The Archangel of Death - Chapter 333
333: Ma Do Cheonma (2) 333: Ma Do Cheonma (2) Chapter 333 The ground caved in as the foundations underneath crumbled due to water.
Liu Kuang smirked as he raised his hand and water shot out from underneath the magic circle which was maintaining the portal.
“I knew it was something important.
That was why I penetrated it with my water since the beginning.” Liu Kuang smugly said as he saw Bernard’s face contort in anger.
The timid expression on his face was nowhere to be seen as he raised his hands and yelled, “YOU DARNED PRIMITIVES!!!” Another chant left his mouth after the curse and as he lowered his hands, a fireball formed on his hand which quickly expanded as he said, “Heavenly meteor!!” It wasn’t the simple spell ‘Meteor’ that Bernard so craved.
It was just one meteor that fell on the field and not even from the sky but from a little height but as it fell, it was enough for everyone to realize that its power was no joke.
Scorching heat enveloped the entire battlefield and the explosion that left the impact, the impact which was formed due to Liu Kuang’s water shield and the elemental shield of the other three demons, a giant explosion that made its presence known far away, shook the earth.
And those who were on the said earth weren’t safe either.
Liu Kuang’s water shield was the first to evaporate, letting flames of the magic attack enter and wreak havoc on the battlefield.
Luckily, he was saved by the lightning demon and escorted far away while those on the battlefield had enough time to retreat thanks to the water shield.
Still, many were caught in its radius and not just that, even the demons weren’t impervious to the strong attack’s impact.
Bernard huffed, his panting even worse than before.
It was like his insides were rearranging themselves.
He coughed blood and fell on the scorched ground.
As he put his hand on it, the ground sizzled as the palm of his hand cooked under the intense heat but he didn’t have enough strength to even grunt in pain let alone move his hand.
All he could was hope that the signal he sent was received.
The spell had already failed.
If the elder failed to pick up this signal as well, they would all die here for sure.
Alas, death seemed close as none of the main players on the other side were injured due to that massive attack.
He was only able to buy some time from the current situation but the cost of that was too heavy.
He was now incapable of joining in the battle anymore.
Thud!
An old man heavily landed in front of Bernard, electric tendrils coming out of his body as he, without a word, raised his hand in the form of a spear and drove it towards Bernard, intent on killing him.
On the other side, Tae Yong also had the buff man on his back, heavily injured and at the brink of death as she raised her sword, ready to pierce his heart when… “Warp.” A single word was heard from far away and both men disappeared from where they were.
The next time they appeared, they were beside an old man who was floating in the air, holding both of the men up.
“Heal.” Once again, he muttered a single word and the near-death state of the men ended in an instant, with both of them having gained their health.
Tae Yong saw the scene with her own eyes and couldn’t help but worry.
With just a few words, the old man had managed to restore the two monsters to full health.
And not to mention, the earlier was to attract this old man over here.
She felt threatened.
For the first time in her life, in front of her, was an opponent that could actually make her worry.
She turned to look at her daughter who stood on the wall, her eyes locked with her.
Tae Yong turned her head back to the old man and prepared herself.
The old man was also looking at her.
Among everyone present, she was the only one who could be called a threat to his army.
To him, however, was an entirely different question the answer to which, the old man knew well enough.
He calmly raised his hand and muttered, “Thunderstorm.” Immediately, a thunderbolt left his hand and flew towards the sky.
Soon after, clouds began to form in the sky, in which, thunderous lightning could be seen flowing everywhere.
The next moment, the lightning began to fall on the people on the ground, burning them to crisps.
Those who weren’t dead were severely injured from the lightning.
Tae Yong raised her sword and slashed the dark clouds in the sky, blowing them away, and canceling the thunderstorm spell.
The old man, unperturbed, raised his hand once again and simply yelled, “Hail.” Strong winds once again befell everyone along with hail that was almost the size of a human head.
As they fell on the ground, and on the people on the said ground, it shattered their skulls, killing them on the spot.
Just like the lightning from before and the fire attacks from the mage earlier, the damage couldn’t be blocked by the Qi barriers of the martial artists for some reason.
The old man wasn’t even done yet.
He raised his hand once again, for the third time, and muttered, “Snow land.” Heavy snow began to fall on the battlefield, and it wasn’t just normal snow.
Normal snow wouldn’t make these martial artists cold in the slightest yet this snow was penetrating their Qi barrier and their thick skins, making them shiver from the inside.
Seeing as dealing with the skills of the old man was not possible, Tae Yong targeted the old man with her sword.
She appeared in front of him in a blink and rained down attacks but no attack could go through the shield that appeared out of nowhere in front of the old man.
“Heavenly Demon sword art: Dance of the Mad Demon.” “Heavenly Demon sword art: Rampage.” Hundreds of moves in one sword technique fell on the old man’s barrier but it remained strong.
All the while, the old man had both of his hands in the air, chanting some strange words that couldn’t be understood by anyone, and soon enough, it was done.
As soon as the old man finished, Tae Yong, as in on instinct, moved back to her sect and yelled, “Defensive formations.” Her gut feeling was true as the old man said the final words and his hands fell, “Meteor.” The sky alighted, and hundreds of meteors fell on earth, towards the heavenly demon mansion.
Tae Yong ran at her full speed but even she was a bit too late.
Boom!!!
Boom!!!
Boom!!!
“NO!!!!” Tae Yong emitted her reddish power at full swing but she couldn’t make it in time.
Her eyes were fixed on just one person who was fighting an enemy with all her might but even then, her legs gave out as the fire in the sky fell on her, the person she loved she couldn’t see anymore.
Despair was quick to set in as she fell on her spot, not having the strength to go even one more step.
Her entire life was the heavenly demon sect and her daughter and at the moment, both of them were gone in an instant.
The worst part was that there was nothing she could do about it.
“How pathetic,” She heard the words of the old man in her ears.
He was standing next to her.
He looked at her straight in the eyes before he said, “That is precisely why you should never have children.
For strong people like us, they are nothing but a shackle.” Tae Yong couldn’t disagree.
Not because the old man was right or wrong, but because she had given up.
The strength of the old man was on another level but that wasn’t just the reason, she had given up because everything she held dear was up in flames.
“Then how the hell were you born, old man?” However, the next second, a voice entered their ears, a familiar voice Tae Yong recognized.
He wasn’t speaking in Mandarin so she couldn’t understand what he was saying but the old man could and when he turned to look in the direction of the source of the voice, he saw a young man, barely twenty standing in the middle of the battlefield, as nonchalant as one could be in the most relaxed way.
“Who are you?
Are you the reinforcements?” The old man, however, didn’t worry about the young man.
He didn’t treat him harshly because he should know better than anyone that looks could be deceiving.
The young man spoke the same language as him so he wasn’t a native.
He must be a man of his land as well given he was speaking his language.
“Well, in a sense, I am.” The young man said before he raised his hand and flicked his fingers slightly and the black smoke and fire rising from the ground behind him cleared in an instant.
A giant white barrier could be seen covering the entire sect and each and every person in and around it.
Tae Yong’s eyes lightened up as she saw her daughter safe and sound, confused as herself.
“I’m the reinforcements for the heavenly demon sect.” The young man said and snapped his fingers.
Tae Yong, who was just next to the old man appeared near the young man who flashed a grin as he said, “You can call me, Ma Do Cheonma.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Bad_Wolf_7811 Creation is hard, cheer me up!
