The Archangel of Death - Chapter 341
341: The Silica Base 341: The Silica Base Chapter 341 “Kugh!” The poised man in the Italian suit was nowhere to be seen.
His battered and broken body couldn’t even move an inch, let alone stand up and fight the white-haired young man standing in front of him, nothing but coldness in his white eyes.
“Where is your base?” Gabriel asked, his eyes full of hostility.
No trace of mercy could be seen in those eyes.
Five minutes, that was all the time it took him to kill each and everyone on the base.
All those who were silica died at his hand leaving none behind.
Men, women, children and elderly.
All met the same fate.
Culled at his sword.
And the even more monstrous thing was that Gabriel did all that while fighting an enemy as strong as him but that wasn’t all.
His clean, flawless body, without a single scratch to his body or even his clothes to indicate that he had healed himself, were signs enough that he wasn’t even once nicked in the entire battle.
“They told me you were a monster.” The man before Gabriel said while panting hard, his breath was uneven and not many breaths left in him as well, “But I never expected something like this.
You…” He raised his head and looked at Gabriel, his dim dark eyes gazing into the cold white eyes of Gabriel, as he said, “You defy logic.” “Of course, I do.” Gabriel didn’t extend the conversation for even a second more and cut the head of the silica before him.
Then he turned back to the base and jumped into the air.
Shortly afterward, he landed at one specific spot in the base.
A spot not far away from the wall, a spot where he could see a shriveled body that seemed as if everything in it was absorbed, and what was left behind was only an empty husk.
He knelt down and touched the shriveled-up body.
He was well familiar with this kind of pattern.
The price of magic.
A sacrifice.
The magic used in this case wasn’t anything high grade but the price paid was very high.
Gabriel stood up.
He looked around but found no trace of the person he was looking for, he looked back at the husk of the body and closed his eyes.
[Warning] [Warning] [The user’s emotions are passing the threshold of their limit] [Activating preemptive measures] “Shut up.” […] The system went silent.
In his angered state, even an entity that was controlled solely by his father went silent.
All in fear of him.
But, there was one person who never feared him.
Well, there were many who didn’t, but this one person held a special spot.
[You’re angry, son] [Don’t you want to destroy everything around you?] [It’ll make you feel better] “…” Gabriel remained silent.
He took a deep breath and then cut his hand.
“Ha Mun Re Ni Tepedzi Bala Uthve.” He said the same words as the woman before but with a little addition.
With a little more stability.
[Go] [Destroy everything] ~~ [Stop this] “Ah~~ Lady Allison.
Welcome to New York.” A giddy voice came as a reply to the emotionless one from before.
[Have you learned nothing from your life, Bryce?] “It’s Bruce.
Thank you very much.
And yes, I have learned a lot from it.
That’s why I know my son suppressing his emotions isn’t a good thing.” Bruce replied to the cold emotionless voice.
[That’s not him suppressing his emotions] [That’s you fanning the flames of his anger] “Hahaha.” Bruce chuckled, innocence dripping from his voice as he looked at the dark figure shrouded in darkness before him, the entire world covered in darkness behind that darkness.
His attempt to feign ignorance didn’t fool anybody, certainly not the dark figure in front of him, “Are you enjoying this?
Does this make you happy?” Bruce stopped, but his expression remained giddy all the time as he said, “My son is returning.
Why wouldn’t I be happy?
I’m joyous.” [You want him to turn into the monster you are?] “No.” Bruce replied before he added, “I want him to turn into a better human than me.
Because contrary to what you think, Lady Allison, I’m not a monster.
I’m just what a real human is supposed to be.” […] [Stop him] “…” Bruce remained silent.
He looked at the dark figure for a while before he said, “It’s up to him.” ~~ When I opened my eyes I could see a spotlight pointed at me as if I was expected.
I looked around to see nothing else in the room but I could feel hundreds of presences around me.
Silica, not human.
Yet, one presence among them all was human.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t Becca.
It was someone else.
As for Becca, I couldn’t feel her here.
“Why do you want the girl?” I asked the figure who was the only human in this place.
He looked at me, yet I couldn’t see his face, as he said, “The only way to create a perfect human is through a human.” I didn’t need another answer.
It turned out the one who rap*d Becca wasn’t a human, but a Silica.
“Your expression tells me you realize everything, Gabriel.” I heard the same man say.
He also knew my name like the silica before but this one was different.
This one was on a personal level.
As if he knew me from when I was me, the real me.
“Who are you?” I asked.
“Do you really not remember me?
I thought you didn’t forget anyone?” He said, his voice a little… happy.
As if he felt satisfaction in my puzzlement.
Shortly afterward, the lights in the space where I was began to lighten it up.
In a short while, everything was visible to me.
It was an empty bunker, a giant as* bunker.
Around me were hundreds and thousands of Silica.
Almost ten times more than what I had to face previously on the battlefield, in human form and armed.
However, my attention was on the one person far away in what seemed like an observation area, and behind the glass, he stood there, looking at me.
He was happy.
However, no matter how much I stressed my mind, I couldn’t recognize that face at all.
“You really don’t remember me?” The man asked with a smile on his face before he said, “That’s really hurtful.” “What do you want?” I asked again, another question which I needed to.
I needed to give him a chance.
“I want you dead.” The man said, his expression still as giddy as before.
“A lot of people do.
But they’re usually ones I know.” I replied.
“I don’t know you.” “You know me.” He said, certainty clear in his voice, “You just don’t know me in this vessel.” “That’s not possible,” I said.
“Why?
You think your father is the only one who can do that?” He asked, almost as if insulted by my reply.
But, he misunderstood me greatly.
“No.
He isn’t the only one.
But he is the only one who can do that with stability.” I said.
If picking someone and planting them in another fragment was so easy, any supreme could have done it.
However, the prerequisites were so intense and the power required was so much, that no entity could do that.
Anyone except for God, I think.
Just take me for an example.
When being planted into the world of Isis, I needed many things to match my vessel.
First of all, it had to be without mana.
Second, it had to be a so insignificant life that the laws of the world couldn’t even bat an eye to me when I was planted into this world.
Otherwise, the moment I would have entered this world through a backdoor and my immense power would have become known throughout the world, the world’s laws would have found me.
Then whatever was going on here would have been severely affected.
And last but not least, the most important one, was suppressing my soul.
Souls weren’t weak, they were all strong.
However, my soul was an exceptional one.
Suppressing it and planting it in this vessel would have been an impossible task.
But even if it wasn’t my soul, a soul was still a very deeply complicated thing that even I have never managed to make sense of more than just the basic level.
Yet taking that soul and suppressing the power of that soul, planting it in another vessel, would be impossible.
All the more complicated if that vessel already had a soul.
In my case, Adrian was almost dead when I was replaced so his soul was completely gone.
Right now, I was the sole owner of this vessel.
Granted, it wasn’t like I was born in it, but I was still completely stable.
However, the guy before me… He wasn’t stable at all.
“Your smile on the left side seems forceful.” I said, “Almost as if you’re losing control of your body.” Finally, the smile on the man’s face disappeared.
He sighed and after staring at me like a menace, he grabbed his chin from the left side and removed something metallic embedded into it.
The base of the object was dyed in his skin color so it wasn’t extinguishable, but if focused, one could easily see the difference.
As he removed the object, his face began to droop from the left side until it looked like his skin was melting.
No, not look like it.
It was melting.
His entire vessel was close to exploding.
“Well,” I said, now a smile was on my face, “Aren’t you a beauty?” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Bad_Wolf_7811 Creation is hard, cheer me up!
