350: The one without a fate 350: The one without a fate Chapter 350 “Argh!!!” Celandine grunted in anger as she threw whatever was in her hand at the wall, shattering it into pieces.

The man sitting near her, a young handsome man, looked at her and asked, “Another failure?” “Do you think I want this?” Celandine asked, anger evident on her face and in her tone.

She had been trying for days now and had even used hundreds of artifacts but not once was she able to use her power correctly.

No, correction.

There was nothing wrong with her power.

The string of fate, the future itself was changing.

And there wasn’t just some simple change.

It was in constant flux.

So much so that Celandine’s power, one that was considered to be the mightiest in the world was proving to be useless.

“I am simply asking for the cause of this anomaly.” The young calmly replied, not minding Celandine’s behavior.

It wasn’t because he was magnanimous or anything.

He was just past that childish age.

To him, such tantrums meant nothing.

What mattered to him was his mission and Celandine was a vital piece to accomplishing his mission but at the moment, Celandine was proving to be quite useless.

“The future is changing,” Celandine replied, after taking a short pause which allowed her to properly word her answer.

“What do you mean by that?” The young man asked.

Since the answer was so bizarre, he couldn’t help but ask.

He had lived a long life and Celandine wasn’t the first seer he had encountered.

She was the most powerful, however.

Still, he had never heard of such a thing.

The future changing.

To him, the string of fate couldn’t be altered.

What will happen will always happen.

Even if some anomalies change the course of fate, the ultimate result will always remain the same.

Yet, here he was, hearing from none other than a seer, people who were said to rule the future, that the future, and in doing so, the fate, was changing.

It wasn’t possible yet he had no choice but to believe it.

“What do you mean?” But while he did believe Celandine, he still needed to ask for a reason.

“I do not know,” Celandine replied, as if tired, or defeated.

After all, her only power was proving to be useless at the moment.

She wouldn’t be feeling giddy about it no matter what, “All I know is that since a few days ago, the future is in constant flux.” “I keep getting one thing, a message, from every future I see,” Celandine replied.

“What message?” The young man asked.

“He is angry.

Run.” Celandine replied.

Her reply even made the young man a little worried.

Celandine wasn’t just some nobody whose opinion could be disregarded as paranoia.

And most of all, her warning was to be taken seriously at all costs.

After all, the reason her power was so strong and her info so reliable was because she could communicate with her future selves.

She would see into a set future and communicate with someone from her future, gaining information about what to do and what not to do, and only then did she relay that information.

The said future would then be erased and her choice would make their plans smoother.

The church had grown rapidly ever since she allied herself with the church along with her brother.

What the young man couldn’t achieve in hundreds of years was achieved in a matter of months thanks to Celandine.

However, currently, the very power that was responsible for almost making the church was failing.

Celandine’s future selves were warning her against someone.

Who was it?

They didn’t know.

They didn’t have the time to tell.

And even if they did have the time, they just couldn’t for one simple reason.

They were all just too much broken.

Repeating one thing again and again.

“Run.” As the word left her mouth on instinct, she shivered as she was reminded of the last future she saw.

All her future selves were scared or broken but this was terribly bad.

This one was broken to the point she couldn’t even warn her anything.

All she could see was darkness and pain and heard only one word.

“Run.” Once again, she let that word slip her lips as if she was afraid.

She was afraid.

The young man could tell.

She was defeated by whatever she saw.

The young man could tell she didn’t want to feel that again but she had no other choice to.

Even now, they didn’t know of the said threat.

They needed to know.

Otherwise, they wouldn’t be able to deal with it.

“I will let you get some rest.

You know we cannot win without you.” The young man said as he left the room, leaving Celandine trying to come to terms with her mind.

While he had only one question of his own… “Who could affect the fate to this extent?” ~~ Achoo!!!

“Are you sick?” Sophien asked, no worry evident from her tone.

“The term is ill.” I corrected her.

“No.” She replied, “For you, the term would always be sick.” “Somebody’s probably thinking about me,” I replied before I stepped forward.

“Don’t come any closer!” She yelled.

If someone saw this, one would think I was about to do something nasty to her.

[You want to, don’t you?] ‘Very badly.’ “Come now.

You can do it if you set your mind to it.” I replied before I punched her in the face, sending her flying across the room.

With that, I had defeated her a total of 992 times in the short time of two days.

Whereas, her victories could not even be counted on fingers.

They were zero.

Not just her… “Ahhh…” Moans of pain resounded around me as all of my cute team members tossed and rolled around on the floor.

In pain.

In massive, immense pain.

But, as one of my favorite phrases goes.

No pain no gain.

They needed a world of pain to bear the pain of the world.

It was a wordplay and a very good one at that.

Anyway, my current problem was not knowing anything.

As it occurred to me, many things were hidden deep under the original plot.

For instance, there was no mention of Sophien being from another world.

No sign of the mission that Sirius gave us.

There was no mention of Celandine or anyone like that.

The list went on and on but the bottom line was that I was flying blind.

Not to mention the growing problems I had.

The church, the mysterious person who was behind the British royal company, and, last but not least, the old man in the silica lab.

Something told me it wasn’t my last encounter with him.

Another thing I had to admit about him was that he was strong.

Very, very strong.

He knew witchcraft or ancient magic just like me and he was intelligent as hell as well given how he predicted what I would do and prepared seals to mess up my teleportation magic beforehand.

Even if he knew me, it was still a long stretch.

As for the demons.

Well, I didn’t know if they were a problem yet but if they were, then they weren’t anything to worry about for now.

Last but not least, my dear brother.

As it turned out, Andrew was in this world.

Where?

I had no idea.

If I had to guess, then he was probably imprisoned here somewhere.

Trapped or something along the same lines.

Currently, he was my biggest problem.

And whereas my problems kept on increasing, the power to tackle them was nowhere in my reach.

I couldn’t increase my level because, for that, I’d have to kill some powerhouses of this world, and killing them wouldn’t be good for me.

There were no monsters of the same rank to kill to raise my level.

The formation of SS and SSS ranked dungeons was still very, very far away into the future.

It was the stuff of the sixth volume while according to Eric’s age, the volume that should be going on right now was the second.

By this time, Eric still should have been in the academy, going through the troubles of a first-year at the hands of the second-year students such as my cousin and his squad and the like.

Nothing was like what was going on right now.

With that many discrepancies at hand, I had to say that it would be very difficult for me to deal with them without an appropriate level of strength.

“After today, you will all be training like this, every single day.

The task to bea-train you would be performed by Rose who will not hold back.

And then all of you will team up and bea-train with Rose.

Other than that, keep an eye on the commanders as well.

Train them well.” I said.

“Where are you going?” Sophien asked.

“I’m going on a journey.

The journey to achieve spiritualization.” I said with my face towards the sky and my hands on my waist.

She looked at me like I was a joker and said, “Where are you going?” “I need to train as well and it is a training that cannot be interrupted.

However, when I’m finished and I don’t find each and every one of you at the S+ rank, I might become… extra benevolent on all of you.” I said with a sweet smile.

A visible shiver passed through everyone as they looked at each other in panic.

I turned with a chuckle and left.

Time to get stronger.
