194: Blood Moon (1) 194: Blood Moon (1) Chapter 194 The cursed forest.

A forest in the novel that was forbidden for all the races.

Even the empire wouldn’t invade this forest because of the beings that lived here.

And the reason I was here was that very same reason.

Because the race that lived here was a bit different.

Although all of the other denizens of this earth were wary of them, the one race that was wary of them, and hated them the most were the vampires.

And my current targets were the vampires so that made sense why I was here.

AAAOOWWW!!!!

A howl came from inside the forest even before I could step into the forest.

I smiled and entered the forest, happy by the fact that the residents of the forest were waiting for me.

As soon as I did, I was surrounded by a few people, standing some distance away from me.

Their red glowing eyes scrutinized me from head to toe.

I smiled and said, “Take me Seznor.

I have a proposal for him.” The people with red eyes looked at each other as one of them howled loudly.

Some more howls were heard in the distance and after a few seconds, the howls stopped.

Then a minute later, another howl was heard that shook the entire forest.

The one who had howled turned to me and said in a heavy voice, “Follow me.” His simple words were enough to tell me that I had gotten permission to enter.

They began to run deeper into the forest and I followed them along.

Given their stamina and endurance, their pace was pretty decent but I had no problem keeping up with them.

After an hour of running, we arrived at the deepest part of the forest.

The red-eyed individuals increased from eight to twenty, from twenty to fifty, and then a hundred which then soon increased to the number to almost a thousand.

And fun fact was that these thousand individuals weren’t the strongest in the forest as well.

The strongest of the forest was in the deepest part of the forest.

Soon, I was led to a cave whose opening was the size of a small building.

But the inside of the cave was three times bigger than the outside.

The cave was divided into sections and the presence in each of those sections was something that could overturn the entire world out there.

That was the reason why even the Cortum empire wouldn’t dare to invade this forest.

Because the king of this forest had so many strong soldiers that no nation on Isis would be able to win against them.

I was soon led to the deepest part of the cave, where there were three caves side by side.

The two caves on each side of the biggest cave had the presence of a divine-ranked being coming from each of them.

And the final one, the middle one, held none other than a guardian-ranked being.

This forest would have been my wet dream for experience but I knew I would survive in here for long because of this entity in the middle cave.

As soon as I stepped in, he would find me in an instant and kill me, easily.

His stats alone were in the 2000s so there was no way a guy like me with stats averaging 800 would survive against him, let alone face him.

I stepped forward and entered the cave.

I had to be honest, I had been a strong entity myself and had been in the presence of many even more strong ones.

But this one managed to suffocate even me slightly.

I shook my head and entered.

Upon entering, I saw two glowing blue eyes in the darkness.

Even with my senses, I couldn’t see inside the cave, that was how dark it was in there.

However, thanks to his considerations, some torches began to light themselves at the walls of the room and everything in the cave became visible to me.

“It has been a while when a human, brave or stupid, has ventured to the cursed forest on their own.” The man, who seemed to be in his mid-forties, had a buff appearance but a handsome face, and glowing blue eyes.

“And which one am I?” I asked.

“Both.

Brave enough to come here and stupid enough to look me in the eye.” The man said that made me smile.

I admit that his presence was quite strong but in the end, I was used to presences that could blow up this world, not to mention I was one of those presences so I didn’t fear him.

I was wary of him, but not scared of him.

I came here with a plan like I always did.

And if that plan failed, then like always, there was a plan B in my arsenal.

“Well, then I would leave it up to you to decide how to treat me.

Like an idiot or with honor.” I said.

“Hahaha.” He laughed lightly which, to be honest, was also suffocating with my pathetic stats.

He shook his head slightly and asked, “What do you want?” “I want to make a deal,” I replied with a second’s tardiness.

“And what kind of deal would that be?” He asked.

I smiled and prepared myself, the next moment would decide whether I activate my plan or not, “How would you not like your children to kill and eat each other on this blood moon?” The inherent racial drawback of werewolves, no matter in what universe or in what world, was always the same.

Their bloodlust and hunger.

On each full moon, a werewolf loses rationality and becomes a bloodthirsty monster that eats up everything in its path.

However, the blood moon was different.

On the night of the blood moon, the power of the werewolves would increase by three times during that of the normal full moon, but it would also make them hungrier.

Hypothetically, a werewolf’s power during a blood moon increased by 30%.

Their hunger would increase by the same.

But during a blood moon, their power would increase by a whopping 100%, meaning this guy before me would literally become one of the Supremes of this world, the so-called gods, just not locked behind a realm but free and out in the open.

However, their hunger would also increase by 100%, making it difficult for them to rationalize who they were killing.

Normally, a werewolf had enough rationality not to hunt their own and they could even bind themselves, and hold back from eating anything.

But on the night of Blood Moon, even this guy before me would become hungry.

Although he had enough practice to hold himself back, the others didn’t.

They would eat each other and he, and some other strong ones, would have to stop them.

The kill count would be phenomenal and for that, these guys would accept whatever deal I gave them.

This man, a werewolf, thought that I was joking around because the next second, a hand grabbed me by my neck before I could even blink.

“I suppose you are stupid; given how you would say such nonsensical things.” The man said.

I chuckled at his words and asked, “And what if I am not?” “Then I would say that you are stating an impossible claim and not to take it too lightly because I will kill you.” The man said to me.

I smiled and said, “I can do it.

I’m here, aren’t I?” Even he couldn’t deny this fact.

No one was stupid enough to come here, where no other race, even combined races wouldn’t dare to come, and claim that they could cure their bloodlust during the blood moon.

“So you say you can help us?” He asked, just to be sure once again.

“As soon as you let go of my neck, sure,” I replied, although he wasn’t pressing too hard and letting me breathe, it was awkward hanging in the air and being holstered by my neck.

He chuckled and let go of me.

Once he did, he returned to his makeshift throne and sat in it and once he was settled in, he asked, “And, what do you want in return?” I had mentioned a deal, didn’t I?

A deal only worked two ways so it was obvious I would ask for something if I was giving him something.

“For a year, you won’t come under the effect of the blood moon.

Not even a normal blood moon, but in that year, you would have to do me a favor two times.” I proposed.

The favor of a Guardian-ranked being was worth more than anything but what I was offering was enough for him to offer his lifetime loyalty.

I was only asking for a small favor in return.

So small, that even he himself couldn’t find it a little suspicious but he didn’t say anything about it.

After all, my claim was still just a claim after all.

“Very well.

I will decide after I confer with my pack.” He said but I didn’t let him go with that approach.

I was running out of time but I also needed to make sure that he also understood that he was running out of it as well.

“You might want to hurry up because Blood Moon is only five hours away.” I urged, he could sense the urgency in my voice but he didn’t say anything about it.

Like I said, if I was short on time, he was as well.

“Okay.

Let us do things your way.” He said as he settled in and said, “What do you need to cure us?” I smirked as I said, “Just a little drop of blood.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Bad_Wolf_7811 Creation is hard, cheer me up!
