All six commanders attacked him with skilful coordination, and they utilised every window and blind spot that they could identify.

However, when compared to the sparring sessions with his Holy Knights, they were severely lacking. Their foundation and experience were extremely low, giving birth to unexpected delays and missing critical openings.

Well, if you strip them of their powerful stats and skills, then they were no better than a high ranking; no, a true knight.

One of the six commanders cursed out. The armor on his body was severely dented with a fist shape engraving in it.

“W-Why isn’t that person doing anything?”

“Is he waiting for an opportunity?”

It was unknown who the six commanders were waiting for. However, before they could complete their conversation, a golden streak flashed past them.

It was so fast that it actually took them a second to register in their eyes. When they turned their heads around, they finally saw what the golden flash was.

It was the Divine Paladin; he had actually moved from his place.

“Wha…”

The first to be knocked out was the commander of the Ironhound Legion. A punch shattered through his rock armor, dealing immense internal damage and sending him flying like a rocket toward the sky.

The other five commanders instantly reacted and backed away. They tried to hurriedly activate their skills. However, Reinhardt was just too fast.

One by one, he defeated them all with a single attack, unarmed.

And so, after just ten minutes since the Great Aegis Shatter started, six knight orders were already out, defeated by Reinhardt all alone.

The artifact broadcasted his battle all around the kingdom, raising his reputation and status to new heights.

The citizens in the coliseum, capital, bar, and every other place shouted his name.

The Council planned to curb his influence by using their loyal dogs to defeat Reinhardt, live in front of the whole populace. However, it ended up biting them in their ass. He showed them; no, he showed the whole kingdom the might of the Divine Paladin.

The Council’s attempts only intensified the halo around him further.

Having defeated the six commanders with minimal effort, he turned towards the crystal. His weapon, the mythril sword, slowly levitated around the object, protecting and guarding it from any attacks.

“You still won’t take the bait, huh?”

Reinhardt muttered to himself. His gaze shifted to a hill far in the distance. Normally, unless you are at the Extreme Knight level, you won’t even be able to sense their presence.

However, it appeared that the other party had no intention of hiding their presence.

That’s right, the reason why he left the side of the crystal, going even as far as to show it defenceless, was to bait that person.

The one the six knight commanders were pinning their hopes on.

Air crackled, and numerous glowing dots appeared in the sky.

If the first arrow was a warning shot and the second just to tease him, then this one was a… literal rain.

“We really don’t see eye to eye. Are you testing the waters against me?”

Since catching them all one by one in the split window frame was too annoying, he simply chose to destroy them all. And so, he swung his fist forward.

The resulting explosion looked like fireworks going off in the sky. This kind of tactic did not work on him previously, nor did it now.

The knight, or rather Guren sniping on him from the hill, also realised that and switched to a different tactic.

PANG… The bowstring was released again. However, this time, along with the crackling of air, actual bolts of lightning manifested as arrows and came striking Reinhardt.

Having finished with their greeting, his opponent did not fire probing attacks anymore. This time, the attack was serious.

The numerous arrows fired behaved peculiarly. They changed direction mid air by sending lightning signals to each other, spreading like a net and even making impossible curves.

With them spreading out all around, even if he punched the air again, it would not have much effect. Additionally, these lightning arrows were different from mana arrows.
