Chapter 437: Chapter 437- Leave Everything That You Have And Scram
The arrows did not explode after hitting their target, but instead expanded mid air.

The sky above Reinhardt lit up, and from the air dropped columns of lightning as thick as an adult’s arm.

In response, he executed the Third Light of the [Holy Sword Art]. His sword slashes were so fast that they disintegrated any lightning heading… not his but the crystal’s way.

An application of [Limitless] was that he was no longer constrained by physical limits. He can unleash any technique or skill through his sword with just a will.

Thanks to his protection, the crystal was completely fine. As for him, there was no way such an attack would even be able to leave a mark on him.

Through the lightning pillars, Reinhardt came out all unscathed.

“Fine, I’ll use you for warm up.”

He pointed with his finger, and his sword immediately flew out towards the distant hill. It was boring if his enemy only attacked him from a distance and he simply stood there doing nothing.

SLASH… His sword executed the first technique of the [Holy Blade Art], bisecting the peak of the hill from its base.

.

.

Meanwhile, the Vanguard team that separated from Reinhardt reached the base of the opponents.

The glowing lights earlier revealed the positions of all the knight orders nearby, thus making it easier for the Vanguard Knights to attack each other.

When the Vanguard Knights of the order of the Temple of Light, led by Marcus arrived at the base of the nearest knight order to them, they were stunned by the sight in front of them.

“This…”

“Those damn members of the Council.”

The members of the Temple of Light grit their teeth. Why would they not? After all, in front of them were six crystals, each guarded by the Crystal Guardians.

In this Grand Aegis Shatter where every knight order should be enemies, these six had joined hands.

Six crystals stood in front of them, protected by six Crystal Guardians. If they wanted to destroy the six crystals, or even one for that matter, they needed to go through all six of the Crystal Guardians.

“Talk about doing something crazy. Well, I guess anything goes as long as there is no rule about it,” Marcus spoke, grinning. There was no trace of complaint on his face, only pure excitement.

As one would expect of a battle maniac, he was digging this unfair handicap.

“Hmm? What? You all getting cold feet?”

The Holy Knight glanced at his team, then scratched his hair.

“Well, I’ll tell you this first. Don’t expect me to lead you. I ain’t leader material like Commander and Bob. Also, don’t expect me to come up with words to rile you up. If you chicken, then stay back. I can handle them all.”

Just like the man, or rather the former bandit leader said, he sucked at raising morale. In fact, it would be a boon if his teammates did not get discouraged from his words after that.

Be it for better or worse, all the people here were members of the Temple of Light who had gone through rigorous training and missions.

If they had any weakness in their spirits, it was already weeded out in the early phase.

Silvia and the other high ranking already used to the Holy Knight’s foul mouth, readied their swords, and so did new members like Delicia. They were all ready for their enemies.

“Heh, at least you all got guts. That’s how it should be. Men, we charge straight, butcher them all.”

The former bandit had forgotten that they cannot kill others, or for that matter, girls were in his team too.

Anyways, with a leader like Marcus, they boldly and openly marched ahead.

As Vanguard Knights, their role was to attack openly. However, the way they strutted forward, it was more like a procession of power than anything else.

“You lot, if you don’t want to go through a world lot of hurt, leave your crystals and everything you have and then scram.”

SILENCE…

For a second, a puzzling silence descended onto the place.

Both the enemies and the members of the Temple of Light looked at Marcus as if asking what was he saying?

Silvia face palmed herself. All of a sudden, she felt pity for Holy Knight Bob, who always had to tag and babysit his colleagues.

Leave your crystals and belongings? What are they, bandits?

The faces of all the members of the Temple of Light turned crimson from embarrassment. Nevertheless, as their ranks were lower than the Holy Knight, they could not do anything.

“What are these guys saying?”

“Maybe they are not right in the head?”

As expected, their opponents looked at them with sceptical sidelong glances. Anyone would after that declaration. That said, they made one mistake; their following remark next touched the order’s reverse scale.

“Yeah, right, they are from the Temple of Light, the knight order that is led by a has been hero and is on the verge of…”

BANG… Before the knight could finish his sentence, a punch came crushing his skull, sending him flying.

“The hell did you say?” Marcus roared, his face murderous like a demon.

The last words the knight said were like poking the bear. There was bound to be consequences.

It was not only him; the atmosphere around all the members of the Temple of Light changed.

Reinhardt’s position in their heart was extremely high; to dare slander him was like asking to get killed.

“You bastard, you dare attack me when I’m speaking?!”

The knight who was punched earlier cried out indignantly. A few of his teeth were missing. Marcus’ punch packed enough power to break a couple of his teeth.

“A knight does not complain, no matter how unfair the situation. Do you see us complaining about the fact that six of your knight orders joined hands just to mess with our Temple of Light? Besides, if you badmouth our commander in front of us, prepare for some beating.”
