The Terra Wardens packed incredible defence, even while fighting another golem; none of them took any heavy damage.

He had been such a thorn to the Council that every time a message came from the capital, his thought would first go over to the Council.

The messenger smiled awkwardly and shook his head. “That’s not it, the reason why I am here is to inform you about the upcoming Magic Knight Entrance Exam”.

So that’s what it was about… Reinhardt nodded his. Now that he thought about it, it was almost that time of the year.

“So is it a summons for all the Seven Great Knight Commanders to gather?”

“That too, but I am here for a different reason. Since Sir Reinhardt was present during the scene, you should know the attack that occurred in the Capital a year ago”.

The messenger was talking about the event where hundreds of gargoyles and a high class demon snuck into their capital without anyone realising.

Not only did they use the opportunity where all the knight commanders and their order were gathered in one place to trap them, but they also brought forth one of the Ultimate Demonic Treasures for the plan.

However, thanks to the valiant efforts of the knights, the demon’s evil plan was thwarted.

“Number Seven on the Ultimate Demonic treasure, the Abyssal Compass was retrieved from the ashes of the demon and kept inside the vault of the royal palace”.

Well, he did know that much. The vault of the Royal Palace, just like the one in their Arcknight family, held numerous treasures and demonic items that couldn’t be destroyed, sealed inside, never seeing the light of the day again.

In fact, the vault underneath the royal palace was many times bigger and contained more dangerous items.

It was for this reason that the security there was top notch. What more, after the incident where the Supreme Divine Treasure of Solaris was stolen, the security and defences there had been increased manifold.

Had they done this a couple of years ago, then perhaps there would have been a possibility that Solaris wouldn’t have lost its Supreme Divine Treasure.

Nevertheless, even with the Divine Treasure gone, there were a lot of ominous and powerful demonic items there that couldn’t be allowed to fall into the hands of the demon again.

Well, with the amount of protection and security in the vault now, it might not be an exaggeration to say that it was impenetrable now.

Unless of course, a powerful Heavenly King decides to welcome themselves uninvited.

The messenger continued, “A couple of days ago, the Abyssal Compass started behaving unusually. The knights who guarded the vault started disappearing without a trace. We tried to search; however, our result led us nowhere. It was as if the knights disappeared out of thin air”.

“Then, to make matters worse, the demonic energy released by the treasure started resonating with the other demonic items inside the vault, causing an overflow of demonic energy to spread inside the underground chamber. If such dense demonic energy is allowed to leak outside, it would affect the people of the capital”.

The more the messenger explained, the dire the picture in the capital became. It was no wonder a messenger was dispatched to get him after all…

“The Queen sent me to get you urgently. She wants you to suppress the building demonic energy inside the underground chamber before it leaks out to the surface”.

When it came to demonic energy, he was a specialist. Well, there was one more, but she was probably out on a mission and not available.

“I understand. So who is handling the situation right now?”
