Chapter 301: 301 – I’ll grant your wish
“Don’t worry my son… I’ll avenge you…” The patriarch of the Wang family, Wang Jiantian, squeezed his son’s shoulders as they tore through the skies in the family’s flying ship.

They were flying to the royal capital, accompanied by their family’s personal guard: 100 powerful cultivators of the enlightened soul realm.

Wang Haoran heard his father’s words, but his mind didn’t even seem to compute the meaning.

His body had already recovered, at least almost all of it; his balls had been lost, as had his pride.

“No father… I’ll kill him myself, I’ll take those women… I won’t accept such shame!” Haoran gritted his teeth, punching the table hard.

“Ah… just don’t embarrass your father, okay?” Jiantian shook his head.

If his son was so sure of solving the problem himself, there was little he, as a father, could do other than support him.

After all, in Haoran’s words, that enemy was just some transcendent.

The possibility of his son’s defeat didn’t even cross his mind.

“Sharpen your sword, I need some time to meditate.” Jiantian said, raising his hand gently.

“Yes, father.” Haoran left, his eyes full of fury as he headed for the back of the flying ship, where his family had a forge attached.

Unaware of that conversation, Qingyi walked through the streets of the capital of the Blue Sea Kingdom, full of powerful cultivators from all corners of the kingdom, all gathered for one thing: the great annual auction of the Five Colors Pavilion.

This auction was only a few hours away from starting and Qingyi knew full well that if he didn’t hurry soon, he would probably miss his chance to place his bid.

Still, he didn’t worry, walking calmly.

He had prepared around ten pills in total.

Six were affinity enhancement pills, one was a spirit root enhancement pill and the other, a lineage and constitution enhancement pill, all capable of raising the quality of these things to mortal grade.

The latter, however, were what gave him so much confidence that his items would be accepted easily, even at short notice.

A lineage and constitution enhancement pill and a spiritual root enhancement pill, both capable of raising these to earth grade, a level that many geniuses in the Blue Sea Kingdom could only dream of reaching.

Shaking his head, he entered the main building of the Five Colors Pavilion.

“Good morning, young master. What can I do for you?” An attendant approached Qingyi, bowing respectfully.

“I want to register a valuable item for the auction.” Qingyi replied and after a short moment, the attendant nodded, leading him into the waiting room.

Qingyi had to go through a brief check, waiting a few minutes until it was his turn to meet one of the many managers taking care of collecting items for the auction.

He was a middle-aged man in gray robes, his dark eyes sweeping Qingyi disinterestedly.

In his mind, this was just another young dreamer, believing that his trash was treasure.

He was already ready to refuse Qingyi’s items when the young man finally revealed them. A small black box, carrying exactly ten pills in its padded interior.

The manager froze, his eyes wide and his heart racing. His eyesight wasn’t lying to him, was it?

“Y-young man… do you know the value of these items?” The manager asked, using his most powerful identification technique, studying those items carefully.

They were real, true pills capable of improving talent.

“Yes, senior. This junior would like to present them for auction.” Qingyi replied respectfully, but didn’t bow.

“Well…” The manager swallowed. “We can accept them at a ten percent commission rate, placing them as intermediate items…”

“I understand…” Qingyi replied, scratching his chin for a brief moment before standing up and picking up the box. “I’m sorry for wasting senior’s time.”

The manager was initially relaxed, but seeing Qingyi grab the door handle, he despaired.

Those items were so rare that they were comparable to ancestral heirlooms, he couldn’t lose them!

“Wait, five percent!” The manager shouted, but Qingyi didn’t even seem to hear him, opening the door.

“Three percent, no… two percent! Two percent commission and a place for the two best pills among the final items! The other pills will be sold among the intermediate items.”

Hearing those words, Qingyi finally stopped.

“Please, this is the most I can offer.” The manager spoke, watching Qingyi with a pleading look.

“I’m glad the manager has finally decided to show some sincerity…” Qingyi smiled, taking his seat at the table again.

He had expected that not all the pills would get a place in the final batch, but that didn’t really matter.

From Ruxue and Meilin’s words, such items were basically non-existent in the immortal heavens, so their value was incalculable.

As long as the two pills capable of reaching earth grade were revealed in the final batch, nothing else mattered.

Exchanging handshakes with the manager, Qingyi’s items were registered.

All he had to do was sign a blood contract with the Five Colors Pavilion and then he could leave, receiving a VIP token free of charge to attend the auction.

He just wanted to find a secluded place to enter the world of the mind and spend some time with his wives until the auction started, but his plans suddenly broke down.

On the horizon, he saw an arrogant figure, walking alongside a powerful entourage and a cultivator from the False Immortal realm.

That was the young master of the City of Howling Winds, Wang Haoran.

Haoran’s eyes also met Qingyi’s, his whole body locking up as his face was filled with fury.

[You coward… if you have the courage, meet me in the forest north of the royal capital, I’ll duel you and wash away this shame!”]. Haoran sent a sound transmission to Qingyi.

[If you want to lose more than your balls so badly, I’ll grant your wish. Soften your teeth in advance so it’ll be easier to pull them out]. Qingyi smiled arrogantly.

Despite the difference in cultivation, he wasn’t afraid.
