375: The Undead, Levi Crusade (2) 375: The Undead, Levi Crusade (2) Whoosh!

A strong gust of wind burst from the portal and slammed into everyone beneath the theater stage.

“Ugh…” Jack crossed his arms in front of his face.

“What an insanely strong gust of wind!” If he had relaxed even a little, he would have been blown away from his spot.

A few seconds later, the wind weakened and finally died down.

Jack and Sharon let out a sigh of relief.

Sharon turned to Nolan with worry in her eyes.

“Are you okay?

No one got hurt, right?” Nolan gave a soft smile.

“No, Sister.

Thank you for worrying about me.” Even if the gust had been a hundred times stronger, it wouldn’t have harmed him.

Still, her concern touched him.

Sharon nodded slightly, then turned her gaze toward the portal.

The once-ordinary green light grew brighter, and soon, a massive black shadow began to emerge.

“Oh?

I didn’t expect any visitors on my ship.

Welcome, everyone.” A skeleton dressed in pirate clothes stepped out, chuckling softly.

It stood tall-nearly three meters-with a pirate hat perched on its skull-the very one Sharon had taken earlier.

Though it was a skeleton, bright green flames burned in its eye sockets.

Its teeth looked human, only sharper and more menacing.

Its appearance instantly put Draco and Cassiopeia on guard.

Their expressions hardened.

“Do you feel it?” Cassiopeia asked coldly.

“I feel it.

The aura it gives off is no weaker than that of a Celestial Mage,” Draco replied.

As Celestial Mages themselves, Cassiopeia and Draco were naturally sensitive to others of the same level.

To their surprise, the giant skeleton was not weaker than them at all.

Honestly, it was the first time they had ever seen such a strange-looking creature with such overwhelming power.

Sharon shuddered at their words.

A mere skeleton could possess the strength of a Celestial Mage?

If Cassiopeia and Draco hadn’t been there, she was certain that Jack, her brother, and she would already be dead.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk…

Why do you all look so panicked?” The skeleton grinned.

“Are you afraid of me?

Hmmm…

I see.

Since my ship first turned into a ghost ship, you’re the only ones who’ve dared to enter this hall.

Everyone else who tried to board and explore my ship died miserably.

They were truly…

weak.” It let out a small sigh, as if disappointed.

Nolan narrowed his eyes at the skull.

Levi, huh?

So he really did turn into a skeleton.

Looks like he chose eternal life as an undead, he muttered.

But he didn’t blame him.

Everyone had their own choices, and as an outsider, he had no right to judge.

Besides, Levi had always been a wicked man.

He had sunk countless merchant ships in their previous world and slaughtered many innocent people.

For someone with such a cruel soul, becoming undead for the sake of power or longevity wasn’t surprising.

“Alright, before I slaughter you all, allow me to introduce myself,” Levi said playfully, making an elegant gesture like a prince.

“My name is Levi Crussade, the owner of this ghost ship.

Hmm…

You do realize that entering someone else’s ship without permission is quite rude, don’t you?” He raised his head, and the green flames in his eye sockets flared with terrifying intensity.

The atmosphere grew tense, and Jack felt his legs trembling uncontrollably.

He had fought sea monsters before, but this one was clearly on a whole different level.

Cassiopeia waved her hand, and the crushing pressure Levi had been releasing instantly disappeared.

Jack regained control of his body and looked at Cassiopeia with gratitude.

“Oh?” Levi raised a brow, then looked at Cassiopeia with intrigue.

“You’re quite strong, woman.

What’s your name?

Want to be my partner?” He smirked, his expression twisting into something lewd and disgusting.

Draco couldn’t hold back his laughter, which only made Cassiopeia even more irritated.

“Shut your mouth, damn it,” she said coldly.

Draco immediately froze, then awkwardly cleared his throat.

Cassiopeia’s gaze hardened as she glared at Levi.

“Enough of your nonsense, you weird monster.

Tell me-how do we get out of here?” She could feel the dimensional space growing stronger by the second.

If they didn’t leave soon, they’d be trapped inside forever.

“Tsk!

You’re one fierce, beautiful woman,” Levi chuckled.

“But that only makes me more interested in you.

So, what about my offer?

Will you accept it?” Realizing there was no point in continuing the conversation, Cassiopeia snapped her fingers.

In an instant, six glowing magic circles, each about two meters wide, appeared in the air.

Moments later, six chains shot out from the circles, flying toward Levi and wrapping tightly around his body.

A second later, two red magic circles appeared above his head.

And then- Whoosh!

Two blue fireballs burst forth, slamming into Levi with tremendous force.

The explosion was so powerful that the theater stage beneath him was instantly obliterated and reduced to ashes.

The air temperature spiked, scorching everything around.

Jack and Sharon gasped for breath, struggling against the unbearable heat.

Although Sharon was a great mage, the truth was that her power was relatively weak.

Cassiopeia moved her left hand, and the temperature within a five-meter radius gradually dropped.

Jack and Sharon immediately felt the refreshing cool air, their tense expressions easing in relief.

The thick black smoke above the stage slowly faded, revealing Levi’s figure once more.

Strangely, he was completely unharmed.

The chains that had bound him were gone as well.

Cassiopeia’s eyes widened.

“How is that possible?” Even if the monster wasn’t dead, it should’ve been at least injured-or left with some visible damage.

But Levi looked perfectly fine, and that was something Cassiopeia couldn’t accept.

Draco was just as shocked.

Cassiopeia’s spell had been a high-level one.

If he had taken that attack himself, he would’ve been injured-if only slightly.

In an instant, both of them raised their guard to the highest level.

“Hehehe…

That was a powerful attack.

Are you a Celestial Mage?

If so, you’re more than worthy of being my partner.

What do you say to my offer?

Please accept it, okay?” Levi rubbed his palms together eagerly, waiting for her response.

Cassiopeia, however, was disgusted.

“Don’t talk nonsense.

You’re a revolting monster.

Now tell me-how do we get out of here?

Tell me, or I’ll destroy you.” Levi’s face darkened with anger.

“Woman, you are insolent!

How dare you call me a revolting monster?

Fine-if you want death, I won’t show mercy, even if you are a woman I like!” He raised his right hand; a green sword wreathed in a mysterious aura materialized in the air, and he seized it, driving it into the ground.

Buzz!

Five portals, the same size as the one behind him, opened to his right and left.

Levi lifted his head and shouted, “Now, the show begins!”
