The Archangel of Death - Chapter 236
236: The weapon of beauty 236: The weapon of beauty Chapter 236 The biggest strategy in a war is rattling your opponent.
Trapping him.
In other words, winning a war without a war.
But it wasn’t as easy as it sounded.
Many died in such a strategy.
Well, of course, many on the other side.
Because to a general, his own side always came first.
How many died on the other side, no matter how many of them innocents, he never cared about any of that.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t.
Even though I knew it wasn’t all real, I couldn’t just let normal people die, innocents at that.
So, let’s party.
“This is your strategy?” Asmara asked as I lazed around in the middle of the city.
“Yep,” I replied.
I enjoyed the company of a blessed redhead while people ate.
And I mean they really ate.
Tonight was an open buffet.
The price for that was just leaving the city and they were willing to do so.
With Sasha’s help, we were evacuating everyone from here.
Their destination was the dead fat duke’s city.
The test was supposed to last two weeks.
We took three days dealing with the infiltration and then the dungeon.
And then we ended up taking seven days in the evacuation of the public.
With the shortage of food, some wise soldiers also left with their families.
The only problem was that the duke’s loyal guard, the only powerful entity didn’t along with almost five thousand soldiers.
It was still a good number of army which meant the reserved food in the castle would be gone in a few days.
But we didn’t have a few days.
We had only four.
So tonight was also an infiltration mission.
One the other side might expect, with my targeted attack on the granary, it was obvious what I was trying to do.
Hence why I brought Asmara.
She would be my little partner tonight.
After all, she was a sight to behold.
She could easily distract a few guys.
Tonight will decide whether or not I will be going with Allison’s request or not.
Whether I will be adding Asmara as my partner or not.
“And do I really have to dress like this?” She asked.
“Ahan,” I said as I didn’t hide my gaze from her top from where her blessings were almost spilling out.
Remember the dress that Sophien’s scumbag father made her wear to seduce me?
Well, turned out it was rotting in my inventory.
And it also turned out that it fitted Asmara perfectly.
Just not in the chest department.
But that wasn’t a bad thing in the least.
No.
It was ama~~zing.
“What?” I asked as I had to tear my gaze from her chest as she was drilling holes in my body with her stares.
How rude of her to stare at me like that.
“I’m just wondering how could someone be so shameless?
Not even bothering to hide his lechery.” She said with her eyes narrowed.
“It would be a sin to mankind to not appreciate this kind of beauty,” I said in my defense.
“Really?
That’s your plan?
Flattery?” She asked.
“Works every time,” I replied.
“You’re hopeless.” She said.
“And you’re beautiful,” I replied with a smile.
She chuckled.
Most likely couldn’t hold it in.
“See?” I asked, proving my point.
“Right.” She said before she took the lead, swaying her hips intentionally as she said, “I will be a wench tonight but if a man touches me, I’m not holding back.” “Wouldn’t expect you to,” I said as I followed her, my eyes on the swaying mission.
******************* “They do know they’re in a test, don’t they?” Michelle asked standing next to Desmond whose eyes were also on the magical crystal displaying the test.
Desmond looked at her and said, “They’re doing good.
Adrian knows how to use his head.” “That’s not what I’m talking about.
How can they so openly fool around?
And isn’t he already committed?” Michelle said.
“It’s not strange for noblemen to have many wives.” Desmond said before he added, “And it’s not like she doesn’t know that.
Yet she’s still allowing it.” “Right.
Blame it all on the woman.” Michelle said, offended.
“I didn’t say that.” Desmond said before he clarified, “You know as well as I do that we cannot interfere in their lives.
They want to flirt.
They can as long as it doesn’t affect the mission.” Michelle remained quiet to that.
It was true what Adrian was doing was the real purpose of the test.
Something that had only been figured out by one student in the last century.
Even the current headmaster of Bellator didn’t know of it.
“Why did he take the hard route and waste so much time?
He could have just as easily let the people fight the duke.” Michelle said.
Desmond didn’t have a reply for that.
It had become clear to him from Adrian’s nature that he didn’t like involving irrelevant people, especially innocents who had nothing to do with anything, in his fights.
What he didn’t understand was the fact that Adrian would even consider the people in the artifact real.
‘What are you doing?’ Desmond wondered inwardly because he couldn’t make heads to tail what Adrian was doing.
************** “Kaugh!!!” A man grunted as his back was shattered to pieces by a hit from behind.
He had been lured by a lovely girl and just as he was about to touch her, he was killed from behind, with his last sight being so magnificent that he didn’t even remove his eyes from that spot as he fell.
“Was that for serious?” Asmara asked as she incredulously witnessed the seventeenth man’s gaze fixated on her as he died.
“Men are pigs.” Adrian simply replied as he stored the dead body in his inventory.
[The stored object cannot be taken outside of the restricted space] “All men are lechers?” Asmara asked.
“Absolutely.
A man is made to appreciate a woman just like how a woman is made to be appreciated by a man.
It doesn’t matter if she covers herself from head to toe, she will still attract a man’s gaze.” Adrian said as he signaled to his next target.
“So men would assault a woman no matter what?” Asmara asked.
“Of course.
Give him an option and he will, most of the time.” Adrian said.
“Even you?” She asked.
“As long as I have the consent,” Adrian said.
“What does that mean?” Asmara asked.
“Only if a woman likes that.” Adrian clarified.
“What woman would like that?” Asmara asked confused with Adrian’s words.
“There are many fetishes,” Adrian replied.
“What is that?
Something to eat?” Asmara asked.
“Exactly,” Adrian said as he signaled her to get in position.
Asmara once again got into her position and just stood in her place where the man would soon arrive.
As he did, he saw a beautiful red-headed woman scantily dressed at that time of the night.
Even an idiot would know that something was up in that situation but the soldier, just like all the rest before opened his mouth as his chin practically hit the ground and he made his way to Asmara all dumb without any precaution and all the care in the world.
Just like the rest before, Adrian killed him and just like others before, his gaze was fixed on Asmara’s top even as he was dying in pain.
“This does not make me happy,” Asmara said.
“What doesn’t?” Adrian asked.
“Being used,” Asmara said.
“Asmara,” Adrian looked at her and said, “You were born with the most destructive yet natural weapon and you use it all the time.
Now, you’re just using it while being aware of it.” “I have never taken advantage of my body ever,” Asmara said, quite offended by Adrian’s remark.
“Not knowingly,” Adrian replied.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” She asked.
“Why do you think you have won every single duel at the academy?” Adrian asked.
“Because I’m better than everyone else,” Asmara said.
“I doubt that and deep down, you do too.
And you never wondered why you had so many spectators?” Adrian asked.
Asmara didn’t say anything.
She just looked at Adrian without saying anything, her eyes staring deeply at him.
“You too?” She asked.
“Me what?” Adrian asked.
“Look at me like that?
If you have a chance to do anything to me, would you?” She asked.
“As long as you’re okay with it,” Adrian said.
“And if I’m not?” She asked.
“Then no,” Adrian said.
“Even though I’m beautiful?” She followed with another question.
“Even if you were presented to me on a silver platter, I wouldn’t eat you up just because you’re beautiful,” Adrian said and somehow Asmara knew Adrian wasn’t talking about actually eating her.
Asmara kept looking at him, and asked, “Then why would you if not for my beauty?” Adrian sighed as he said, “You’re a wonderful woman Asmara.
And you know why I think so?” “Why?” She asked.
“Because you had an easy life ahead of you if you were to marry me.
People seek the easy way out.
You didn’t.
You’re a strong independent woman who was born with a gift many would kill for and many would lust after.
You took the hard way out and that’s what attracts me to you.” Adrian said while placing his hand on her shoulder.
Asmara’s’ attire changed to her previous one.
She didn’t look away.
She just kept staring into Adrian’s eyes as Adrian said, “Now you have two options ahead.” Adrian leaned in and said, “Either you ask me to put the dress on and we do what we were doing quietly,” before he slipped past her face and whispered into her ear, “Or we risk our lives and create mayhem.” As Adrian moved back, he saw a smile on Asmara’s face.
A charming smile but to the onlookers, it wasn’t charming at all as it wasn’t filled with beautiful destructiveness.
It was a smile of pure unbridled destruction.
Adrian smiled as he had obtained his answer.
