421: 421 421: 421 The moment that abominable creature rose from the blood circle, both the human and demon sides froze in terror.

Every warrior, every mage, and even the beasts that had been roaring moments ago now stood completely still.

The monstrous being towered over the battlefield, its countless tentacles writhing in the air while black slime dripped to the ground, hissing as it corroded everything it touched.

The smell of decay and madness spread like poison.

The air itself grew heavy.

The sky darkened, and an invisible pressure crushed every living soul.

It wasn’t just fear.

It was something far more dreadful like an instinctive reaction that came from the depths of their minds.

Then a deafening voice roared, shattering the eerie silence.

“What the hell is going on!?” The scream thundered through the entire battlefield like the wrath of a god.

Dominic appeared, his body glowing with a golden aura that barely held back the suffocating darkness around them.

His expression was twisted with rage, veins popping along his forehead as his gaze swept over the chaos.

“Whom… which bastard allowed them to enter!?” His voice was filled with fury, his eyes darting around until they landed on one person.

Everyone’s attention followed.

Roman.

“You…” Dominic’s voice trembled with restrained violence.

“I…” For the first time, Roman’s arrogant expression faltered.

He took a step back, his lips parting to explain, but before a single word could escape, a wave of pure madness crashed over the battlefield.

A mental attack so powerful that it felt like a thousand blades cutting into the mind of every living being.

Screams filled the air instantly.

Soldiers clutched their heads, tearing at their own skin.

Demons howled and turned on each other.

Blood splattered as minds broke and reason vanished.

The world turned crimson as insanity devoured both sides.

“Stop!” Crebs shouted, slamming his staff into the ground with all his strength.

“All elves!

Quickly cast the spell of resistance!” He drew a glowing rune in the air, and the other elves followed in unison.

Their hands trembled, but light began to gather, forming a faint barrier against the wave of madness.

“Force of the Church!” Michelle, Richard, and a group of priests at the rear clasped their hands together and prayed aloud.

Holy light descended, wrapping the soldiers in warmth that fought against the spreading insanity.

For a brief moment, divine energy clashed with the dark power of the Cthulhu, creating a fragile balance.

“Waahhh!” someone screamed as a soldier collapsed.

“Gyanhh!” another shouted, clawing his face before fainting.

The battlefield had turned into a nightmare of madness and divine resistance.

Dominic’s eyes snapped toward Roman again.

“Roman!

You bastard!” BOOOOOOM!

A sudden explosion tore through the field.

Roman’s body was hurled through the air like a ragdoll, crashing into the remains of a destroyed wall.

He coughed up blood, his pride finally shattered.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt glared at Rein, who stood calmly amidst the chaos as if none of this concerned him.

His coat fluttered in the wind, and his ever-gentle smile remained.

“Damn it, Rein!

Why did you have to do this?” Roosevelt shouted, his anger burning through his exhaustion.

Rein turned his head slowly, smiling as though he found the entire situation amusing.

“Brother,” he said softly, “did you hit your head?” Roosevelt frowned, his eyes narrowing.

Rein spread his arms, his tone light yet cruel.

“This is the side I was given to.” Martina and Roosevelt both frowned at the same time.

The revelation made their hearts sink.

“So, you’re saying this evil thing was part of your plan?” Roosevelt asked through clenched teeth.

Rein chuckled, his tone turning sharp.

“Plan?

You call it betrayal, I call it fairness.

You’ve all been given the good sides-the heroes, the light, the glory.

And what about me?” His smile turned twisted.

“I’ve been forced to stand in the dark, to hang onto this ugly side.

Isn’t this injustice, brother?” Roosevelt stepped forward, fury boiling within him.

“Rein, you-” “Enough!” Hans shouted, interrupting the brothers.

His voice carried authority, pulling everyone’s attention back to the monster that loomed before them.

“You can talk later.

Right now, you should think about saving yourself.” Everyone turned their eyes toward the massive octopus-like creature.

Its tentacles moved like black rivers, slamming into the ground with earth-shaking force.

Each strike created craters and sent shockwaves across the battlefield.

Then, with terrifying speed, several tentacles shot forward, grabbing hundreds of demons at once.

The sound of bones cracking and flesh bursting filled the air as the victims were crushed into meat paste.

“Holyshitt…” someone muttered in horror.

The monster let out a deep growl, vibrating through every chest.

The sky trembled as the creature’s eyes, endless and unblinking, scanned the battlefield.

Just when it looked like the tentacles would sweep through the entire army, a streak of light shot forward.

SWOOOOSH!

A series of brilliant slashes cut through the darkness.

Countless lines of light danced across the sky as the tentacles were sliced apart one after another.

The monstrous limbs fell to the ground with heavy thuds, splattering black ichor everywhere.

At the front stood Kael, his blade gleaming faintly under the pale light.

His breathing was steady, but his eyes were sharp as a blade.

The soldiers behind him shouted in relief, but Kael didn’t move forward.

Instead, he quickly retreated.

“Back!

Don’t touch the remains!” he warned, his tone heavy.

Everyone froze as the severed tentacles started to twitch.

The black liquid spilling from them spread rapidly, corroding everything it touched.

The stench of decay worsened as the cut pieces began to regenerate.

From each piece, a new smaller tentacle began to grow.

“Sigh…This bastard…” Kael muttered, tightening his grip on his sword.

The cloaked fanatics in the distance started laughing maniacally.

“Hahaha!” “Do you see now?” one of them screamed, his voice shrill with devotion.

“This is the might of our God’s gift!” Another one raised his arms to the sky, eyes glowing with madness.

“This is His strength!

His mercy and His wrath!

Tell me, who can contend with Him now?” Their laughter grew louder, echoing over the battlefield as both human and demon forces stared in silent horror.

The line between ally and enemy no longer mattered.

Fred Hobbins and Crebs exchanged a brief glance with Dominic.

The air was thick, filled with smoke, blood, and the trembling energy of chaos.

No one spoke for a few seconds.

The battlefield was quiet except for the distant shrieks of the monster writhing in the distance.

Then, at the same time, both Fred and Crebs spoke.

“Temporary truce.” Their voices echoed across the ruined field, firm and decisive.

Dominic’s red eyes narrowed as he looked at them, then at the monstrous figure devouring both demons and humans without distinction.

His jaw tightened.

“Fine,” he said coldly.

“Demons, hear my order!” His deep voice boomed across the field.

“From now on, that thing is your enemy.

Focus all your strength against it.

Anyone who dares hesitate or run will be cut down where they stand!” He pointed his sword at Roman, who still knelt nearby.

“Roman, you are the sinner of this world.

When this is over, you will be imprisoned and stripped of your name.” His voice thundered through the valley.

Then, turning back toward his soldiers, he shouted again.

“Now move!

Kill that creature before it consumes the land itself!” Fred Hobbins lifted his sword high, his face smeared with blood and dust.

His voice followed immediately.

“All human soldiers, listen!” he roared.

“Forget the demons beside you.

Forget your grudges for now.

That monster is the real enemy.

Attack with everything you have!” The two armies, once locked in hatred, now moved together.

Their combined shouts shook the heavens.

But before they could charge, a voice rolled across the battlefield like thunder.

It came from everywhere at once, deep and distorted, echoing in their heads.

“Humans and demons…” the voice said slowly.

“Surrender to the great ones.

You will be greeted with mercy.

Resistance is futile.” The sound made the weaker soldiers clutch their heads in pain.

Dominic glared at the sky, his aura flaring violently.

“In your dreams, you bastard!” he shouted, swinging his sword with all his strength.

The slash tore through the air, leaving a blazing red trail that split the ground apart as it surged toward the creature.

Fred, Hobbins, Crebs, and Dominic-four SS-rank beings rushed forward at once.

Their combined power erupted like a storm.

The creature’s tentacles moved first, slamming into the earth with a force that shattered the ground like glass.

Dust and blood filled the air.

Dominic charged in first.

His sword glowed dark crimson as he cut through the air, cleaving one massive tentacle clean off.

A geyser of black blood splattered across the battlefield, sizzling like acid wherever it touched.

Fred followed behind, lightning crackling across his greatsword.

“Thunder Sever!” he shouted, swinging it with both hands.

Bolts of electricity exploded outward, striking the monster’s slimy body.

The shock lit up the sky, splitting the clouds with deafening roars.

Crebs lifted his staff, runes glowing around him in golden light.

“Divine Judgement!” he roared.

Spears of light descended from the heavens, piercing the monster’s body and burning through its skin like molten fire.

The smell of scorched flesh filled the air.

Yet the creature only shrieked louder.

Its massive body twisted violently, smashing its tentacles into the ground.

One hit sent Dominic flying back, crashing through several boulders.

Blood poured from his mouth, but he still stood.

“Keep attacking!” he yelled, his voice fierce.

Hobbins darted through the chaos.

Each swing of his blade cut deep wounds across the monster’s slimy hide.

His movements were fast, precise, and brutal.

But the creature refused to fall.

Then, as one of Fred’s lightning slashes cut off another tentacle, something horrifying happened.

From the severed flesh, dark smoke poured out and twisted.

Within seconds, new forms began to emerge.

Deformed creatures, born of corruption, crawled out screeching.

Their bodies were covered in writhing slime and glowing red eyes.

“Shit…” Fred muttered, backing away.

“They’re multiplying.” The battlefield fell into new chaos.

The newborn monsters lunged at both demons and humans, tearing through them mercilessly.

Screams filled the air once again.

Crebs raised his staff to block a strike, his barrier shattering under the impact.

“Focus on the big one!” he shouted.

“Don’t let it grow stronger!” But their attention was torn away when Roosevelt’s furious voice roared from the side.

“Let’s take care of these cloaked figures first!” he shouted.

His eyes locked on Rein, who stood smiling among a group of dark-robed cultists.

“Rein…” Roosevelt growled, gripping his sword tight.

In the distance, several cloaked figures began to emerge, their chants blending with the cries of the monsters.

Each one radiated a strange, twisted energy that made the air feel heavy.

Rein chuckled softly, his expression calm amidst the chaos.

“Brother, the world is already doomed.

You can’t stop what has begun.” “Like hell I can’t,” Roosevelt shouted and charged forward.

The battlefield now split into three layers of chaos-Fred, Crebs, Hobbins, and Dominic fighting the towering abomination; humans and demons fending off the multiplying monsters; and Roosevelt leading the charge against the cloaked cultists.
