Chapter 442: Chapter 442- Unscathed!!

As someone who had stepped into the divine, Reinhardt was clearer than anyone else in this valley how powerful this attack of the Extreme Knight, conjured by all of his power, was.

Even he felt a slight scent of danger from it.

That said, a rush of excitement flooded his body. Moments like this didn’t appear often; he wanted to try out which was sturdier, his body which had all of its stats in Divine, or the arrow.

And so, he switched out of his Divine Armor and extended his arms wide in invitation. As for the crystal, it was protected by the [Aegis of Eternal Flame] behind him.

“Come!” Reinhardt declared.

Since this was broadcasted in real time all across the kingdom, people watching him all thought that he had a death wish.

Even Guren was shocked; he never expected the Divine Paladin to take on his attack without any guard or armor. Be that as it may, there was no way to recall the arrow now that it was released.

The arrow was extremely swift; within just a second, it was already upon Reinhardt.

BOOOOOOMMMM…

.

The moment the arrow hit the man, the land answered with a scream, and the sky stole all vision, painting hundreds of meters of land in white.

Large swathes of soil were obliterated, and deep fissures ran through the ground. Forest around the impact crater was burned, lakes evaporated, and the mountains closest to the strike fractured, causing avalanches.

Everything in a nine hundred meter radius was erased, and all it took was a single arrow.

Huff… Huff…

Guren huffed in exhaustion and jumped down on the ground that had turned into fine glass. If even the outer perimeter of the impact circle was like this, one could imagine the kind of damage hit the center of all of this devastation.

This was the power of one of the Extreme Knights of the kingdom, the might of the commander of the Order of the Iron Wolf Knights.

A few seconds later, the searing light receded back, revealing a deep crater at the center of the devastation. The land and air there were still superhot, evidenced by the violently distorted air.

“Even a former legend will fall after this attack. You thought of yourself too highly, Divine Paladin.”

[Sagitta Ultima] was the most powerful arrow in his quiver and the Ultimate skill that embodied all of his skills, techniques, and experiences he had learned and trained over the years.

It nearly took all of his power to fire, and he can only shoot one of those once per day. Blocking it was impossible, and so was coming out of it unscathed.

Even if it did not kill the Divine Paladin, it would no doubt render the other party unable to battle. Or so he and the entire populace of Solaris watching the broadcast believed.

The arrow had that much power and visual impact.

If the Divine Paladin’s skill was precise and controlled, then the Extreme Knight’s power was unrestrained and merciless.

However, to everyone’s disbelief, a figure slowly walked out of the searing smoke.

CLAP… CLAP… CLAP

“Truly, I’m impressed. I never thought that another knight could reach the level of the Seven Great Commanders. That arrow is well deserved of its name. Even a lower ranking Heavenly King might die from it if fired at the right moment. You have proven your power.”

He had four golden wings behind his back; his clothes were tattered and burned, dust covered his body, and his hair was a mess. Nevertheless, even with such a ragged appearance, the halo around the man did not dim at all.

In fact, it seemed to have become even stronger at this moment.

Who else could the figure with an incredibly conspicuous appearance be other than Reinhardt?

He had actually, to the shock of everyone, walked out of the attack unscathed.

While his clothes got burned and his appearance was covered in dust, there was not even a single scratch on his immaculately carved body, which at this moment evoked excited cries from the ladies all over the kingdom.

Seeing your most powerful attack being brushed off like it was some kind of child’s play would mentally shake anyone. Even a powerful Extreme Knight like Guren was no exception.

“You, how did you…? That was…? Impossible.”

Guren was so shaken that he had difficulty forming proper words. The arrow he fired was supposed to be his most powerful skill, [Sagitta Ultima], named with the intention to even bring down a Heavenly King; yet the Divine Paladin took a head on brunt and came out unscathed. ”

You don’t need to be disheartened; your arrow was indeed powerful. In fact, I have never seen a more amazing marksman than you. You can be proud of that.”

Enmity aside, the level 9 Extreme Knight was someone who deserved respect; not just anyone could reach the level he was at without putting their very soul and bones to the grind.

Reinhardt was genuinely praising the other party. As for the message from above, it was because he was superior to the other party.

However, Guren didn’t seem to like it. The man notched his bow again. Though sadly for him, with that exhausted body and rapidly waning power, the match was already decided. No, it was already decided even before that.

Reinhardt flapped his wings. Under the influence of four wings of seraphim, his speed was just too fast for the Extreme Knight. The next instant, he was already beside Guren.

When did he…? The latter opened his eyes wide.

“Sorry, I don’t have any more time to warm up with you. Those guys are here.”

BANG… A punch pressed against his chest; his armor caved in, and the knight’s face instantly turned red.

GUGH… Blood leaked out from his mouth, his eyes, and all of his seven orifices. Slowly, Guren’s vision turned blurry, and he couldn’t help but fall to the ground.

Just before he fully lost consciousness, all he could think of was the Divine Paladin’s last words.

“So all this was just warm up for him?”
