393: Do Not Read 393: Do Not Read Chapter 305 The universal law of the world.

The main characters were always surrounded by trouble.

Even if they sneeze, the trouble finds them.

I mean, does it make sense when a protagonist was chilling at an inn and it just so happened to be the same inn where the young miss of a well-known sect has chosen to hide with her trusted aid.

Somehow, her pursuers managed to find her and after that, the MC gets involved for no other reason than his bullsh*t righteousness.

Similarly, our MC was also a trouble magnet.

It made no sense for us to materialize in a shrine and that very shrine was used by slave traders who pillaged nearby villages and used this place as their hideout.

No sense, right?

Well, why would logic matter when you have ridiculous power of friendship?

> The up next dialogue can be confusing because those on Adrian’s side wouldn’t understand the language for a while.

But I’m not going with the italic font this time.

< "Huh?

Who are you?" A middle aged, ugly guy asked.

"What did he say?" Sophien asked immediately.

"He said I'm hella handsome." I replied before I turned to the man and replied, "Just some travelers." "You don't look native." The man said while eyeing me and my choice of dress.

"Is that… Chinese?" Sophien asked.

"Very astute of you." I said to her before I turned to the man and replied, "Yes, that's what a traveler means.

We're here on a travel from a land far, far away." "Hmmm?" He mused while he eyed us all, especially the girls and they didn't have to know the language to know what intentions about them this gentleman held, "From far away, you say?" A smirk appeared on his face as he said, "I've never sold such unique looking people before.

Oi, pretty lad," He pointed at me before he said, "Leave the women and those two men behind.

Take the rest and go." "What did he say?" Sophien asked.

"He said Eric and Zefton would be sold for higher prices because of their delicate looks." I replied.

I knew my eyes weren't wrong and it was definitely the correct decision to assign them that role.

[They do seem delicate] Even a muscle head like Zefton looks delicate compared to the normal burly people of this world.

"Oh, and he also said that you would all be sold at high prices too." I added as if it wasn't of something significance.

However, one person among us didn't like the sound of that.

Boommm!!!

Rose's expression changed and her mana spread throughout the area.

Well, her past as a slave wasn't a good one after all.

Of course, she wasn't like other slaves but still, she was a slave and some of those with her weren't as lucky as her to be chosen by Adrian when he was kind hearted.

Their fates weren't good and that sometimes get Rose's bad side.

I wouldn't want to be there when she'd get mad.

I still feel pain in my abdomen from the last time.

"You know," I said, addressing the man who was frozen stiff in place, "You really shouldn't say that to a lady with a sword." Slash.

A single, calm slash and seventeen heads rolled on the ground.

Those who were being held captive couldn't even understand what happened and to be honest, those on my side were the same as well, me included.

I had to keep my eyes on Rose to track her movements.

That was dangerous.

So she wouldn't kill demons but she had no problem killing these guys?

Well, made sense.

Humans were the only race that had the concept of slaves.

Any of the other races didn't demean any other race like that, even humans.

Part of their honor.

But these guys, well, they're sold their humanity since long ago.

Even Rose felt nothing for them.

Well, one thing actually.

Sympathy.

Even if it was unintentional.

Just imagine what I would have done to them.

With that little episode over with, I turned to the rest and once again said, "As you can see, we are not on Isis.

Well, we are on Isis, just on a different continent.

Language here is different as well." With the reality of the situation setting in, I continued, "So do as I say, don't do anything stupid, and don't wander off on your own." With that done, I moved back in.

The rest followed me and the one to ask our next move was, as always, the one who was most observant with every situation, "What will we do now?" "For now, we will be traveling." I replied.

To return to the world of Isis, I needed to once again open up a wormhole and create coordinates to the place.

Coming here was difficult but going back wouldn't be difficult because our souls already belonged to that place.

On the contrary, this time, we didn't have any powerful source to open the wormhole.

While coming here, coordinates was a problem but the power wasn't, while going back, coordinates wouldn't be a problem but the power would be.

It wasn't easy to build a particle accelerator.

I mean sure, given the materials, I could build one in a matter of days, but I wasn't going to find any materials here.

How Barlèt and the rest managed to get it was a mystery but for me, it was impossible to build it in this timeline.

With almost all other options being bound by the time I was in, there was only one option left.

Well, I feel bad for this world but there wasn't any other choice but to do this.

"Let's go start a war." ~~ "What do you mean they are dead?!!!" Monica slammed her hands on the table and yelled loudly, her eyes bloodshot and her mana in a rampage.

Her husband, next to her, was also looking at Sirius with bloodlust evident in his eyes.

"I did not say anything like that.

I just said that there is no sign of them so far." Sirius replied, knowing how grave the situation was.

He didn't know what happened and how it happened.

No matter how one looked at it, this wasn't a dangerous mission.

On the contrary, this was the easiest assignment that could have been assigned to a team.

Reconnaissance.

Adrian and his team's sole job was to scout the area, observe the status of the enemy and just report back.

For that, not only were they granted a good route, they were also granted good resources.

Yet the explosion that happened in the no man's land and shook the entire area was felt by everyone.

The mysterious power that had never been before and sucked everything in existence into itself.

It was almost like a gate but no one had ever heard of a gate with black color.

Before anyone could do anything, the gate like thing vanished, leaving nothing but the hollowed mountain behind.

Once checked through the mountain, they found nothing.

There was no trace of anything that could have indicated what happened there.

All Sirius knew was that Adrian and his team were supposed to be in the area when the explosion happened.

As much as he didn't like to think so, even he had to assume the possibility that Adrian and his team, which consisted of children that were the hope of the humanity, had died in that explosion or sucked into that black gate that vanished.

If it was the former possibility, then there was no way to defend himself in front of this people.

However, if they were inside a vanished gate, then there was a chance they could come back as well.

"For now, we assume that they were indeed sucked inside a gate and there is hope for them to return." Bayern said, even though he knew saying such a thing wouldn't help his friend who was sitting quietly in his seat.

Rafael, just like Monica, was going through millions of possibilities.

His only family, his only left bloodline's fate was unknown.

Even Orion and Zarden weren't being their political self because they didn't want Rafael to feel any worse than he was already feeling.

"Sir Bayern is right.

We need to make sure this news does not get out.

We are already on a brink of war.

We do not want any unforeseen circumstances to happen." Ronald, one of the kingdom's king was, however, looking at this politically.

Although the kingdoms hadn't lost their children, they had still lost great pawns that couldn't be replaced.

But it didn't hurt them to the extent it was hurting Rafael, Cornelius and Monica.

"She will be fine." Rafael suddenly said when everyone was quiet.

"She will return." What he didn't say was, 'I have already put my faith in him once and he did not disappoint me.

I will chose to do so once again.' His faith in a certain white haired boy had gotten to a point he was unconsciously willing to do anything he asked Rafael to.

In such a tragedy, Rafael had only one person to trust and currently, he knew he was with Alicia.

And for that, he was calm.

'Please… Please…'
