“Understood,” the Divine Paladin answered deeply. He got on one knee and kissed her extended hand, thus performing the promise.

The next second, he turned around, a spatial rift forming around his right arm from which appeared the sword made by the gods, the solar edge.

“[Exalted Strike]” No one saw his sword slash that had transcended even the realm of heroes. However, every single one of them present there, without a single exception, were unmistakably able to hear the sound of something tearing.

Before they could even ponder, the world brightened, like the dawn of a new day. Even the crimson annihilation rays in the distance dimmed in front of the light.

And then… the city shook.
