“You have to excuse small chick, he had a little accident earlier.” They all heard a voice, only the difference was that the owner of the voice was casually sitting on the seat where Horned Lion was.

No one said a thing, they were too shocked to do so in the first place.

Someone had entered, undetected, from only one door where a person was already standing, of a fairly high rank even yet still somehow this person had managed to make it in.

“Now who the hell are you?” However, Horned Lion was too angry to care.

He came in front of the intruder and grabbed him by the collar.

The intruder simply smiled in return before he said, “You should let go.” “Or what?” Horned Lion asked as he shook the intruder.

“Let him go.” Big Poppa said.

Horned Lion turned to him, without letting the intruder go, and asked, “Is he one of yours?

This better not be a joke because I will do worse things to him than you can imagine.” “I’m not.” The intruder nonchalantly said as he leaned back, allowing Horned Lion’s hand to still be on his collar.

“He’s not.

He is the fifth imperial prince of the Cortum empire.

I don’t need to remind you what would happen if we were to deal with this too recklessly, right?” Big Poppa revealed the identity of the intruder and warned Horned Lion as well.

Horned Lion, on the other hand, just remembered what happened to another one of the gang leaders just a few hours ago.

Cold sweat formed on his neck as he let go of the intruder and stepped back.

He didn’t apologize though because that would make him look weak.

Big Poppa, turned to look outside, at the cut-up human flesh pile.

He couldn’t help but shiver on the inside but composed himself as he asked, “What would be the meaning of this, Your Highness?

I didn’t know we were on unfriendly terms.” Since Big Poppa seemed to be acquainted with the intruder, the others let him deal with the situation.

Maybe there was something they were missing.

“Unfriendly terms?

When were we ever on friendly terms?” Adrian asked as if Big Poppa’s words couldn’t be more wrong.

That made the others doubt whether Big Poppa should be leading the conversation or not.

“Maybe, maybe not.

But we have done some business in the past, I am willing to believe that we can have a peaceful conversation because of that.” Big Poppa tried to reason, referring to their past and only transaction.

After that, Big Poppa kept his eyes open for Adrian to return so he could buy more of the miraculous potion that made him strong among all the other gang leaders.

Adrian smiled as he leaned back and said, “Oh come on now.

You don’t really think we can be friends by doing business just once, do you?” Everyone turned to each other but they were at a loss as to what to do.

Finally, Horned Lion said, “I don’t think His Highness really understands his current situation.” The others worriedly looked at each other while Adrian simply chuckled and said, “Then why don’t you make me aware of it.” Horned Lion smirked and said, “You are in dangerous territory.

I doubt anyone knows you are here, and even if someone does, you may have just fallen victim to the strange phenomenon in the evening.

There is no evidence of us doing anything.” The others, enlightened once again glanced at everyone.

Adrian on the other hand, laughed out loud and said, “Now that’s a surprise.

You wouldn’t think this guy can use his head with that nasty personality of his.” Still, there was nothing to worry about.

Horned Lion said, “And now that you know that, why don’t you come clean with your motive?” Of course, they wouldn’t be so reckless to an imperial family member.
