376: A Siege and Battle (1) 376: A Siege and Battle (1) Boom!

A loud explosion echoed from the direction of the five portals.

Moments later, five-meter-tall black figures emerged.

All five were skeleton-shaped monsters, just like Levi.

The difference was that they were far larger than him.

They wore gold-colored armor and helmets, wielding weapons like swords, spears, and more.

Their appearance shocked everyone.

Cassiopeia and Draco, in particular, could feel the terrifying power radiating from the five monsters.

“What a terrifying aura.

Are they really natural monsters?” Draco asked, stunned.

Their strength was immense-perhaps on par with city-level monsters.

If one of them appeared on land, the eastern region would surely tremble.

And now, five such powerful monsters had appeared together, forcing Draco to rethink just how strong Levi really was.

“Be careful.

I’ll fight three of them, while you handle the rest.

And don’t forget to take care of His Highness the Prince and Her Highness the Princess as well.

Understood?” Cassiopeia glanced at him indifferently.

“I know.

Don’t worry,” Draco replied casually.

“Hehehe!

Don’t be so uptight.

These five monsters aren’t the main force of my army-they’re just the opening act!” Levi shouted.

He poured his power into his sword again, which blazed with a bright green light.

The five portals glowed once more, and in the next breath, more monsters poured out from each one.

They were all skeletal creatures-warriors, monsters, and even beasts.

Yet their strength could not be underestimated.

Even the weakest among them were equivalent to mid-level monsters.

They numbered in the hundreds, enough to fill half the hall.

“Hahaha!” Levi laughed, raising both hands.

“How was my show?

Pretty impressive, wasn’t it?” A sinister grin spread across his face.

“This is what happens when you make me angry, woman!” His gaze locked onto Cassiopeia, brimming with murderous intent.

“If only you had accepted my offer, I could have guaranteed your freedom.

But unfortunately…” A flash of mockery lit his green fire eyes.

“You made the wrong choice.

There’s no turning back once I’ve decided on punishment!

Now, accept your fate!” With that, Levi pulled his sword from the ground and swung it forward.

“My subordinates, attack them all!

Finish them off immediately!” Roar!

The monsters bellowed in unison, surging toward Cassiopeia, Draco, Sharon, Nolan, and Jack.

“Damn it!

We’re going to die!” Jack shouted, panic rising in his voice.

He was just an ordinary man with no power.

Even if he tried to fight, facing hundreds of monsters at once would be certain suicide.

“Ice Wall Barrier!” Cassiopeia pressed her hands together.

Whoosh!

A blue wall materialized in the air, stretching horizontally and separating them from the monsters.

Bang!

The monsters struck the wall with all their might, yet it held firm, unshakable.

Cassiopeia turned to Draco.

“Do as planned.

I’ll take on three of them and some of their cronies, while you handle the rest.

Understood?” Draco nodded.

“Understood.” Cassiopeia’s gaze shifted to Sharon, Nolan, and Jack.

“I’m sorry, Your Highnesses, Princess and Prince.

Draco and I won’t be able to protect you two.” “It’s fine.” Sharon shook her head lightly.

“I understand the situation is difficult.

I’ll handle the weaker monsters.

Is that okay?” “No problem.

It will help us a lot,” Cassiopeia replied firmly.

“And Jack, you can fight, right?

Could you handle three to ten monsters?” Jack swallowed nervously.

Facing ten monsters at once was something he had never experienced.

But there was no room for hesitation.

He nodded stiffly.

“Yes, I can!” “Good!” Cassiopeia gave a satisfied smile.

“Then let’s go face them!” Sharon turned to Nolan and commanded, “Go to the back.

I’ll protect you.” She had already vowed to guard him, to not let him be harmed in the slightest.

Nolan smiled gently.

“Thank you for your concern, dear sister.

But it’s not necessary.

I can fight and help you.

Trust me.” “You…” Sharon was taken aback, hesitating.

Nolan was just a weak prince with no abilities.

It wasn’t that she underestimated him-this was simply the truth.

As if sensing her doubt, Nolan patted her shoulder reassuringly.

“Trust me.

I wouldn’t lie to you.” Those words caught Sharon off guard.

Memories of the past flooded back.

“Sister, I’ll take you to see the starry sky again.

Trust me, I won’t lie!” The boy’s voice echoed in her mind.

Although he hadn’t kept his promise back then, Sharon didn’t feel anger at all.

After all, that day had marked the beginning of her colorful life.

Shaking off her hesitation, Sharon looked at her brother, who returned her gaze with equal seriousness.

“Alright, I won’t forbid you.

But if anything happens to you, I’ll protect you.

That’s my promise-to you, to Father, and to myself,” she declared firmly.

Nolan was deeply moved.

“I understand.

I’m counting on you, big sister.” Sharon smiled and snapped her fingers.

Instantly, five high-level weapons floated into the air.

There was a spear, a sword, a bow, two daggers, and an axe.

“Choose the one you want to use,” she instructed.

Without hesitation, Nolan took the two daggers.

Both were black with faint white patterns on the blades-beautiful and perfectly balanced.

Jack chose his weapon as well: a spear, his signature weapon.

Once the two had made their selections, Sharon returned the remaining weapons to her magic storage.

Crack!

A faint cracking sound came from the magic wall.

Nolan, Sharon, and Jack turned their heads to see tiny fissures beginning to form.

At first, the cracks were small, but the relentless assault of the monsters caused them to spread rapidly, forming a spiderweb pattern in all directions.

Finally, with a deafening explosion, the magic wall was shattered completely.

The five city-level monsters lunged toward Cassiopeia, Draco, Nolan, Sharon, and Jack, with weaker creatures trailing behind.

“Attack!” Cassiopeia shouted and darted forward.

She soared into the sky and raised her arms high.

A purplish-red orb of energy formed in the air and plunged into the mass of monsters below.

Boom!

A quarter of them were obliterated, including the two city-level monsters nearest them.

But a second later, the shattered bodies re-formed as before.

Cassiopeia’s eyes narrowed.

“Eternal monsters, huh?

This is troublesome.” Even so, she expected them to regenerate rapidly.

After all, they had been summoned by the undead.

Cassiopeia’s expression went cold.

“So what?

Even if you can’t die once, I’ll kill you a second time, a third time, even a hundred times!” She raised both hands high.

Ten more energy balls formed and streaked toward the horde.

Boom!
