335: Where’s the camera?

335: Where’s the camera?

Chapter 335 [HAHAHAHAHAHA] Allison was still laughing at my royal accent.

If it wasn’t the requirement, I would never have spoken in that stuck-up tone.

While it was difficult for me to break the persona now since it was too late, Allison’s amusement was only making it difficult for me to keep it up.

The good news was that the gig was almost up.

There was no need to go deep into realization and show the enemy how strong I was.

A simple, plain, show of destruction to those who would live through this day.

That was all that was needed.

The dead didn’t need to know how strong I was before they died, the living did.

So the final move of my primary sword art was enough to show everyone why I was once the fearsome great devil, Da Mo, of the Murim.

Behind me stood the powerhouses of this continent, their mouth agape at the show of my power, beside me was Tae Yong on her knees which I instantly realized sounded a little dirty, and in front of me was a bloodied old man who had somehow bore the brunt of my attack head on while behind him was the destroyed and leveled landscape that was once full of mountains.

A perfect picture of my strength, one might say.

It was a little strange how the old man had survived but given that I wasn’t at my full strength, it made sense that a strong entity like him managed to survive.

[I thought that was your full strength] A common misconception but wrong as hell.

The skill made me, me from my original world but it didn’t allow me to bend the laws of creation and the laws of this world had a set limit.

I could never go beyond that limit.

So, the skill restored my strength to the limit of this world.

And that was… [Level 800] Only level 800.

If we were considering the real me, then the level assigned to me would be around 5000, and that was me lowballing it.

That was exactly why I never liked coming to fragments this way.

The feeling of losing your power so suddenly was never a pleasant one.

Anyhoo, I needed to deal with this old man first before he did something troublesome.

[You mean the teleportation circle under him?] ‘Yep.’ [Why didn’t you kill him?] ‘He was strong enough to survive.’ [Right] [Totally believable] It was better to not argue with Allison.

For some reason, she was the female version of me, even worse maybe.

It was useless getting anything past her.

Instead, I looked at the old man and said in his language, “Let everyone know.

There’s a guardian on this land.” That should keep them at bay for some time and while it did, I was sure Tae Yong would be able to comprehend the principles of ‘Darkness’, the seventh technique of the Divine Demon sword art.

I never intended to teach her this because she was already quite strong in the world of Murim.

However, now that there was a threat from the outside, leaving her with this was best.

Besides, I was sure she wouldn’t be like Hyun Woo or many before her.

She was already sane enough to not go on a rampage when her daughter was threatened.

[But what if she didn’t?] ‘If she didn’t then…’ My father was a strong man.

He had the power to end many things in the world.

Poverty, illnesses, hunger, abuse, and all sorts of crime.

But in the end, he was one man.

He used to say, God was everywhere.

A man can never be.

In the end, I was a human.

In the end, I had another life to go to.

I couldn’t protect this place always.

If Tae Yong were to turn evil, then she would be the one of many I couldn’t save in time.

A pity.

But also a limit that makes me human.

A reminder one could say.

Anyway, enough with the depressing talk.

The old man soon disappeared and I covered the entirety of Murim in my power to check it out but he wasn’t anywhere on it.

It was safe to assume that he had returned to his home which was good news for me and for the people of this continent.

I looked at Tae Yong who was also looking at me with the utmost respect possible and said, “Be a good person in this life, child.

Make sure those who come after you are too.

You now have what it takes to be the guardian of the Cheonma sect.” The next Da Mo.

She lowered her head and simply said, “I will do my best to not disappoint you, great ancestor.” “Good.” [Say child] [Say child] [Say child] […] […] My ears were bleeding with how much she was saying that so without further ado, I disappeared from the spot and appeared in front of the portal far away.

I entered the portal without giving it a second thought and manipulated the Snow Storm, transferring the ownership to a subordinate of his.

[To a slave, you mean to say] ‘Yes, yes, miss feminist.’ Anyway, the Yin Empress would have control of this artifact so she wouldn’t have to worry about her sect being suppressed by men anymore and live the adventures of feminism carefree.

Of course, with her bound to me, she wouldn’t be able to use it for any nefarious purpose because while she controlled the Snow Storm, I controlled her so ultimately, I controlled the Snow Storm.

[It’s because of controlling men like you women can’t be free] ‘Yeah, yeah.’ [You limit our growth and silence us when we show potential] ‘With you so far.’ [DO THE OLD MAN IMPERSONATION, YOU ENEMY OF WOMEN!!!] ‘Fu*k off.’ ~~ “Haa… Haa…” A woman breathlessly ran in a dark alley, running from something chasing her.

She was afraid to look back but she had no choice but to do so.

She looked back and immediately regretted it, motivation enough to run faster.

What was behind her could only be considered a monster.

A man-shaped monster.

The entire face of the thing was blank, the only thing present on that face was a set of lips and sharp teeth.

The gender of the being following her couldn’t be defined.

Whether it was a man or a woman was unknown.

But the woman knew one thing for sure.

If that thing catches up to her, she will cease to exist.

So she ran faster, and faster until she arrived at a clearing where she suddenly stopped because there was an armed vehicle with armed men on it who yelled, “GET DOWN!” Without a second thought, she dropped to the ground and the men opened fire, raining bullets on the being behind the woman.

It took about 300 rounds to kill that being so the men only ceased fire once it was dead.

Once it was, the woman stood up, her eyes showing relief but also a hint of terror.

“Lady!

Come with us!” She heard the sound of a man who was one of the people who killed the thing chasing her.

However, unlike most, who would have been happy to receive some help, she was all the more wary of the men who saved her.

“How do I know you’re not one of them?” The woman asked.

The man nodded, and as it was a logical question, he took out some sort of liquid and sprayed himself.

Once there was no reaction, only then did the woman truly sigh in relief.

“Come with us.

We’re going to the shelter.” The man said to the relieved woman however, that relief was quick to end when a soldier among the crowd hurriedly yelled, “Cap!

Hostiles incoming!” “How many?!” The man who seemed to be in charge asked.

“F-five hundred.” The reporting man stammered because not ever before such a big crowd had been spotted.

“What?!

Why are there so many together?!” The captain asked before he yelled, “All hands battle stations!

Defensive positions!” While the soldiers arranged themselves in position, the woman ran behind them and hid herself amongst the other survivors.

A soldier quickly checked her the way she had asked the soldier to do.

Once she was proven human and not the thing, she was granted an okay and she hid herself amongst the ones on the back.

The battle instantly began.

Bullets rained down on the things that looked like people.

Some of them died while some of them made it through and finally, the soldiers ran out of ammunition.

All that could be expected now was death.

All they could do was now to prepare themselves for death.

The woman also closed her eyes, knowing there was no running from so many of those things.

The others joined her, waiting for the impending death.

However, it never came.

What appeared instead of it was light.

And no matter how one looked at it, it didn’t seem like the light of salvation.

“What the hell?” A young man’s sound entered the ears of everyone on the field.

The things that were on the verge of attacking the humans also stopped.

Everything stopped.

And in that pin-dropped silence, a single voice broke that silence by asking one simple question, “Where’s the camera?” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Bad_Wolf_7811 Creation is hard, cheer me up!

Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
