently, “Why should I apologize to Elina?

She is the main culprit.” The air seemed to grow colder as the atmosphere tensed.

They could not understand what had happened to Cassian.

In the past, Cassian had been a humble prince who smiled easily.

Now, however, he was acting so foolishly and stubbornly that Aldric, Cedric, and Adalen exchanged confused glances.

“Cassian…” Ragan growled, about to scold him, but his words were cut short by Cassian.

“What if I can prove it?” Those words silenced not only Ragan but everyone else as well.

Those who had thought Cassian foolish earlier now showed doubt on their faces.

Although they did not fully believe Cassian’s one-sided claim, no one could guarantee that he was lying.

What if there was a chance he was right?

Ragan was among them.

He furrowed his brow, stared at Cassian, then turned to his daughter with hesitation.

Seeing this reaction, Cassian smiled faintly in silence.

This was exactly what he wanted.

That way, he could move on to the second stage of his plan.

“Then prove it right now,” Ragan ordered coldly.

Cassian straightened, reached into his pocket, and took out a round black stone.

“This is a recording stone that I deliberately used to record the party earlier.

At first, I only intended to document the event, but who would have thought I would catch my younger sister committing such a heinous act-putting a strange potion into the guests’ drinks?

I suspect this is the main reason they turned into demons.

After all, the timing is far too coincidental,” Cassian said confidently.

The small stone was a magical recording device.

He had purchased it from the Blue Moon Trading House and used it exactly as he claimed.

However, after his first plan failed, he and Zerathos altered their approach, framing Elina using this recording stone-its contents having been completely edited.

Under normal circumstances, this would have been nearly impossible.

The Blue Moon Trading House embedded powerful magical formations within every recording stone to prevent such tampering.

Unfortunately, Cassian had Zerathos, the Demon Emperor, at his side-someone exceedingly skilled in the use of magic.

With ease, Zerathos manipulated the magic circle inside the recording stone, altering its contents to suit their purpose.

Ragan suppressed the anxiety in his heart and ordered, “Activate the recording stone.

Now.” Cassian nodded slightly and tossed the stone into the air.

In an instant, a brilliant blue light flared.

Moments later, a holographic screen formed from intertwined magic appeared, displaying a short video.

Suddenly, a figure appeared in the video-Elina.

Everyone was stunned, their hearts skipping a beat.

Could what Cassian had said actually be true?

Yet they swallowed their questions and continued watching in silence.

In the video, Elina moved stealthily, dripping a strange potion into each glass on the table.

Coincidentally, this happened during the final dance, when no one was near.

Not only that-she also poured the potion onto another table across the hall.

Everything was done with such precision and care that it was hard not to believe it.

“Now, do you believe me?” Cassian asked indifferently.

Yet deep down, he could not suppress his delight.

The Demon Emperor Zerathos’s ability to alter the video felt so real that Cassian almost convinced himself Elina was truly the culprit.

“How about now?

Do you believe in my abilities?” The Demon Emperor Zerathos wore a faint grin.

‘Yes, I believe.

You truly are as great as the legends say,’ Cassian replied sincerely.

His cooperation with the Demon Emperor Zerathos had not been in vain.

With evidence this convincing, Elina would almost certainly face severe punishment.

He glanced at Elina, her face pale, and smiled playfully.

Ragan, Aldric, Cedric, and Adalen stood frozen in place.

It was hard to believe that Elina could have done such a thing.

Yet the evidence they had just seen was far too clear, almost impossible to refute.

The heads of the noble families present were equally stunned, their faces dark with gloom.

At that moment, all eyes fixed on Elina as she stood before them.

“Your Highness, how do you explain this?” A viscount asked in a trembling voice.

“Is what’s shown in the video true?

Are you the culprit?” His son had turned into a demon because of this incident.

The pain of losing his only child had been so overwhelming that his wife had fainted several times.

And now, the culprit had been revealed-and it was Elina.

Though he did not want to believe it, the evidence was simply too strong.

Other nobles quickly echoed similar questions, and the atmosphere descended into chaos.

“Enough!” Ragan shouted.

Within seconds, the voices died down, though reluctantly.

Ragan turned to Elina, his eyes flashing with both sorrow and anger.

“Elina, explain this to me.

Are you the culprit?”
