“Where are we going?” One of the gang leaders asked but I didn’t reply.

I simply waved my hand as he fell in pain as I said, “Any question will be met with this answer.” And then, no one asked anything.

There were a few murmurs in the crowd but that didn’t slow us down.

Finally, we arrived at the place where I had faced the undead knight.

Seeing that there was no other surprise waiting for me, I moved bringing the caravan of people along with me, and arrived at another corridor.

There was no sign of any undead here so we kept on moving until we arrived at a hallway just like the one where I had faced the undead knight.

And there it was, sitting in a similar setting like it was waiting for someone to enter.

The already dead warrior, the undead knight.

“There is your target,” I said while pointing at the undead, I addressed Darren who seemed to be the one representing the crooks, and warned, “If it dies, I will hurt all of you.

Just incapacitate him.

Cut his legs off and hold them.

Don’t let him patch himself up.

Now go.” Once I was sure they all understood what they needed to do, I stepped aside, letting them pass me and enter the hallway.

The first to go was Darren and as soon as his presence was noticed, the undead knight jumped at him with its sword drawn.

“Aqua Shield!” Darren brought his hand to his front and a shield of water formed to block the sword of the undead knight.

However, the strike was strong even for Darren and brought him to his knees but his shield did what it was supposed to do, halt the knight for just a moment.

Seeing the opportunity, the gang leaders jumped at it, wielding different weapons and aiming at its legs.

It was a good thing they were following instructions.

The undead knight ignored Darren and easily deflected the attacks from two of the leaders while it managed to dodge the rest.

That gave Darren an opportunity as well as he used another skill.

“Aqua Bing!” Darren yelled the name of his skill and a bubble of water formed around the undead knight’s sword, halting its movements.

The gang leaders didn’t waste the opportunity and aimed at the knight’s legs once again successfully cutting them off before the knight could do anything.

Two of the leaders each took one leg and ran away from the knight’s body.

I moved at my max speed and arrived in front of the undead.

While it tried to free itself, I placed my hand on its helm and began to absorb the element of death in it.

Given its rank, it took more than a few minutes which gave some people in the crowd a perfect opportunity to attack me.

One of the gang leaders didn’t waste such a good opportunity and jumped at me while yelling ‘die’ with a lot of exclamation marks.

I didn’t stop absorbing the power of the undead since it wasn’t a problem.

As soon as he got into some range, he fell midair.

He fell and clutched his heart letting go of his sword and his shrieks surpassed even that of Darren.

I kept on absorbing the element of death while the gang leader kept screaming, instilling fear into the hearts of everyone who heard it.

finally, the knight’s power fell down to the F- rank at which I killed it with a magic bullet.

At the same time, I turned to the one screaming, begging for mercy in between if he could somehow manage.

“I guess I have been a bit too generous with you scum.” I placed my foot on his head as I doubted he could resist right now.

I began to apply pressure but it was no use.

His stats were higher than mine so crushing his skull with my feet was a difficult task even though he was currently offering zero resistance.

I waved my hand and the intensity of his screams increased as slowly, blood began to come out of his orifices.

Soon enough, there were no more screams heard.

A body lay on the cold hard stone floor, a mess to say the least, all life vanquished from its eyes as I received several notifications.
