160: Dungeon spree 160: Dungeon spree Chapter 160 “The final between you and Rose has been canceled.

A winner will be chosen due to a meeting among the staff and after that, this coming day by tomorrow, we will begin the tournament match with the second-year finalist contestants.” Sirius informed me of everything.

I contemplated for a while.

Winning the tournament had nothing for me.

The top two contestants would get items, crystals, and such but none of them were useful to me so whether I was first or second didn’t matter.

Of course, becoming first matters to me a lot due to my mentality but I was willing to let go of that for Rose, the only reason I was willing to make exceptions for myself.

And then there was my other request.

A request I wanted to cash in for the potions I would be donating to the Dungeon of Diamonds’ hunters.

“You can make me second and give the rewards to Rose.

I won’t be attending the ceremony tomorrow so give mine to Rose as well.” I stated my demands and he had no problem agreeing to them so he nodded and asked, “If you won’t be here, then where will you be?” “About that, I have a request,” I said with a smile.

===== “In reality, there are only seven dungeons to the public but even those that are hidden are falsified in the report.

In truth, Bellator has almost 150 dungeons out of which, there are thirteen B ranks and four A ranks.

According to your request, there are two unclear A ranks and six B ranks.” Sirius said as he guided me to the teleportation room of the academy, reserved only for the staff.

As we arrived, the staff was very surprised to see us together.

Sirius delivered some institutions and the teleportation circle was up and running.

Soon, a man of about mid-thirties joined us.

“This is Volan.

He will be guiding you today.” Of course, Sirius as the headmaster of the academy couldn’t guide me personally so I was arranged to be guided by this random dude instead.

He didn’t seem someone important so I didn’t bother looking into him.

His task was just to get me to the dungeons and once I cleared one, guide me to the next one.

I reserved the A ranks for the last and decided to clear the B ranks first.

[Name: Adrian Von Deus Lux LV: 260 [EXP 30,690100,000] Age: 17 Race: Human HP: 26402640 MP: 31103110 STR: 454 AGI: 414 END: 704 PER: 404 INT: 654 CHR: 944 LUCK: 324 AP: 0] My level was coming along well and even with the 55% DeBuff, my stats were in the limit of the beginning B rank so I was fairly confident of clearing the B rank dungeons but as for the A ranks, I wasn’t confident in the least.

Hence why I left them for the last when I would have cleared all the B rank dungeons and raised my stats by a bit.

“Let’s go,” I said to Volan who nodded and took the lead.

He was the first one to step into the teleporter and I followed him.

The teleporter activated and our surroundings changed in a little bit.

“The dungeon we are going is called the dungeon of deranged imps.

They are small like goblins but bigger than usual imps.

They are also stronger than them.

The boss of the imps is at the B+ rank and it is recommended to clear this dungeon with a team of ten B ranks and an A rank.” Volan debriefed me as we made our way to the dungeon.

“When will your team arrive?” He asked me once we were at the entrance of the dungeon.

I guessed that this guy wasn’t told all the information.

I smiled and said, “I will be going in alone.” He stared at me as if he had heard me wrong.

He fingered his ear and said, “What?” “I said I would be going in alone,” I repeated myself which was all the answer he needed, to erupt.

“Have you gone crazy?!” He asked loudly.

The guards also turned to us, wondering what was going on.

I shook my head and sighed, looked like I would have to explain myself, “Look man, I was authorized by the headmaster himself.

Do you think he doesn’t know about my intentions?

Of course, he does and he still allowed me anyway.

So don’t worry and just wait here.” I said as I patted his shoulder and made my way to the entrance of the dungeon.

He didn’t reply because even he felt my answer was logical no matter how illogical it sounded.

I pushed the useless thoughts back to my head and took a step forward when Volan’s voice entered, “How many days should I wait for you here?” I turned my face to him and answered with a smile, “Two hours at most.” I didn’t wait for his reply and entered the dungeon.

As soon as I did, a pungent smell assaulted my nostrils that was so bad like a rotten corpse for a week.

I equipped a purifier mask I used in the bat dungeon and made my forward.

The smell was still there but very little in intensity.

I would have only taken a few steps when I came across a group of shorty’s.

They were slightly red and smaller than goblins.

Their ears were pointy like elves and their bellies were potted.

Just as I noticed them, they noticed me as well and attacked me like a deranged person with no tactic.

Now I understood where and how they got their name.

[Sacred blessing] [Celestial guard] [Magic cannon] My main focus was on increasing my skill EXP so that against these little monsters that were no harm to me, I would be going all out because even if I ran out of mana, I wouldn’t be in much danger.

There wasn’t even a need to worry because one magic cannon tore through two of them, making a hole in their bodies.

I used more magic cannon and killed the rest in a blink.

As expected, this dungeon was too easy for me.

[You have slain a B- rank enemy x7] [You have obtained 70 EXP] [You have obtained 700,000 coins] [You have obtained a B- rank mana crystal x7] [You have slain a B rank enemy] [You have obtained 100 EXP] [You have obtained 100,000 coins] [You have obtained a B rank mana crystal] I hadn’t received mana crystals in a long time after my hunt at the bat dungeon so I didn’t expect to pick them up here as well but they were surely coming in droves.

Another thing that I realized was that this dungeon wasn’t probably divided into floors because there was a B rank imp mixed in with these guys so this was probably one floor, a network of caves, and the final boss was a B+ rank.

I decided to let go of the useless thoughts and made my way in, and soon enough, I came across another group.

It was smaller than the earlier one but there were two B ranks this time.

[Magic cannon] I used ‘magic cannon’ three times and killed one B rank and all of the four B- ranks.

I left one of them alive to see how I would fare in terms of strength.

Since my INT was too high, killing them using skills was very easy but my physical stats, except for my endurance, were all lower than the monster in front of me.

The Imp was small so the area I needed to guard most was my waist and legs.

It slashed at me and as I had expected, the attack came to my legs.

I dodged by pulling myself back but unexpectedly, the Imp jumped into the air and slashed at my face.

Thanks to my endurance, the damage I received was very low but the fact that I couldn’t follow its movements properly suggested that I was also slower in terms of speed.

And not only that but that Imp seemed to have used a skill at the end that made its slash faster than before.

I stepped back and tried to capture the Imp with my hands but once again, it slipped away.

It seemed like I wouldn’t be getting anything out of this.

I just wanted to gauge my physical limits and except for my endurance thanks to the second step of the Penta enhancement array, the rest of my physical traits are really low.

Since I wasn’t the type to grow up with hardships thanks to the system, there was no need to prolong this fight anymore.

[Magic cannon] One cannon and the head of the Imp was long gone.

[You have slain a B- rank enemy x4] [You have obtained 40 EXP] [You have obtained 400,000 coins] [You have obtained a B- rank mana crystal x4] [You have slain a B rank enemy x2] [You have obtained 200 EXP] [You have obtained 200,000 coins] [You have obtained a B rank mana crystal x2] Getting rewards was the most satisfying part of the system.

However, the amount of EXP for my current requirement was laughable.

[EXP 31,100100,000] I can clear this dungeon ten times a day and I would barely gain a level.

One thing was sure, I wasn’t getting any level out of this but like I already said, that wasn’t my true goal.

The element of life was at its second strand.

I would require just a quarter of one strand to make it up to three strands.

For that, I have decided to purchase a shitload of artifacts from the shop containing divine energy but their prices are quite a lot.

Hence I would need at least two billion shop gold coins for my purpose.

Currently, I had about 400 million shop gold coins.

If I earn the same from B ranks and then a million from A ranks, I would be able to at least jump to the point of one billion.

Then I would also have monster carcasses and mana crystals to sell in the shop.

I stored the Imp bodies in my inventory and moved on.

On the way to the boss’s room, I scoured throughout the dungeon and killed all of the Imps.

As expected, the highest of the Imps was at B rank, no B+ rank Imp was there.

Still, like goblins, their numbers were very high as well.

Almost two hundred B- ranks and about sixty of B rank, giving me quite a bit of gold coins.

[You have slain a B- rank enemy x198] [You have obtained 1980 EXP] [You have obtained 19,800,000 coins] [You have obtained a B- rank mana crystal x198] [You have slain a B rank enemy x63] [You have obtained 6300 EXP] [You have obtained 6,300,000 coins] [You have obtained a B rank mana crystal x63] The gains were a lot.

The magic crystals alone would be a lot of gains but the gold coins were also in about twenty-five million.

Of course, given the amount I required, it wasn’t that much.

And in the case of EXP, well, it was disappointingly low.

Given my level, it wasn’t very efficient coming here but given my stats, this was the only place where I could grow slowly at least.

[EXP 39,380100,000] The EXP gain from about an hour’s work wasn’t even ten thousand.

And I still needed to clear five more B rank dungeons so I only expected to gain a level at most before I would have to move to the A-rank dungeons.

I will try to enter a floor-type dungeon first so I can increase my level in the A- monster area first and then go ahead.

While planning, I arrived at the Boss room, and without further ado, I entered the last cavern.

Just as I did, my eyes fell on an Imp that was almost my size, its height reached my chest.

I wouldn’t even have entered properly when it jumped at me with a speed that was hard for a B+ rank monster.

[Celestial guard] [Sacred blessing] [Magic cannon] I also didn’t think about anything else and went full-out against it.

I was low on time after all.
