349: Pushing the boundaries 349: Pushing the boundaries Chapter 349 While training the army was fine and all, I needed to train these guys as well.

The girls and Max were going forward very slowly.

With the addition of Sasha, the group was quite big.

Asmara and Sasha trained on their own, following the teaching of their masters from all the theories they learned in three months.

Rose also did her own thing.

She was growing rapidly compared to everyone else and with her breakthrough at bay, she would soon break into level 400, officially becoming an SSS rank blessed.

The res, however, were still stuck at the A rank so they needed guidance to bring them up a level.

The guidance means my fists and their bodies.

The best guidance there was and that was how I became strong as hell as well.

If it worked for me, why wouldn’t it work for them?

“Today,” I said as I circled around them all.

Yes, all of them.

Even those who could train on their own because training without a limit was important for all of them, “You become familiar with something called a limit.

As you grow stronger, you find out you have a limit that holds you back from achieving true recklessness.” “From achieving strength without limits!” “So to facilitate that process, today’s training is going to be a little difficult.

Today’s training is going to be nothing but reckless.” I said out loud before I activated my skill.

[Soul entrapment] [Target(s): 7] [SP required: 100] [SP required for renewal after 30 days: 100] The amount of SP required for this skill was massive but there was a perk equal to that available as well.

Also, the price would have been a problem before but now… [SP 417417] My SP had almost doubled after one session.

And the best part was that there were many, many more sessions left.

After all, two thousand untainted souls were nothing to scoff at.

It was different for the souls I obtained from the Lich because they were processed by a noob and not to mention, I had massive soul damage to repair as well.

But now, there was nothing of that.

Instead, my soul was strengthening by the minute, increasing my SP in large droves at once.

Anyway, coming back to business… “Rose, would you please step forward?” I asked Rose who complied.

Once she was next to me, I simply told her, “Cut your hand off.” Without even a slight second of thought, she pulled her long as* dagger out and slashed her wrist, cutting it through cleanly.

She had to apply mana to the blade because the dagger wasn’t sharp enough to cut through her bone.

That reminded me, she needed a new weapon.

“Adrian!” The rest only registered my order after it was executed.

After all, from me saying my order to Rose’s hand falling on the floor, only three seconds had passed.

That showed how much she trusted me so it was only fair I reciprocated that trust.

“Calm your ti*s,” I said to all of them and waited for Rose’s hand to jump back to her waist which it did.

Even the blood spilled on the floor returned to its previous state.

As if time itself had been reversed, Rose’s hand was back to normal in a few seconds.

As if it was never cut.

“But the pain remains,” I looked at them all and said, answering their questions before they could even ask.

“Now.

Everyone else does the same.” I told them to.

Alicia and Laura hesitated a little while Asmara, Max, and Sasha executed my order without wasting a single second.

The only one who didn’t was Sophien who said, “Sorry honey, but cutting my hands is where I draw the line in this relationship.” She was basically telling me she was from Earth with all that feminism floating around.

Still, I shook my head and said, “Fine.

Just prick yourself or something.” “Why does she get to pick that?” Laura asked, greatly unjustified.

I sighed and said, “You can just prick yourself too.” So, Laura, Alicia, and Sophien only pricked themselves with their weapons to draw some blood while the rest cut their hands to see the effectiveness of, what they assumed to be was, a skill or spell of mine.

As expected, it worked all too well.

Since it did, I smiled and said, “Get ready.

Hell’s training is about to begin.” Color faded from everyone’s faces except for one.

Sasha’s.

But her confused expression would soon change once she experienced my love-filled training.

After all, fists full of love were the best sign of affection out there.

And I was about to shower them with love.

~~ “Stand up.” A man ordered a boy who seemed to be about right at most, on all fours, breathing erratically, bleeding all over.

“Are you done with just that?” The man asked the boy, trying to taunt him into standing up but unfortunately, the boy didn’t even have an ounce of strength to stand up, let alone resume their activity.

“If you fall so soon, Gabriel,” The man said, his expression full of disappointment, “You will always lose.” Gabriel, at age eight, was fully familiar with his daily routine.

Still, there were times when things got too much for him.

After all, no matter how exceptional, he was a boy of just eight.

But to the man before him, his age didn’t matter.

What he wanted to see was the light of will in Gabriel’s eyes and he was glad to see it wasn’t faded in the least as Gabriel raised his head and tried to push himself up, despite his body being too broken to even move an inch, let alone stand.

“I like the look in your eyes, Gabriel,” The man said before he turned around and left while saying, “Go rest.” Gabriel, as if waiting to hear those words, collapsed on the floor and passed out.

Even his supernatural healing couldn’t help him with that.

He soon opened his eyes, in a room, on a soft bed, the light of the room piercing his eyes.

He didn’t look around and simply asked, “How long was I out?” “Ten minutes,” A little girl replied, a girl almost the same age as Gabriel.

She looked at him and said, “Naomi was here.

She just left.” “Did she now?” Gabriel got up and turned to her, “And how long have you been here?” “Dad asked me to tell him once you were up.” The girl replied.

“I’m up now.” Gabriel replied, “You can go tell him.” “You’re not.

You’re still sleeping.” The girl replied.

“Haha,” Gabriel chuckled and plopped back in his bed, “Thanks.

I could use a break.

The old man just doesn’t know when to stop.” “Why do you do it?” The little girl asked, “Why do you do what… dad… asks you to?” It was difficult for her to call the man ‘dad’ since for her, he had been her dad for only a few days.

Gabriel could see that.

The conflict.

The man who she was supposed to call ‘Dad’ was no longer in this world and someone had replaced that figure.

It was difficult for her.

But for Gabriel, it wasn’t difficult at all.

The amount of love and attention he got never lessened.

It was never divided between him and the girl who was now his adoptive sister.

If anything, he welcomed her into his life.

He was alone.

All alone.

With her, he wasn’t.

So, he was never going to let her go.

“Because,” Gabriel turned to look at her, deep into her eyes, “I don’t ever want to be alone.” The little girl wasn’t so mature as Gabriel to understand what that meant so she did what she always did.

Her eyes shone as she looked at Gabriel, her expression turning a little sad.

“I don’t like it when you see my future,” Gabriel said.

“Why?

Do you hate it?” The girl asked, her eyes turning a little moist.

“No.

Because I can tell what’s in my future.” He replied, turning his head to the ceiling, “And it makes you sad.

I hate that.” “Then why try so hard?” The little girl asked.

“Haha,” Gabriel chuckled, he looked at her and replied with a smile, a smile so innocent it felt like it came straight from his heart, “If the future was already decided, there would have been no point of free will.” Gabriel stood up, crackled his tiny body muscles, and said, “So stop worrying about my future.

My future is what I want it to be.” The girl’s eyes widened.

Because at that moment, everything changed.

The shine in her eyes intensified and everything that she saw earlier was erased like it never existed.

The pain in his life never lessened, but it changed.

Gabriel wasn’t as helpless as before.

“I’m not as helpless as you think.” And with those words, a new line of destiny began.

“Even the future, huh?” Bruce said as he heard all of the conversation, “My boy sure is special.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Bad_Wolf_7811 Creation is hard, cheer me up!
