320: Talents 320: Talents Chapter 320 “Are you excited to meet your beloved after your improvement?” Tae Yong asked Asmara who was breathing roughly because of all the weight on her body.

“I am,” She replied, blushing being the last thing on her mind.

“In my time, the maidens were shyer about that aspect,” Tae Yong remarked.

“Not if you….

know his… nature,” Asmara replied, fully aware of Adrian’s nature.

Adrian wasn’t the type to cuddle or romanticize.

He was the type to go straight for what he wanted and Asmara liked that.

She also didn’t like unnecessary shyness like Alicia and wanted to keep straight between both of them.

“A man who doesn’t show you his inner side.

Are you sure that’s the kind of man you want to end up with?” Tae Yong asked.

“Yes,” Asmara replied without a second thought as if there wasn’t even a fraction for debate.

“Noted,” Tae Yong didn’t pry anymore.

She was doing this to distract Asmara anyway but she wasn’t budging in the least which was very impressive.

Tae Yong didn’t know anything about Asmara’s past to use it against her but given her age, her lover was the best way to distract her or rile her up but she was a complete robot in that regard.

But contrary to what one might think, Tae Yong loved that aspect.

Not liked, but loved.

She loved that out of all her official disciples, Asmara was the only one with the most concentration and she was also the only one who could follow her down to the teeth.

She absorbed her sword theories better than anyone else she ever knew.

She would have asked her to be her official disciple but all the slots were full and Asmara wasn’t interested as well.

It was a pity but Tae Yong couldn’t do anything about that.

In the end, Asmara was an outsider and that status would get in the way if Tae Yong were to ever dismiss one of her disciples to place her in that spot.

Besides, she had a feeling that if she tried to force her, her lover, the young man wouldn’t let her be.

She didn’t know why but she always felt danger from that boy.

But the worst part was that she couldn’t even figure out why she was so scared.

There was nothing about Adrian that made him threatening but Tae Yong didn’t think so.

‘There’s just something,’ Tae Yong said inwardly.

She felt like Asmara knew the extent of danger Adrian represented but Asmara didn’t fear him in that manner to familiarize herself with Tae Yong.

Asmara stood up once Tae Yong lifted all the weight on top of her.

Asmara’s muscles crackled and flexed after their freedom.

If Asmara wasn’t covered, she’d seem more threatening and intimidating than a man.

It was a good thing that Asmara made sure to cover herself.

‘She doesn’t look like a noble lady from any point,’ Tae Yong remarked inwardly but refrained from mentioning that out loud.

Although Qi made her tougher, it still allowed Tae Yong to keep her feminine looks.

However, the mysterious power that Asmara practiced wasn’t something so accommodating.

It gave her an intimidating look and buffed up her body.

She wasn’t buffed to the point she would be made fun of but she was still buffer than a normal woman.

Still what really mattered was her skill and Asmara was picking up on that faster than anyone Tae Yong had ever seen.

While Tae Yong was busy with Asmara, a maid entered the training room, her hands at the front and her head down.

“My lady, the envoy of the imperial family has entered the limits of the Huanan city.” The maid informed Tae Yong who simply nodded and turned to Asmara, “Practice what I have taught you.

We will train later in the evening.” “Are you sure it is alright to tend to me while you have guests?” Asmara asked.

“It wouldn’t have been had the guests been important.

They’re not.” Tae Yong simply replied as if they were a nuisance and left to deal with them while Asmara got back to her own training.

~~ “You have accomplished the first step of your training,” Liu Kuang said as he admired the young girl before him.

A talent he had never seen before.

Even his official disciple, the one who was called the most talented prospect in the entire sect wasn’t anything compared to this.

This girl was the embodiment of talent itself.

“It is all due to your guidance,” Sasha humbly replied though her expression was still serene as ever, letting nothing of her intentions be apparent.

“Your inner energy is still as water now.

What you need to learn now is how to be water itself,” Liu Kuang said.

“So, more drowning?” Sasha asked.

“More drowning,” Liu Kuang patiently replied and threw Sasha in the water again.

While Sasha was being pushed from her head, a servant approached Liu Kuang and relayed the same news which was delivered to Tae Yong.

Liu Kuang nodded and said, “I will be there to greet them.

But do relay that I am busy at the moment and will only come at the end of the meeting.

Possibly after it.” “You cannot do that, master,” Liu Kuang’s disciple replied.

“Haa… Such a tiring life I live,” Liu Kuang said before he pushed Sasha harder with his Qi to increase the pressure of Qi on her.

~~ Like I never left.

[you were gone for three months] Time sure does fly.

Well, looking at the appearances of everyone, it sure did seem like I was gone for quite a while.

Zefton was looking more… polished, I think?

Yep, it was polished.

His skin looked like it was reflecting light.

Was that even possible?

I didn’t know if it was.

Whatever.

Everyone else also seemed changed.

Everyone seemed, very… manly.

And yeah, I wasn’t misinterpreting it.

Even the girls had a threatening air around them.

Hoooottttt…..

But the most change occurred in… [Your party member Rose is now level 399] She was close to SSS rank but it didn’t look like she was able to break through.

Still, she was amazingly processing.

Her rank was going up very fast and at that speed, she wouldn’t be far from reaching rank SSS.

Sasha was the one who was second in improvement.

She was even more emotionless than before.

Outward, at least.

Even I was having a hard time reading her.

She hadn’t just improved in that aspect.

She was also quite close to level 300.

But it wasn’t what I was hoping for.

What I was really hoping was, was for her mana to evolve into the water element and it did.

Now I just have to reverse the aging process of an old man.

And Asmara… Whoof!

Those muscles were bringing me in.

[Didn’t know you were into that type] ‘Well, it isn’t as much her muscles but the globe of fats on top of those muscles.’ They seemed even bigger now.

[You’re incorrigible] “So how did the training go?” I asked, my mood brightened but when they told me what happened… “Tch… they took it easy on you.” Asmara and Sasha looked at me like I deserved to be pierced by pikes and burned to death.

I sighed and said, “Sure, sure.

You did amazing.

It’s your teachers I’m mad at.

How could they take it easy on you?” “As long as you’re properly breathing, you’re not at the edge,” I said but for some reason, their piercing gazes didn’t quiet down.

Quite rude of them.

While we were busy, a servant entered the courtyard of the green pagoda and came straight to me.

She bowed to me as she would have to any of the masters and relayed a message, “The sect master wishes for you to also attend the welcome banquet of the Imperial family.” While it could have been said that I was being ordered to do so, I didn’t mind much.

In the end, we were guests and she was the overlord of this place.

She had all the right to request me to move out of this place.

Asking me to attend this meeting was also not a biggie.

[She wants to show off] Precisely.

Visitors from a land known didn’t come to the rightful owner of the land, which, by the way, was the imperial family, but instead came here.

A simple move to tell the imperial family to not be cocky in her presence.

Of course, it could just as easily backfire but who cared about that?

She was on her home turf after all.

“It’s an honor that she remembered us on such an important occasion.

Tell her we’d be delighted to come.” I replied politely.

The politer I was, the less guilty I’d feel after almost the whole place was destroyed later.

I turned to Rose who was sitting on the far end of the courtyard, still focused on her training, and said, “Rose, you’re coming with me as my main wife.” “What!!!” Mana flared throughout the courtyard and scared the servant who had come to relay the news.

Oh boy.

[You messed up, big time] Five angry pairs of eyes looked at me with bloodlust I’d never seen before.

Wait, why was Sasha also angry?
