318: The circle of life 318: The circle of life Chapter 318 ‘Snow Storm’ wasn’t mine but it belonged to a friend of mine.

It was a bonded weapon so only she could use it.

If anyone else other than her ever tried to use it, they would age very fast.

In simpler words, have their life sucked out of them.

[Then how come you could use it?] ‘Immortality.’ Even if I wasn’t immortal, with me practicing the element of life, I had near infinite life to burn.

‘Snow Storm’, like magic, required life and I had a lot of it to give.

[Let me guess] [You fooled around with that friend?] ‘She was a mother of three.’ [So that’s a no?] ‘Yes!’ What did she take me for?

Anyway, aside from that, the power of ‘Snow Storm’ could never be fully used by someone who wasn’t bonded with it.

‘Snow StormS’, while not on par with my own weapons, was a weapon among weapons.

If we were comparing it, then it was a Supreme Sentient weapon like Eric’smine sword, the sword of the Archangel.

It had its own will and could choose its own wielder but except for my friend, no one else could ever come so close to understanding the essence of the weapon.

This woman, the ‘Yin Empress’ also used that weapon, and from her state, she must have used it more than once.

She wasn’t using it to fend someone off, no, she was trying to bond with it.

But to bond with it, one must hold it and if you hold it, you age.

Everything was pretty straightforward.

[Yet she still used it] [More than once] ‘That’s the temptation of power.’ An addiction that couldn’t be controlled.

“What do you have to offer and what is it that you desire?” The old woman sitting in front of me in a pavilion asked.

I was most likely the first man to be here, as suggested by the killer eyes of the girls looking at me.

“I have you only one thing to offer,” I began, making sure I sounded dramatic, “Life.” She just looked at me.

[That’s it?] “Is that it?” The old woman asked me and had Allison not predicted what she was going to say, it wouldn’t have sounded so annoying.

“What more do you want?” I asked, “You’re dying.

You can barely move and I doubt it is full of dignity going to the bathroom with the help of your disciples.” My words made the women standing behind the Yin Empress mad but they didn’t move from their spot.

My words were disrespectful, sure, but they were the honest truth.

She was pathetic and there was nothing more important than ending it to her.

But she wasn’t brave enough to end her own life and she couldn’t let anyone else do the same because if they were to do so, the fates of her precious disciples would be good.

Her name was keeping the Yin Palace up.

The moment she went down, the rest of it would as well.

But that would soon come to an end as well.

The just faction’s yearly meeting was soon and if she didn’t show up at the meeting, she would be considered to be respectful to the faction, causing them to be outcasts but more important than that, the truly powerful ones would figure out something was wrong and once they did, her sect would end anyway.

I didn’t need to say all that and she knew that as well.

I just brought up the pathetic stuff because that was to hurt her more.

[Real gentleman of you] ‘Thank you.’ “And what do you wish for in return?” The old woman asked.

That’s right.

I was going to call her the old woman throughout the episode.

“The Snow Storm,” I replied, stunning everyone in the room.

The Yin Empress, however, simply looked at me for a while, and after when everyone thought she was going to kick my as*, which she couldn’t, she replied, “We have a deal.” There was a banter ahead from her disciples which was calmed by her and didn’t need me to state all of it.

It was cliché as hell.

Anyway, after half an hour, here we were, ready to go through with this.

Go through what, you ask?

Well, that was a little cruel thing but I made sure the guys I brought with me deserved every bit of it.

“Let us go!” “Unhand me!” “What do you think you’re doing?!” No, it wasn’t what you were thinking.

These guys weren’t bandits who were hurting normal people.

No.

They were nobles and the reason they were here was because they were even more heartless than bandits.

They were carrying out a slave trade and a drug trade in the name of a better life in the big towns.

Kind of like old-school American dreams.

Anyway, I captured all of them, destroyed all types of their trades, killed all those involved in the trades, and captured the ones who were on the younger side because they had more life force than the old ones.

Oh, and I ended the old ones as well.

Some of them were well past their expiration dates so their bowel movements were compromised.

It was fairly disgusting.

I left them tied up back in the forest when I approached the bathing beauties and asked them to bring them once the agreement was up.

There were about three hundred of them and about seventy of them were cultivators.

Not big-time cultivators but it would be enough to turn back the clock by fifty years at least.

“What will we do with them?” The old woman, who was carried by four girls on a palanquin, asked.

“We’re going to play the mummy with them,” I replied.

“What?” She asked me, looking at me like I was a clown.

Ha!

If only she knew how many times had people looked at me like that, she’d know it had zero effect on me.

[You must be so proud of yourself] ‘I actually am.’ “Just shut up and get in the middle of the circle,” I said.

What circle you ask?

The circle of life.

And no, I wasn’t talking about the motivational circle of life but the literal circle of life.

A circle of different sections with one donated to the donation sector while one belonged to the acceptor section.

[Is that how you describe sucking the life out of people?] [Donation?] ‘What else would I call it?’ These scums should be happy their pathetic life was serving the purpose for the first time.

[You’re pretty heartless when it comes to people like them] ‘Believe it or not, but this is mercy.’ If it was up to me, I would have done a lot, lot worse.

Instead, I was going to sacrifice them and use their life force to increase the life force of a hag who was actually in her seventies which wasn’t that young but normally she looked like in her thirties which was hot as hell and turn her back to her hot as hell form.

Just need to add one thing of my own.

“Where is the Snow Storm?” I asked.

A woman, one I slapped earlier, came to me with a very nasty look on her face, carrying a tray in which a crown could be seen.

Believe it or not, that crown was made of ice.

Pure ice from the amalgamation of a Yin mountain.

That thing carried more power than anything else in the world because there was no other powerful artifact as that one.

You had this, you had the world.

Okay now, enough talk.

I took the tray and put it aside.

Then I made sure all of the charitable people I brought were nicely neutralized and placed them in the mini circles in the big circle around the smaller circle in the middle.

That was where the old lady was going to stand.

Once she was in, I placed everyone in and then activated the blood circle.

Oh, yeah, the circle was entirely made of my blood infused with a little bit of life element.

Hence the name, the circle of life.

Once it was activated, all that was left to do was to wait.

The circle activated and once the life started to leave the bodies of the 300 or so people, their bodies shriveled up and turned to husks.

As for the life that left them, it gathered in the shape of a globe and gathered on top of the old woman but it stayed there.

Once she was ready I moved to the middle and cut my hand.

“What are you doing?” She asked me.

“You have to drink my blood for that to enter your body or else it would explode,” I replied as simply as I could.

It worked.

She opened her mouth and I dripped a few drops of blood in her mouth which she quickly gulped.

As soon as she did, the globe of pure light began to enter her body from every orifice it could find.

Oh yeah, from there too.

Anyway, it wasn’t a long process and it sure as hell wasn’t painful.

In just a few minutes, a beautiful woman who seemed to be about thirty-five stood in front of me in sky-blue robes.

A personal note from me here.

A very, very, very, beautiful and hot woman stood in front of me in sky-blue robes.

[Duly noted] She was looking at herself up and down, looking at her arms in astonishment.

Such a thing didn’t exist before after all.

As much as I was happy for her, I had other things to do so I said, “Well then, we’ve both fulfilled each other’s goals.

I should take my leave now.” “Yes, you should,” She said, her voice relaying how happy she was, “Just one thing though.” Oh boy, here it comes.

“The agreement was never about letting you go.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Bad_Wolf_7811 Creation is hard, cheer me up!
