374: The Undead, Levi Crusade (1) 374: The Undead, Levi Crusade (1) “Nolan?” Sharon froze.
“You… you…” She wanted to scold him for startling her, but at the same time, she felt relieved that her brother was back.
“Where were you?
And how did you find me?” she asked in surprise, scanning him from head to toe to make sure he wasn’t hurt.
Nolan smiled casually.
“Sorry for the scare.
I was suddenly transported by a mysterious force to a specific room.
Luckily, I immediately started looking for you and saw you earlier, looking confused.” Sharon let out a long sigh.
“So that’s how it was…” She nodded repeatedly.
“Was it because of the bell?” When the bell had rung, Nolan had suddenly changed position, and Sharon suspected that was the cause.
“Yes, the bell,” Nolan said with a serious expression.
“From the start, I suspected it was very mysterious.
If we want to find clues about this ghost ship, we have to track it down.” Of course, he was lying.
Nolan already knew everything about the ship.
But he couldn’t tell his sister and had to pretend otherwise.
“You’re right,” Sharon agreed.
“Let’s find out where the bell came from.
We can look for other treasures along the way.
I’ve already found a lot of treasures, like gold and other things.” Her face radiated genuine happiness that was hard to hide.
The corners of Nolan’s lips twitched.
His sister had become a money-loving woman-and that was his fault.
Even so, it didn’t matter.
Both in his previous world and in this one, women tended to love money and wealth.
So he didn’t mind giving everything to his sister.
Without saying a word, Sharon hooked her arm around Nolan’s left arm and walked away with him.
But suddenly… Dong!
The sound rang out again.
Nolan and Sharon’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Nolan, that…” Sharon started to speak, but their surroundings suddenly twisted and distorted.
The next moment, everything in her view changed.
What had been a ship’s corridor was now a vast hall.
The hall was so enormous that it seemed impossible for it to be part of a ghost ship.
Ahead of them stood a theater stage.
The stage was large enough to hold fifty to a hundred people at once.
On either side hung red curtains.
Yet, like the rest of the ghost ship, the hall looked damaged and neglected.
The chairs were broken, and the stage was on the verge of collapse.
The atmosphere was quiet, lonely, and… tense.
As they stood confused, they heard footsteps, followed by a woman’s surprised voice.
“Your Highness Nolan and Your Highness Sharon?
So you actually entered this ghost ship, huh?” The two of them gasped and turned to see Cassiopeia, Draco, and Jack walking toward them.
“You guys…” Sharon exclaimed, staring at them in astonishment.
“How did you get here too?” At first, she thought it was just her and Nolan.
But it turned out the three of them were here as well-especially Jack, who had unexpectedly joined the investigation of the ghost ship.
Feeling her gaze, Jack blushed and quickly explained, “I was about to check on my crew, but the thick fog outside my room had covered the corridor.
Out of curiosity, I went up to the ship’s deck-and found it empty.” “And while walking along it, I spotted the ghost ship and decided to see its interior.” Cassiopeia and Draco also shared how they had ended up here.
Their stories were very similar to Jack’s-and to Nolan’s and Sharon’s as well.
“Do you know how to get out of here, Cassiopeia?” Sharon asked, her tone more relaxed.
With the two of them present, she felt completely at ease.
After all, they were Celestial Mages.
It was impossible for them to be defeated by this ghost ship, right?
Cassiopeia looked embarrassed and hesitant.
“I’m sorry, Your Highness.
To be honest, Draco and I don’t know how to get out of here.” Sharon’s face froze.
She stared at them, uncertain.
“You don’t know, you say?
You’re not joking, right?” “Of course not, Your Highness,” Cassiopeia replied, shaking her head.
“We really don’t know.
It feels as if this hall exists in a special dimension created by a powerful being.
Even Draco and I can’t break through it.” She let out a small sigh.
This was the first time she had encountered something like this.
She suspected that whoever was behind the ghost ship was stronger than the Celestial Mages.
But who?
Frankly, she had no idea.
Only a few were capable of surpassing the Celestial Mages-such as the Dragon Emperor, the Seven Singularities, and a handful of other formidable figures.
Sharon lowered her head and asked, “Then how do we get out?
Do you have any idea?” Even the two of them couldn’t find a way-let alone Sharon.
“Although I don’t know how to escape, I studied this dimension with my senses and felt a special mechanism.
If it’s triggered, maybe we can get out,” Cassiopeia explained.
Jack and Sharon felt a wave of relief.
They looked around eagerly.
“Let’s find it,” Sharon said.
Cassiopeia, Draco, Jack, and Nolan nodded and immediately began searching the hall for the mechanism.
Its vast size made the search difficult, but that wasn’t a major problem.
Whether Cassiopeia, Draco, or Sharon, they were all mages-and their abilities could at least speed up the search.
Nolan joined in as well.
Of course, he could easily destroy this special dimension.
He also suspected it had been created by the Singularity of Death.
But since he didn’t know the purpose behind it, he chose not to destroy it immediately and waited to see what would happen next.
They searched for fifteen minutes but found nothing.
“That’s strange,” Sharon muttered, scratching the right side of her head.
“I’ve been looking everywhere, but I still can’t find it.” Cassiopeia, Jack, and Draco shared her confusion.
Cassiopeia glanced at Draco, who simply shook his head.
Nolan folded his arms and glanced at the upper right wall.
A small hole caught his eye-and inside it rested a black pirate hat.
“Sister, have you checked that hole?” Nolan asked, feigning curiosity as he pointed to it.
“My gut tells me the mechanism might be there.” Everyone followed his gaze.
Sharon shook her head.
“No, I haven’t checked it yet.
But if you’re certain, I’ll help.” She raised her left hand, and a fireball appeared out of thin air, shooting toward the wall.
Boom!
The explosion tore the wall apart, enlarging the small hole to five times its original size.
Suddenly, a pirate hat tumbled out.
Sharon frowned in confusion and stepped forward to pick it up.
“A hat?” she murmured, chuckling softly.
As she was about to put it back, the hat suddenly emitted a bright green light.
Under the astonished gaze of Sharon and the others, it shot into the sky and exploded.
Boom!
The green light spread throughout the hall.
Moments later, the damaged stage was fully restored, and a massive portal materialized out of thin air.
Nolan remained calm, but his eyes narrowed in caution.
“A portal?
Could this be a monster attack?”
