Another figure stepped out; this one was no humanoid but rather an actual human. With grey hair, noble clothes, and a bearing that didn’t match the environment he was in, the person was none other than Earl Malmond.

The High Ranking Demon cackled, looking at the knight trapped inside a block of decade old ice.

“I never knew the Abyssal Compass had a power like that. In the first place, if you could use such a powerful ability, why didn’t you do so before?”

There had been plenty of opportunities to trap the Divine Paladin.

“Heh, human, you think a treasure on the level of an Ultimate Demonic Treasure is so easy to use? Earl Malmond was irritated; nevertheless, he did not dwell on the topic and instead focused his attention on the person frozen in ice.

“Did you prepare all the things I told you to?”

They were talking about killing a man who had the power to go toe to toe against the Seventh Heavenly King and wake up even after being inflicted with the Demon Lord’s curse.
