Chapter 440: Chapter 440- Sagitta Ultima
“Hahaha… Amazing, what kind of skill is that?”

A large hulk of a knight muttered to himself. He carried one large sword in each of his hands and was decked in heavy armor that boiled the air around him like a surging volcano.

With a fierce face that could even scare a demon, the man was a knight with countless legends. The man was the commander of the Order of the Blazing Sun, Brutus Sparta.

All around him were bodies of defeated knights that came lusting after his crystal.

“Shall I go and have a look?”

On another corner of the Valley, a woman of peerless beauty and grace was holding onto a scale. At first, the scale was balanced; then suddenly one of the sides tipped heavily.

The woman, or rather the commander of the Guardians of the Divine Radiance, Vanessa, narrowed her eyes.

The same scene repeated with all the other commanders of the Seven Great Orders. They all felt the power of the skill unleashed.

“Is that man serious?” Leona, who finished bashing a group of wild monsters that attacked her, looked at the golden formation in the sky.

She was not unfamiliar with this skill. In fact, she had seen it back when they cleared the underground vault. Recalling what happened back then, she grabbed onto her weapon tightly.

.

Back at the scene, Reinhardt flashed a grin.

If he unleashed the skill as it is, it would break the tacit rule the seven commanders made. As such, he used the much tamer and weaker variation of the skill.

“[Weapon Dominion].”

At that moment, a visible ripple spread through the entire valley.

“What is he doing?” Guren looked at the giant formation in the sky and muttered to himself.

His expression was grim. The annihilation-like power that spread from the gate bordered at the ultimate skill level. What’s more, it was when the gates were still closed.

What kind of skill possessed such terrifying power, and what did it do?

Thankfully, the gates of heaven never opened; instead, what appeared like glitters of light at first started manifesting around the gates.

One… ten… hundred…

In the blink of an eye, there were hundreds of glittering dots in the sky. No, they were not glittering light; Guren’s [Hawk Eyes] could tell that they were actually weapons, swords, halberds, axes. All kinds of weapons appeared in the sky.

And then simultaneously, they all pointed at different sections of the land around him.

“Don’t tell me…” A bad omen hit him. Instincts took over, and he hurriedly strapped his bow back and stretched his right hand.

RUMBLE…

At that very moment, it was as if a mountain collapsed; a deafening noise rang out across the area. Lights that were actually weapons moving at an extreme speed rained down from the sky, leveling the land.

In the blink, hundreds of meters of area changed its topography, devastated beyond recognition.

.

After the weapons he collected from all over the valley using [Weapon Dominion] finished crashing down on the land, Reinhardt lowered his hand.

The gates of heaven above him in the sky also disappeared along with the annihilation-like power that surged everywhere.

Anyways, with this attack, he made sure his opponent wouldn’t be able to run or teleport like before.

Earlier, all the angles the weapons pointed at were precisely the markers where the Commander of the Ironwold Knights had placed his [Blink Arrows]. In short, even if the other party blinked away again, they would be caught in the radius of his attack.

Still…

“I have nothing but praise for you. To reach this stage, one cannot simply rely on connection, luck, or talent. You really should be proud of yourself.”

His eyes looked ahead in the dust-covered field. Not far away, a figure could be seen standing tall even after taking on his attack.

When the dust settled, the opponent’s figure was revealed. With his left hand outstretched, the figure gave off a dashing and heroic aura. In front of him was a powerful glowing shield in the shape of a large ferocious divine wolf.

“[Lykaios Hegis],” Guren slowly muttered the name of the skill.

“You are truly a worthy Extreme Knight. I have never seen an archer with a shield.”

The Divine Paladin praised him.

However, the man was not happy. The reason for that was because even though he managed to block the attack, half of the wolf shield that he prided on was destroyed. His clothes were tattered, and a couple of bloody slashes decked his body.

What’s more, he had used his most powerful defensive skill, yet it was still broken through. How could he be happy?

That said, he expected this level of resistance. After all, his opponent was a knight who was once a legendary hero.

“Is that your Ultimate skill?”

At that question from Guren, Reinhardt arched his brows.

Ultimate skills were powerful tactical class attacks that could reshape the landscape and change the flow of the battle. Given the destruction and might of the skill that he displayed, he couldn’t blame the other party for thinking so.

However, rather than an ultimate skill, it was more of a unique skill. What’s more, he had yet to show the full strength of this skill.

Guren did not wait for his answer and was already preparing for action. His misconception formed, he spoke. “Since you showed your Ultimate Skill, it’s my turn.”

The archer pulled his bowstring.

Be that as it may, Reinhardt wasn’t that inclined to change the other party’s misconception. Since the man wanted to show him his own Ultimate Skill, that was good and all. However, what kind of an idiot would wait for an archer to shoot their arrows?

They were both knights, and this was an official battle; there was no chivalry in waiting for the opponent to finish. And so, Reinhardt flapped his wings and charged toward Guren, who seemed hell bent on releasing his arrow even though the enemy was right in front of him.

Just as the sword was about to slash through the knight, the latter positioned his bow upward and released his arrow.
