The number of undead beyond that door exceeded twenty at first glance.

They were simply standing in the castle lobby, at the entrance of every corridor and the bottom of every stair.

Killing them would take more than what I had right now.

They were standing in pairs at each entrance and I didn’t know whether they would attack me in pairs if attacked by me or all at once.

If it was in pairs, then it was well and good.

That only left me with the traditional but expensive way.

There was nothing else in the shop that I could buy now with this meager amount.

It was a good thing I still had some leftover potions from soul reparation.

Anyway, after nine hours of arduous work, I finally had my holy water, the only problem was that I had planned to make it explode but I couldn’t since the exploding bottle set was at least in thousands of coins and I had none.

The stuff I had left in the shop was something I couldn’t sell because everything was unique.

Done with this, I entered the room and prepared the first bottle.

The nearest undead to me were the ones guarding one of the corridor entrances.

I aimed at them and threw about half out of one bottle.

As soon as the water fell on both undeads, they began to scream and wail in pain and fell to the ground.

But what I feared came true.

The rest of the undead charged at me.

it was a good thing I was prepared.

I threw the holy water in an arc to try and cover all of the undeads.

I failed but I conjured up the shield and reinforced it with about 1000 MP to make it sturdier.

Still, it began to crack but it was enough time for me as the undeads that weren’t wet first were given that honor now.

Just as every undead was in pain, I hurriedly consumed a potion and then a rain of ‘Magic canon’ began.

I didn’t stop when my MP reached zero.

I consumed another MP potion and got back to it again.

The undead were getting used to the holy water so I began with the ones I had short first.

Soon, my MP ran out just as two of them died.

I didn’t hold back and kept using potions and kept shooting at them.

after thirty-nine potions and fifteen minutes of relentless shooting, I finally managed to kill the last undead in the room.

It was price consuming but just one undead could make me enough coins to make a lot of holly bombs so it was alright.

I wanted to scream but since doing so would do nothing, I kept on moving and kept killing undeads on the first floor.

The layout of all the corridors was the same so it wouldn’t matter where I would end up.

I reached the end of the stairs and as expected, I saw two undeads.

These ones were stronger than the rest given their armor was shinier compared to those on the ground floor and also the chilling sensation they exuded was way stronger.

I stopped.

Fighting the way, I had been fighting was inefficient.

Up until now, I hadn’t worn any armor or artifacts because the armors in the shop weren’t up to my standards.

I was waiting for my strength to get to a point where I could craft my own armor but it was impossible for now.

So, with a heavy heart, I decided to use my accumulated coins which were about nine million to purchase some high-end artifacts and armors.
