310: The heavenly demon 310: The heavenly demon Chapter 310 The entire audience was stunned, their eyes wide open, and their mouths hanging.

They couldn’t believe what they saw and quite frankly, even if they did, it wasn’t possible for the divine technique of a major sect to be this much mastered by someone.

Not to mention that someone was an outsider, not a resident of Murim.

“Allow me to reintroduce myself,” The white-haired boy spoke, a certain confidence in his voice that couldn’t be concealed even if he wanted to, “I am the fifth prince of the Smith Empire, the inheritor of all the techniques left by the Ma Do Cheonma.

I mastered every technique he left behind and not only did I master them, I perfected them.” The boy raised his sword again, a divine feeling emanating from his sword, “9th Heavens’ Divine Pierce.” A white, not the familiar golden light, emanated from the young man, coursing through his body before it went to his arm.

Then it entered his sword which began to tremble and soon, a beam of white light emitted from the tip of the sword, pointed at Tae Yong who stood still.

Tae Yong remained in her place and simply raised the tip of her sword at the incoming white beam.

Boom!!!

The white beam collided with Tae Yong’s sword’s tip.

A shockwave spread to the surroundings, pushing those who weren’t strong above a certain level.

As for Tae Yong, she had to expend a small amount of her Qi and she didn’t even budge from her spot.

She wasn’t even pushed slightly by that strike.

‘She’s damn strong.’ Adrian thought as his sword pattern changed.

Now it was emitting scorching heat but it wasn’t golden in color but white.

A white flame covered his sword as he raised it and brought it down in a slash, “Yang Dragon’s scorching dance.” A dragon that didn’t act like a dragon.

It wasn’t slithering but flying through the arena as if it were the overlord of that field.

As it diagonally landed on Tae Yong, enveloping her entire being, Tae Yong swirled her sword as her demonic energy swirled around her entire body, keeping her protected from the white flame.

Then she made the swirling waves collide with each other, exploding the entire space around her.

Once again, her energy and Adrian’s technique clashed, creating another explosion that let the entire arena know of the power of both fighters.

Granted, Tae Yong was strong.

But she had dismissed one crucial point.

Adrian’s energy was divine, like it was the most holy thing in the world while hers was demonic.

They clashed together every time their exchanges collided with each other.

The clash resulted in a strong force due to the rejection of both powers.

While Tae Yong’s power was stronger, Adrian’s power was purer.

A conflict of power and purity.

That conflict was keeping this match on for this long.

Otherwise, if Tae Yong didn’t want to see the limits of the boy in front of her, then she wouldn’t have let this match get so far.

Not to mention, the boy was just getting started.

Adrian moved in, his sword up high and he gave one slash.

Tae Yong moved her sword to the three different points of her body, not one point where the slash was going but the sounds of three clangs changed everyone’s minds.

Three strikes were hidden behind a veil of illusion while the obvious strike was a feint.

However, Tae Yong knew better.

She extended the palm of her hand in front of her and a barrier of Qi appeared in front of her.

Clang!

Her barrier, which although didn’t shatter had obvious cracks on it.

The real strike was still the one that could be seen.

The three hidden strikes were the feint.

What followed next was a stream of attacks consisting of slashes, pierces, and stabs, each more deadly than the last one and containing more power than anyone in the arena could have followed.

What was strange and made this fight difficult was the mixture of moves.

No one knew what came next.

No move was followed by a subsequent move of the same technique.

Each technique and each move was from a different sword art.

If the slash was from a just faction, then the subsequent reverse slash was from the evil faction.

So many divine moves that the leaders of the several factions couldn’t even master were demonstrated by the white-haired boy whose attacks were relentless and unending.

If that wasn’t enough, then with each exchange, the intensity of the attack was getting stronger.

With each passing moment, after each attack, the next attack would be faster, sharper, and stronger.

The audience couldn’t tell but the one doing the fighting could.

Tae Yong could tell the evident difference in each attack.

It was barely noticeable because it was barely a difference.

But a difference each time after hundreds of attacks was something even she had to pay mind to.

If that wasn’t enough, then the fact that there was no opening was even worse.

Granted, she hadn’t properly tried to attack yet and once she did, she’d be able to make an opening but other than that, there was no opening in the boy’s moves.

One thing his sword never lacked was precision.

The pinpoint attacks in Adrian’s movements were alarming, even for Tae Yong herself.

Clang!

So she fought back.

She put in more Qi in her attacks and gave more in return.

Sure, she couldn’t attack.

But there was nothing stopping her from blocking and when she did, she just put in more power than usual, invading Adrian’s system with her own Qi, damaging him from the inside.

Adrian’s movements faltered.

Just for a second, she could sense a little delay in his attacks.

His arm was numb.

That in itself was a great achievement.

Being able to bear her Qi and getting away with just a little numbness.

Tae Yong had to admit that this boy in front of her was a real talent.

A boy that could rival her in just a few short years.

The rest of the audience, however, didn’t share her view.

A child who could go against the heavenly demon even if it was just a friendly spar was no ordinary child.

He was barely stepping into the world of men and he was stronger than most of the men present in the audience, not to mention the old men who had experience in droves under their belt.

Looking at the young boy who was as strong as them, they all felt a threat they hadn’t before.

Before it was just an outsider group of children but now, seeing the power of the white-haired boy, they couldn’t help but be worried because that was the same boy they had invited into their home.

And there wasn’t even the slightest indication of him being a friend.

If that person turned out to be a foe, then the fate of the sect wouldn’t be a good one even with the sect master present.

“Damn, you’re strong,” But the two involved parties didn’t give a squat about all of that.

Tae Yong was busy trying to get one hit in without putting too much power in and Adrian was too busy trying to get her to move her left hand which she still hadn’t moved since the beginning of that spar.

To Tae Yong, it didn’t matter anymore whether or not this boy was a friend or a foe.

It didn’t matter what this boy held with him and what he wanted from her.

And it most certainly didn’t matter what her sect thought about him.

All that mattered was finding an opening while keeping things on equal footing.

Putting in more power than the boy would be unfair and she didn’t like unfair fights.

She had battled hundreds of martial masters but not one of them possessed the fighting techniques as this barely young man.

His prowess was on another level that couldn’t be matched by anyone and the added factor of immense fighting skills.

This was no ordinary boy and a great material for strengthening her own fighting techniques for when she thought she couldn’t progress any further in any direction, this boy had shown her how expert he was in battle compared to her.

[Heed of the demonic god] A storm of Qi emitted from her, trying to disrupt Adrian’s movements but Adrian moved to the side and swirled his sword.

He executed a sword technique that couldn’t be analyzed because of how many sword movements were crammed into it and washed away the demonic Qi in an instant.

Of course, he had to expend great power himself but he made so to finish it in an instant because, although he didn’t appear to be so, he was also struggling with Tae Yong at the moment.

He wasn’t just fighting; he was fighting without holding anything back.

Full power from the beginning.

There was nothing held back in his attacks from the start.

He had executed some techniques that made his attacks shaper and faster as time passed but the base of his power was the same.

Yet, the woman hadn’t moved her arm.

She hadn’t so much as flinched or trembled from all that pressure.
