Chapter 426: 426
Even the strongest among them Crebs,Hobbin, Dominic, and Fred found it difficult to breathe.

Their instincts screamed at them to run, to hide, to disappear. But none of them moved.

They just couldn’t. The aura surrounding the creature felt like invisible chains locking their bodies in place.

The female figure stood tall, her blood-soaked feet sinking into the cracked ground. The red puddles beneath her shimmered and pulsed like they were alive. Her black eyes scanned the battlefield slowly, studying each trembling human, demon, and monster that dared remain.

Kael gritted his teeth, forcing himself to stand despite the pain tearing through his body. Every bone ached, and his vision blurred, but he knew what he was looking at.

“That’s not Adele anymore…” he muttered under his breath. “That’s something else. Something far worse.”

Martina stumbled closer, her face pale and filled with disbelief. “What the hell happened to her?!”

Kael didn’t answer immediately. He could feel it..the vast, monstrous power leaking from her body. It was old and rotten, a mixture of chaos and divinity. The mountain trembled beneath her feet.

“She… she became a vessel,” Kael finally said in a hoarse voice. “They summoned something through her.”

Kael’s face twisted in horror as realization hit him. “The ritual… It wasn’t just a sacrifice. They brought down one of the Seven Abyssal Lords.”

In his words, everyone felt their stomach drop.

The figure tilted her head slightly, as if amused by their fear. Her long, tangled hair fell over her shoulders, brushing against the sharp bones that jutted from her spine. When she smiled, it wasn’t human. The corners of her mouth stretched too far, and her teeth were sharp like blades.

Her wings twitched.

A single flap sent shockwaves across the battlefield. The nearest soldiers were blown away, their armor torn apart like paper.

Fred stepped forward, raising his sword despite the trembling in his arms. “I don’t care what she is. If she stands in our way, we need to fight!”

Creb’s staff glowed with divine light as he called out, “Heaven’s Radiance!”

Thousands of shimmering swords appeared above him and rained down upon the dark figure like a holy storm.

The attack illuminated the entire battlefield. For a brief moment, it felt as if the light of heaven itself was striking down upon the earth.

But then—

The light vanished.

Every sword of radiance froze midair, then melted into black mist before reaching her. The eerie woman didn’t even lift a finger. Her empty eyes blinked slowly as if bored.

“Light?” she whispered, her voice echoing unnaturally. “How amusing.”

The next second, an invisible wave of power spread outward. cred was thrown back like a ragdoll, coughing blood. His armor shattered, and the ground beneath him caved in.

“SIR Creb!”others roared.

Dominic eyes narrowed his crimson aura flaring violently. His eyes glowed red as his domain expanded around him.

“Domain of Wrath!” he shouted, and a storm of fiery energy engulfed the area. Everything within the domain began to burn—the air, the soil, even the stones cracked apart.

But she merely turned her gaze toward him. The fire froze in place, and then, with a sickening crack, the energy imploded. Dominic was thrown out of his own domain, his body bleeding from a dozen cuts.

Roosevelt gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on his sword. The golden glow of his Imperial Swordsmanship flared once again. His hair turned bright gold, shining under the ashen sky.

“Martina, Hans! Cover me!” he shouted, his voice sharp and determined.

Seeing this Kael shouted,”Stop, you idiot but it was too late.”

He raised his sword high, summoning the divine intent of Majesty. The very ground beneath him shimmered as golden energy gathered around his blade. The aura of an emperor filled the battlefield, pressing against the darkness like sunlight piercing through a storm.

The monstrous figure turned her head slightly, watching him with a faint smirk. “Ah… the blood of royalty,” she murmured. “How nostalgic.”

Roosevelt’s eyes blazed. “You talk too much.”

He swung his sword with all his might. “Imperial Swordsmanship, Fifth Form—Heaven’s Judgment!”

A massive arc of golden energy burst forth, slicing the air and colliding with her body in a deafening explosion. The light blinded everyone for a second.

But as the smoke cleared, their hearts sank.

She was still standing.

Her wings were spread wide, untouched. The only change was a faint scorch mark across her arm, which healed almost instantly. She tilted her head and laughed softly.

“Impressive for a mortal,” she said coldly. “But still worthless.”

The ground beneath Roosevelt cracked open as black tendrils shot up, wrapping around his legs. He struggled, slashing at them, but more appeared. They crawled up his body like living shadows.

“Roosevelt!” Martina screamed. She rushed forward, her sword glowing with pale blue light as she cut through the tendrils. “Hang on!”

Roosevelt fell to one knee, panting. “Martina… take Hans and the others. Get everyone out of here!”

“Like hell I will!” she shouted back. “If you die, then who’s going to lead us?”

She hadn’t even finished when.

BOOOOM!

Roosevelt’s body suddenly burst apart turning into a puddle of blood.

“…..”

Silence reeled the entire place.

Kael stepped forward, his sword trembling slightly in his hand. His body still hurt from the earlier slash, but his eyes were burning with resolve.

He looked up at the figure floating above the battlefield, her wings spreading wider, casting a shadow over everything.

“Everyone, hold on,” Kael said through clenched teeth. “If we can’t beat her, then we can destroy whatever’s keeping her here.”

Han, who had been silent until now, nodded grimly. “The ritual circle… it’s still active. If we destroy it, the link will break.”

“Then we do it now,” Kael said.

The dark figure’s gaze suddenly turned toward them. Her lips parted in a cruel smile.

“Hahahahah!”

“Did you think of me as an ordinary summon?”

“Trying to end the fun so soon?” she whispered. Her wings twitched, and the blood around her began to rise into the air, forming spears of crimson energy.

Kael’s expression hardened. “Everyone, move!”

The next second, the blood spears rained down from above like a storm of death.
