Kael walked alongside the others and took his seat on one of the lotus pods. He adjusted his posture a little and placed his hands on his knees. Martina and Roosevelt did the same and took a serene meditative stance. They closed their eyes slowly and started to meditate together.
Kael inhaled deeply. His chest rose and fell in a calm rhythm as he let his thoughts settle. At first it was just simple hollow blank meditation, and everything around him felt quiet and empty.
However after a short moment he felt something changing. His surroundings began to shift and the air grew heavy. It felt like the world itself was being pulled away from him.
The scene formed slowly and he found himself standing in another place. There was a woman sitting cross-legged in front of him. She had black clothes and her entire body was covered from head to toe. Her face remained hidden and her posture was steady and unshaken. A faint aura surrounded her and it slowly enlarged. The aura expanded more and more until it felt like it was engulfing the entire world.
As the aura reached its peak, a heavenly voice descended from the sky. It was calm but it carried an authority that could crush the earth.
“A mere mortal trying to make his way to Godhood.”
The sky cracked. The cracks spread like web lines of light tearing across the heavens. Then countless beings poured in through the broken sky.
Angel Army.
Kael gasped loudly as he saw them. His eyes widened and his breath stuck for a moment. It was the army created to fight the Outer Forces but it had descended here to harm a being of this world.
“Fuck… How low can you fall,” Kael muttered in disbelief while watching the angelic ranks form tight formations.
Their wings glowed with bright light and their weapons burned with holy power. They shot toward the woman sitting on the ground and countless powerful attacks rained down. However before they could strike her another opposing force struck with fierce might from the side.
A violent wave clashed with the angel attacks and the sky shook from the collision.
Then from above, a whitish flying being descended through the sky. Its dragon-like body glowed with pale mist. The figure riding atop the dragon made Kael freeze in place.
“It is drago…” Kael whispered as his body stiffened.
And then another figure leaped forward with fierce momentum seeing which Kael’s eyes almost popped out.
“Asanaaaaaaa! Is that you!” Kael gasped when he saw her.
It was none other than his first crush,The Queen of Ice Elves Asana.
His first crush held two short swords and slashed with terrifying might. Her attack created a snow slash that cut through the air with extreme cold. The moment her blades swept forward, the world trembled. A long streak of ice shot across the battlefield and everything touched by it froze into solid crystal. Even the light of angelic wings cracked into icy pieces.
“HOLYYYY FUCKKKKKK!” Kael shouted as he almost jumped back.
“You managed to become a Demi-GOD!”
However even this incredible power was not enough to deal with an entire army of angels.
“Kekek!”
Just then he heard a maddening laughter behind him. The laughter was eerie and chilling yet it was strangely familiar. The sound echoed through the shattered sky and brought chaos into his mind.
“Hahahaha!”
“Time to test my latest invention.”
The ground trembled and from beneath it various metallic objects shot out. They burst upward and tore across the sky like iron comets. They struck the white pigeon-like angel form with brutal force.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“STEAMPUNK YOU…” Kael stared in disbelief for a moment. His mind spun as he watched the brutal explosions tearing through the angel ranks.
Just then he heard another voice shout.
“Hey brat… Stop playing… It is injurious for us.”
Through the explosion, a figure pushed through the smoke and stepped out. His clothes were torn but he carried himself with unbroken pride.
“Constance…” Kael breathed. The man wore a holy brocade and his body shone faintly like a star in the middle of dust and fire.
“Damn… Even this fake priest manages to reach here…” Kael muttered as he rubbed his face.
“We are here too!”

The battle between them erupted into brutal chaos. Attacks clashed, weapons sparked and entire chunks of the battlefield cracked under their strikes. The Dragon roared through the sky, Asana spun with blinding sword slashes, and Steampunk’s inventions tore through the air with explosions. Constance fought like a divine warrior with every step lighting up the ground.
Yet even with all this, they were outnumbered. The angelic army pressed forward from all sides. The sky filled with holy spears and chains of light that locked around their bodies. The battlefield shook with every impact.
Seeing this Kael’s heart jolted in shock.
“No… No… Do not tell me you all died here…” His voice trembled. His breath came uneven and his chest felt tight. His heart felt restless and pain surged through him.
For a moment he wanted to rush forward and help but he felt no control over his body. His arms refused to move. His legs felt stuck to the ground. He sucked in cold air and clenched his teeth not knowing what to do as the incoming attacks descended. It almost seemed like everything was going to end.
However at that exact moment the attacks coming toward them simply disappeared. They vanished as if erased from existence.
Kael felt a trembling sensation pass through his entire body.
The sheer might of the angel attack turned into nothingness.
The world descended into void.
A dark emptiness spread across the battlefield and swallowed everything. In the middle of this void, a woman walked barefoot in a blackish gown. Her steps were silent yet each step carried overwhelming pressure. The angels rushed at her with furious speed however they crumbled into dust in midair before even reaching her. Everything that touched her existence was erased as if it had never existed.
Her power felt similar to God Of Darkness, a presence that bent the world around her. Her shadow stretched long and her figure looked like a calm night that swallowed light and sound.
Just then the wills of God descended. They fell like towering voices pressing down the sky.
“There is no need for another new God.”
“Disappear.”
The woman lifted her arms. She had six pairs of hands, each holding different weapons except the first right hand which held a burning blackish flame.
“You want to do what you did to him… in your dreams.”
“He walked so that we could run. We have learnt from his failure. Now you cannot do anything.”
Kael saw all this and could not hold it in.
“Fuck… Now this is awesome…”
She then raised the flame. It twisted into the shape of a blackish lotus. She shot it toward the center of the angel army. The lotus exploded outward into a wide black flame. It looked like a black hole swallowing everything.
The angels and even the intent of God were sucked inside and turned into a singularity of nothingness.
The entire battlefield fell silent as the void expanded like a mouth swallowing heaven itself.
